⁸ He raises^(A) the poor^(B) from the dust^(C)
    and lifts the needy^(D) from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes
    and has them inherit a throne of honor.^(E)

“For the foundations^(F) of the earth are the Lord’s;
    on them he has set the world.
⁹ He will guard the feet^(G) of his faithful servants,^(H)
    but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.^(I)

“It is not by strength^(J) that one prevails;
¹⁰     those who oppose the Lord will be broken.^(K)
The Most High will thunder^(L) from heaven;
    the Lord will judge^(M) the ends of the earth.

“He will give strength^(N) to his king
    and exalt the horn^(O) of his anointed.”
