4 于是以色列所有的长老都集合起来，到拉玛去见撒母耳， 5 对他说：“你老了，看哪，你的儿子不行你的道路，现在求你为我们立一个王治理我们，好象列国一样。” 6 他们说“求你为我们立一个王治理我们”这件事，使撒母耳很不高兴，他就祷告耶和华。

4 So all the elders(A) of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah.(B) 5 They said to him, “You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king(C) to lead[a](D) us, such as all the other nations(E) have.”
6 But when they said, “Give us a king(F) to lead us,” this displeased(G) Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord.
