14 大衛派使者到掃羅的兒子伊施‧波設那裏，說：「你要把我的妻子米甲歸還我；她是我從前用一百非利士人的包皮所聘定的。」 15 伊施‧波設就派人去，把米甲從拉億的兒子，她丈夫帕鐵[a]那裏帶來。 16 米甲的丈夫跟着她，一面走一面哭，直跟到巴戶琳。押尼珥對他說：「你回去吧！」帕鐵就回去了。

14 Then David sent messengers to Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, demanding, “Give me my wife Michal,(A) whom I betrothed to myself for the price of a hundred Philistine foreskins.”
15 So Ish-Bosheth gave orders and had her taken away from her husband(B) Paltiel(C) son of Laish. 16 Her husband, however, went with her, weeping behind her all the way to Bahurim.(D) Then Abner said to him, “Go back home!” So he went back.
