耶和华应许拯救以色列
10 要在春季向耶和华求雨。
祂创造雷雨，
为世人降下甘霖，
使田间长出青翠之物。
2 因为神像说的是虚言，
占卜者讲的是谎话，
他们说的是假梦，
他们的安慰是空的。
所以人们如迷失的羊，
因没有牧人而受苦。
3 “我必向牧人发怒，
我必惩罚这些首领[a]。
因为我——万军之耶和华必眷顾我的羊群犹大家，
我必使他们像战场上的骏马。
4 房角石、帐篷的橛子、战弓，
以及所有掌权者必出自犹大。
5 他们必像战场上的勇士，
将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。
他们必争战，
因为耶和华与他们同在。
他们必使敌方的骑兵蒙羞。
6 “我必使犹大家强盛，
我必拯救约瑟家。
我必带他们回到故土，
因为我怜悯他们。
他们必好像从未被我抛弃一样，
因为我是他们的上帝耶和华，
我必应允他们的祷告。
7 以法莲人必如勇士，
他们必心里快乐，如同喝了酒，
他们的儿女见状也必快乐，
他们必因耶和华而欢心。
8 “我必吹哨聚集他们，
因为我救赎了他们，
他们必像从前一样人数众多。
9 虽然我把他们分散到列国，
他们必在远方想起我，
他们及其子女必得以幸存，
并且回到故土。
10 我必从埃及领他们回到故土，
从亚述招聚他们，
领他们到基列和黎巴嫩，
那里将不够他们居住。
11 祂必经过苦海，
击打海浪，
尼罗河必干涸，
亚述的骄傲必扫地，
埃及的势力必灭没。
12 我必让他们靠着我强盛，
他们必奉我的名行事。
这是耶和华说的。”

10 在春雨的季节，你们要向耶和华求雨。
耶和华闪发雷电，
给人降雨，使各人的田地生长蔬菜。
2 因为偶像所说的是空言，
占卜者所见的是虚谎，
他们所说的是假梦，
只给人空洞的安慰。
因此，众人都如羊没有牧人，流离困苦。
3 “我的怒气要向这些牧人发作，
我要惩罚那些公山羊。
（因为万军之耶和华眷顾他的羊群犹大家，使他们像战场上雄赳赳的战马。）
4 房角石、
帐棚桩、
作战的弓
和所有的统治者，都从犹大而出。
5 他们必像勇士，
在战场上把仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中，
他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在，
他们必使敌方的骑士羞愧。
主必拯救他的子民
6 我要使犹大家强盛起来，
我必拯救约瑟家。
我要使他们归回，
因为我怜悯他们；
他们好象未遭我弃绝一样，
因为我是耶和华他们的 神，我必应允他们。
7 以法莲人必像勇士，
他们心中快乐，好象饮了酒一样；
他们的子孙看见了，也必快乐；
他们的心必因耶和华欢乐。
8 我要向他们吹哨子，招聚他们，
因为我救赎了他们。
他们的人数要增多，像从前一样。
9 虽然我把他们散播在万民中，
他们仍要在远方记念我；
他们与他们的子孙都要存活，并且归回。
10 我要使他们从埃及地归回，
从亚述地招聚他们，
带他们到基列地和黎巴嫩山，
却仍不够容纳他们。
11 他必经过苦难的海，
击打海中的波浪，
尼罗河的深处也都要干涸；
亚述的骄傲必降为卑；
埃及的权势要过去。
12 我必使我的子民因耶和华而强盛，
他们要奉耶和华的名行事为人。”

