19 有人告訴約押：“看哪！王正在為押沙龍悲哀哭泣。”（本節在《馬索拉文本》為19:2） 2 那一天，眾人勝利的歡樂變成了悲哀，因為他們聽說王為他的兒子傷痛。 3 那一天，眾人偷偷進城，就像軍人從戰場上逃跑，羞愧地偷偷回來一樣。

New International Version
19 [a]Joab was told, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.” 2 And for the whole army the victory that day was turned into mourning, because on that day the troops heard it said, “The king is grieving for his son.” 3 The men stole into the city that day as men steal in who are ashamed when they flee from battle.
