劝人民悔改归向 神
1 大利乌王第二年八月，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子、比利家的儿子撒迦利亚先知，说： 2 “耶和华曾对你们的列祖大发烈怒， 3 所以，你要对众民说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：你们要转向我（这是万军之耶和华的宣告），我就必转向你们（这是万军之耶和华说的）。 4 不要效法你们的列祖那样，从前的先知呼唤他们：万军之耶和华这样说，你们要回转，离开你们的恶道和恶行。他们却不听从，也不理会我（这是耶和华的宣告）。 5 你们的列祖在哪里呢？那些先知能永远活着吗？ 6 然而我吩咐我的仆人众先知的话与条例，不是已报应在你们的列祖身上吗？所以他们就回转，说：万军之耶和华定意按着我们所作所行的对付我们，他已经这样行了。’”
骑马者的异象
7 大利乌王第二年十一月（就是细罢特月）二十四日，耶和华的话临到易多的孙子、比利家的儿子撒迦利亚先知，实情如下：
8 我夜间观看，看见有一个人骑着红马，站在低洼地上的番石榴树中间；在他后面还有些红色、栗色和白色的马。
9 我就问：“我主啊，这些是甚么？”那与我说话的天使对我说：“我会指示你这些是甚么。”
10 那站在番石榴树中间的人回答：“这些就是耶和华所差遣在遍地巡逻的。”
11 那些骑士回报那站在番石榴树中间的耶和华使者，说：“我们已经在遍地巡逻；看见全地都安定，一片平静。”
12 于是耶和华的使者说：“万军之耶和华啊！你不怜悯耶路撒冷和犹大的城镇，要到几时呢？这七十年来，你一直恼怒它们。” 13 耶和华就用满有恩慈和安慰的话回答那与我说话的天使。
14 那与我说话的天使对我说：“你要宣告：‘万军之耶和华这样说：我为耶路撒冷和锡安心里充满嫉恨。 15 我向那些安逸的列国大大恼怒，因为我只是稍微恼怒我的子民，他们却加深他们的祸害。 16 因此，耶和华这样说：我要怀着怜悯的心回到耶路撒冷，我的殿必在城中重建（这是万军之耶和华的宣告）。绳子必拉在耶路撒冷之上。’ 17 你要再宣告：‘万军之耶和华这样说：我的城镇必再昌盛繁荣，耶和华必再怜悯锡安，必再拣选耶路撒冷。’”

18 我又举目观看，看见有四个角。 19 于是我问那与我说话的天使：“这些是甚么？”他对我说：“这些就是把犹大、以色列和耶路撒冷赶散的角。”
四工匠的异象
20 耶和华又使我看见四个匠人。 21 于是我说：“这些人来作甚么？”那天使回答：“他们就是把犹大赶散的角，以致没有一人可以抬起头来；但这些匠人要来惊吓列国，打掉他们的角；这些列国就是曾经举起他们的角攻击犹大地，把犹大地的人赶散的。”（本章第18~21节在《马索拉文本》为2:1~4）

The Lord Calls His People Back
1 In the eighth month [C October/November on our calendar; the Hebrew month of Cheshvan] of the second year Darius was king [C 520 bc; Darius was king of Persia 522–486 bc], the ·Lord spoke his word [L word of the Lord came] to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, who was the son of Iddo [C a priestly family; Neh. 12:4, 16]. The Lord said, 2 “The Lord was very angry with your ·ancestors [fathers]. 3 So tell the people: This is what the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says: ‘Return to me, and I will return to you,’ says the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts]. 4 Don’t be like your ·ancestors [fathers]. ·In the past the [The former/earlier] prophets said to them: This is what the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says: ‘·Stop [Turn from] your evil ways and evil actions.’ But they wouldn’t listen or pay attention to me, says the Lord. 5 Your ·ancestors [fathers] ·are dead [L where are they…?], and those prophets ·didn’t [L do they…?] live forever. 6 I commanded my words and ·laws [statutes] to my servants the prophets, and ·they preached to [or they came true to; L did they not overtake…?] your ·ancestors [fathers], who returned to me. They said, ‘The Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] did as he ·said he would [determined to do]. He punished us for ·the way we lived and for what we did [L our ways and deeds].’”
The Vision of the Horses
7 It was on the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month [C February 15, 519 bc], which is the month of Shebat, in Darius’s second year as king [v. 1]. The ·Lord spoke his word [L word of the Lord came] to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, who was the son of Iddo.
8 During the night I had a vision. I saw a man ·riding [or sitting on] a red horse. He was standing among some myrtle trees in a ravine, with red, brown, and white horses behind him [Rev. 6].
9 I asked, “What are these, ·sir [or my lord]?”
The ·angel [messenger] who was talking with me answered, “I’ll show you what they are.”
10 Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained, “They are the ones the Lord ·sent [L sent to walk/patrol] through all the earth.”
11 Then they spoke to the ·Lord’s angel [or angel of the Lord; C an OT figure closely identified with the Lord himself; Gen. 16:11; 22:11–12], who was standing among the myrtle trees. They said, “We have ·gone [walked; patrolled] through all the earth, and [L look; T behold] everything is calm and quiet.”
12 Then the ·Lord’s angel [angel of the Lord; v. 11] asked, “Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts], how long will ·it be before you show [L you withhold] mercy to Jerusalem and the cities of Judah? You have been angry with them for seventy years now.” 13 So the Lord answered the ·angel [messenger] who was talking with me, and his words were comforting and good.