O Senhor restaurará seu povo
10 Peçam ao Senhor chuva na primavera,
pois ele forma as nuvens de tempestade.
E ele enviará aguaceiros,
para que todos os campos se tornem pastos verdes.
2 Os ídolos do lar dão conselhos inúteis,
os adivinhadores só predizem mentiras,
e os que interpretam sonhos
proclamam falsidades que não trazem nenhuma consolação.
Por isso meu povo anda sem rumo,
como ovelhas perdidas que não têm pastor.
3 “Minha ira arde contra seus pastores,
e eu castigarei esses líderes.[a]
Pois o Senhor dos Exércitos chegou
para cuidar de Judá, seu rebanho.
Ele o tornará forte e glorioso,
como um majestoso cavalo na batalha.
4 De Judá virão a pedra angular,
a estaca da tenda,
o arco para a batalha,
e todos os governantes.
5 Serão como guerreiros poderosos na batalha,
que pisam os inimigos na lama sob seus pés.
Pois o Senhor está com eles na luta,
e derrubarão até os cavaleiros do inimigo.
6 “Fortalecerei Judá e livrarei Israel;[b]
eu os restaurarei, porque tenho compaixão deles.
Será como se eu nunca os houvesse rejeitado,
pois eu sou o Senhor, seu Deus,
e ouvirei seus clamores.
7 Os habitantes de Israel[c] serão como guerreiros poderosos,
e seu coração se alegrará como se fosse pelo vinho.
Seus filhos também verão isso e exultarão;
sim, seu coração se alegrará no Senhor.
8 Quando eu assobiar para eles, virão até mim,
pois os resgatei.
Eles crescerão
e se tornarão numerosos como antes.
9 Embora eu os tenha espalhado entre as nações,
ainda se lembrarão de mim nas terras distantes.
Eles e seus filhos sobreviverão
e voltarão para Israel.
10 Eu os trarei de volta do Egito
e os juntarei da Assíria.
Eu os estabelecerei outra vez em Gileade e no Líbano,
até que não haja mais espaço para todos.
11 Passarão pelo mar da aflição,[d]
pois as ondas do mar serão contidas,
e as águas do Nilo secarão.
O orgulho da Assíria será abatido,
e o domínio do Egito chegará ao fim.
12 Por meu poder[e] fortalecerei meu povo,
e, pela autoridade de meu nome, viverão.

The Lord Will Care for Judah
10 Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;
it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.
He gives showers of rain(A) to all people,
and plants of the field(B) to everyone.
2 The idols(C) speak deceitfully,
diviners(D) see visions that lie;
they tell dreams(E) that are false,
they give comfort in vain.(F)
Therefore the people wander like sheep
oppressed for lack of a shepherd.(G)
3 “My anger burns against the shepherds,
and I will punish the leaders;(H)
for the Lord Almighty will care
for his flock, the people of Judah,
and make them like a proud horse in battle.(I)
4 From Judah will come the cornerstone,(J)
from him the tent peg,(K)
from him the battle bow,(L)
from him every ruler.
5 Together they[a] will be like warriors in battle
trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets.(M)
They will fight because the Lord is with them,
and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame.(N)
6 “I will strengthen(O) Judah
and save the tribes of Joseph.
I will restore them
because I have compassion(P) on them.(Q)
They will be as though
I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God
and I will answer(R) them.
7 The Ephraimites will become like warriors,
and their hearts will be glad as with wine.(S)
Their children will see it and be joyful;
their hearts will rejoice(T) in the Lord.
8 I will signal(U) for them
and gather them in.
Surely I will redeem them;
they will be as numerous(V) as before.
9 Though I scatter them among the peoples,
yet in distant lands they will remember me.(W)
They and their children will survive,
and they will return.
10 I will bring them back from Egypt
and gather them from Assyria.(X)
I will bring them to Gilead(Y) and Lebanon,
and there will not be room(Z) enough for them.
11 They will pass through the sea of trouble;
the surging sea will be subdued
and all the depths of the Nile will dry up.(AA)
Assyria’s pride(AB) will be brought down
and Egypt’s scepter(AC) will pass away.(AD)
12 I will strengthen(AE) them in the Lord
and in his name they will live securely,(AF)”
declares the Lord.
