10 “当春雨的时候，你们要向发闪电的耶和华求雨，他必为众人降下甘霖，使田园生长菜蔬。 2 因为家神所言的是虚空，卜士所见的是虚假，做梦者所说的是假梦。他们白白地安慰人，所以众人如羊流离，因无牧人就受苦。 3 我的怒气向牧人发作，我必惩罚公山羊，因我万军之耶和华眷顾自己的羊群，就是犹大家，必使他们如骏马在阵上。 4 房角石、钉子、争战的弓和一切掌权的都从他而出。 5 他们必如勇士，在阵上将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在，骑马的也必羞愧。
主必拯其民使返故土
6 “我要坚固犹大家，拯救约瑟家，要领他们归回。我要怜恤他们，他们必像未曾弃绝的一样。都因我是耶和华他们的神，我必应允他们的祷告。 7 以法莲人必如勇士，他们心中畅快如同喝酒。他们的儿女必看见而快活，他们的心必因耶和华喜乐。
8 “我要发咝声，聚集他们，因我已经救赎他们。他们的人数必加增，如从前加增一样。 9 我虽然[a]播散他们在列国中，他们必在远方记念我。他们与儿女都必存活，且得归回。 10 我必再领他们出埃及地，招聚他们出亚述，领他们到基列和黎巴嫩，这地尚且不够他们居住。 11 耶和华必经过苦海，击打海浪，使尼罗河的深处都枯干。亚述的骄傲必致卑微，埃及的权柄必然灭没。 12 我必使他们倚靠我得以坚固，一举一动必奉我的名。这是耶和华说的。”

10 在春雨的季節，你們要向耶和華求雨。
耶和華閃發雷電，
給人降雨，使各人的田地生長蔬菜。
2 因為偶像所說的是空言，
占卜者所見的是虛謊，
他們所說的是假夢，
只給人空洞的安慰。
因此，眾人都如羊沒有牧人，流離困苦。
3 “我的怒氣要向這些牧人發作，
我要懲罰那些公山羊。
（因為萬軍之耶和華眷顧他的羊群猶大家，使他們像戰場上雄赳赳的戰馬。）
4 房角石、
帳棚樁、
作戰的弓
和所有的統治者，都從猶大而出。
5 他們必像勇士，

8 我要向他們吹哨子，招聚他們，
因為我救贖了他們。
他們的人數要增多，像從前一樣。
9 雖然我把他們散播在萬民中，
他們仍要在遠方記念我；
他們與他們的子孫都要存活，並且歸回。
10 我要使他們從埃及地歸回，
從亞述地招聚他們，
帶他們到基列地和黎巴嫩山，
卻仍不夠容納他們。
11 他必經過苦難的海，

Restoration of Judah and Israel
10 Ask rain from the Lord
in the season of the spring rain,
from the Lord who makes the storm clouds,
who gives showers of rain to you,[a]
the vegetation in the field to everyone.(A)
2 For the teraphim[b] utter nonsense,
and the diviners see lies;
the dreamers tell false dreams
and give empty consolation.
Therefore the people[c] wander like sheep;
they suffer for lack of a shepherd.(B)
3 My anger is hot against the shepherds,
and I will punish the leaders,[d]
for the Lord of hosts cares for his flock, the house of Judah,
and will make them like his proud war horse.(C)
4 Out of them shall come the cornerstone,
out of them the tent peg,
out of them the battle bow,
out of them every commander.(D)
5 Together they shall be like warriors in battle,
trampling the foe in the mud of the streets;
they shall fight, for the Lord is with them,
and they shall put to shame the riders on horses.(E)
6 I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back because I have compassion on them,
and they shall be as though I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God, and I will answer them.(F)
7 Then the people of Ephraim shall become like warriors,
and their hearts shall be glad as with wine.
Their children shall see it and rejoice;
their hearts shall exult in the Lord.(G)
8 I will signal for them and gather them in,
for I have redeemed them,
and they shall be as numerous as they were before.(H)
9 Though I scattered them among the nations,
yet in far countries they shall remember me,
and they shall rear their children and return.(I)
10 I will bring them home from the land of Egypt
and gather them from Assyria;
I will bring them to the land of Gilead and to Lebanon,
until there is no room for them.(J)
11 They[e] shall pass through the sea of distress,
and the waves of the sea shall be struck down,
and all the depths of the Nile dried up.
The pride of Assyria shall be laid low,
and the scepter of Egypt shall depart.(K)
12 I will make them strong in the Lord,
and they shall walk in his name,
says the Lord.(L)