14 Then the ·angel [messenger] who was talking to me said to me, “Announce this: This is what the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says: ‘I ·have a strong love [am very jealous/zealous; Nah. 1:2] for Jerusalem. 15 And I am very angry with the nations that feel so ·safe [secure; at ease]. I was only a little angry at them, but they ·made things worse [added to/increased the calamity/disaster].’
16 “So this is what the Lord says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy. My ·Temple [L house] will be rebuilt,’ says the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts], ‘and the measuring line will be ·used to rebuild [L stretched out over] Jerusalem.’
17 “Also announce: This is what the Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] says: ‘My towns will ·be rich again [L overflow with prosperity]. The Lord will comfort Jerusalem again, and I will again choose Jerusalem.’”
The Vision of the Horns
18 Then I looked up and saw four ·animal horns [L horns; C animal horns symbolized strength]. 19 I asked the ·angel [messenger] who was talking with me, “What are these?”
He said, “These are the horns that scattered the people of Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”
20 Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. 21 I asked, “What are they coming to do?”
He answered, “They have come to ·scare [terrify] and throw down the horns. These horns scattered the people of Judah so that no one could even lift up his head. These horns stand for the nations that ·attacked [L lifted up their horns against] the people of Judah and scattered them.”
Zacarías 1
Palabra de Dios para Todos
Llamamiento del Señor a su pueblo
1 El profeta Zacarías, hijo de Berequías y nieto de Idó, recibió un mensaje del SEÑOR en el mes octavo del segundo año[a] del reinado de Darío de Persia:
2 «El SEÑOR se enojó con sus antepasados, 3 así que dile al pueblo: “El SEÑOR Todopoderoso dice: Vuelvan a mí, dice el SEÑOR Todopoderoso, y yo volveré a ustedes”. Lo dice el SEÑOR Todopoderoso. 4 No sean como sus antepasados, a quienes los profetas de entonces dieron el mensaje del SEÑOR Todopoderoso de que se alejaran de la mala vida que llevaban y dejaran de hacer el mal. Sin embargo, ellos no me escucharon ni me prestaron atención, dice el SEÑOR.
5 »¿Dónde están sus antepasados? ¿Es que acaso los profetas vivieron eternamente? 6 Mis advertencias y decisiones que les ordené a mis siervos los profetas, ¿acaso no llegaron hasta sus antepasados? Así que ellos cambiaron y dijeron: “Tal como el SEÑOR Todopoderoso lo había planeado, él decidió tratarnos de acuerdo con nuestras obras y nos castigó por el mal que hicimos”».
Los cuatro caballos
7 El día 24 del undécimo mes, o mes de sebat, durante el segundo año del reinado de Darío, el profeta Zacarías, hijo de Berequías y nieto de Idó, recibió este otro mensaje del SEÑOR:
8 Por la noche tuve una visión. Vi entre unos arrayanes a un jinete en un caballo rojo. Detrás de él había otros caballos de color rojo, castaño y blanco. 9 Le pregunté:
—¿Qué significado tienen estos caballos, señor?
El ángel que me hablaba me dijo:
—Te enseñaré el significado.
10 Entonces el jinete del caballo entre los arrayanes respondió:
—Los caballos han sido enviados por el SEÑOR para que recorran la tierra.
11 Luego, los jinetes le dijeron al ángel del SEÑOR que estaba entre los arrayanes:
—Hemos estado recorriendo la tierra y está toda tranquila y en paz.
12 Entonces el ángel del SEÑOR dijo:
—SEÑOR Todopoderoso, ¿cuándo tendrás compasión por Jerusalén y las ciudades de Judá? Has estado enojado con ellas durante los últimos 70 años.
13 El SEÑOR le respondió al ángel que me hablaba con palabras de aliento y de consuelo. 14 Fue entonces cuando el ángel me dijo que anunciara lo siguiente. Esto dice el SEÑOR Todopoderoso:
«Estoy conmovido por Jerusalén y Sion,
15 pero estoy muy enojado con las naciones
que se sienten tan seguras.
Con Israel me enojé sólo un poco
y por eso usé a esas naciones
para que le dieran su castigo.
Pero esas naciones le causaron
demasiado sufrimiento a mi pueblo».
16 Debido a eso el SEÑOR dice:
«Regresaré a Jerusalén
y le mostraré mi compasión.
Jerusalén será reconstruida,
y mi casa será edificada allí,
dice el SEÑOR Todopoderoso».
17 El ángel también me dijo que anunciara esto: El SEÑOR Todopoderoso dice:
«Mis ciudades serán ricas de nuevo.
El SEÑOR consolará a Sion,
y elegirá de nuevo a Jerusalén».
Los cuatro cuernos y los cuatro herreros
18 Luego levanté la mirada y vi cuatro cuernos. 19 Entonces pregunté al ángel que hablaba conmigo:
—¿Qué significan estos cuernos?
Él me dijo:
—Estos cuernos representan las naciones que desterraron a tierras lejanas a los habitantes de Judá, Israel y Jerusalén.
20 Después de eso el SEÑOR me mostró cuatro herreros. 21 Yo pregunté:
—¿Qué trabajo vienen a hacer estos hombres?
Él respondió:
—Los cuernos representan las naciones que desterraron al pueblo de Judá, hasta el extremo de que nadie podía levantar la cabeza. Estos herreros vienen a aterrorizar a esas naciones. Van a destruir y a desterrar las naciones que se levantaron contra Israel y desterraron su gente a tierras lejanas.
