祈求主的道快快傳開

3 最後，弟兄們，請為我們禱告，好叫主的道也像在你們那裡一樣快快傳開，得著榮耀， ²也使我們能夠脫離那些不講理的惡人，因為不是人人都有信心。 ³主是信實的，他必堅定你們，保護你們脫離那惡者。 ⁴我們靠著主深深相信，你們現在以及將來都會遵行我們所吩咐的， ⁵願主引導你們的心，使你們有　神的愛和基督的堅忍。

不可游手好閒

⁶弟兄們，我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡是游手好閒的弟兄，不按著你們從我們所領受的教訓去行，就應當遠離他。 ⁷你們自己本來就知道應當怎樣效法我們，因為我們在你們中間並沒有游手好閒， ⁸也沒有白吃過誰的飯，反而辛苦勞碌，晝夜作工，免得加重你們任何一人的負擔。 ⁹這不是因為我們沒有權利，而是要給你們作榜樣，好讓你們效法我們。 ¹⁰我們在你們那裡的時候，曾經吩咐過你們，如果有人不肯作工，就不可吃飯。 ¹¹因為我們聽說，你們中間有人游手好閒，甚麼工也不作，反倒專管閒事。 ¹²我們靠著主耶穌基督，吩咐勸戒這樣的人，要安靜作工，自食其力。 ¹³弟兄們，你們行善不可灰心。 ¹⁴如果有人不聽從我們這封信上的訓勉，要把這個人記下來，不可和他來往，好叫他自己覺得慚愧。 ¹⁵但不要把他看作仇敵，卻要勸他好像勸弟兄一樣。

¹⁶願賜平安的主親自隨時隨地賜平安給你們。願主與你們眾人同在。

¹⁷我保羅親筆問候你們。這是我每一封信的記號；我的筆跡就是這樣。 ¹⁸願我們主耶穌基督的恩惠與你們眾人同在。

2 Thessalonians 3

Pray for Us

3 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the Lord’s message may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you,^(A) ²and that we may be delivered^(B) from wicked and evil men, for not all have faith.^[a] ³But the Lord is faithful; He will strengthen and guard you from the evil one.^(C) ⁴We have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do what we command. ⁵May the Lord direct your hearts to God’s love and Christ’s endurance.^(D)

Warning against Irresponsible Behavior

⁶Now we command you, brothers, in the name^(E) of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother^(F) who walks irresponsibly and not according to the tradition^(G) received^(H) from us. ⁷For you yourselves know how you must imitate^(I) us: We were not irresponsible among you; ⁸we did not eat^(J) anyone’s food^[b] free of charge;^(K) instead, we labored^(L) and struggled,^(M) working^(N) night and day, so that we would not be a burden^(O) to any of you. ⁹It is not that we don’t have the right^(P) to support, but we did it to make ourselves an example to you so that you would imitate^(Q) us. ¹⁰In fact, when we were with you, this is what we commanded you: “If anyone isn’t willing to work, he should not eat.”^(R) ¹¹For we hear that there are some among you who walk irresponsibly, not working at all, but interfering with the work of others.^(S) ¹²Now we command and exhort such people by the Lord Jesus Christ that quietly working, they may eat their own food.^[c] ¹³Brothers, do not grow weary^(T) in doing good.

¹⁴And if anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take note of that person; don’t associate with him, so that he may be ashamed. ¹⁵Yet don’t treat him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

Final Greetings

¹⁶May the Lord of peace^(U) Himself give you peace always in every way.^(V) The Lord be with all of you.^(W) ¹⁷This greeting is in my own hand^(X)—Paul. This is a sign in every letter; this is how I write. ¹⁸The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
