1 保罗、西拉和提摩太写信给帖撒罗尼迦、在我们的父　神与主耶稣基督里的教会。 ²愿恩惠、平安^[a]从我们的^[b]父　神和主耶稣基督归给你们！

基督再来时的审判

³弟兄们，我们该常常为你们感谢　神，这本是合宜的；因为你们的信心格外增长，你们众人彼此相爱的心也都增加。 ⁴所以，我们在　神的各教会里为你们夸耀，因为你们在所受的一切压迫患难中仍牢守着耐心和信心。

⁵这正是　神公义判断的明证，使你们配得上他的国，你们就是为这国受苦。 ⁶既然　神是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人， ^7-8也必使你们这受患难的人与我们同得平安。那时，主耶稣同他有权能的天使从天上在火焰中显现，要报应那些不认识　神和不听从我们的主耶稣福音的人。 ⁹他们要受惩罚，永远沉沦，与主的面和他权能的荣光隔绝。 ¹⁰这正是主再来，要在他圣徒的身上得荣耀，就是要使一切信的人感到惊讶的那日子，因为你们信了我们对你们作的见证。 ¹¹为此，我们常为你们祷告，愿我们的　神看你们与他的呼召相配，又用大能成就你们一切良善的美意和因信心所做的工作， ¹²使我们主耶稣的名，照着我们的　神和主耶稣基督的恩，在你们身上得荣耀，你们也在他身上得荣耀。

²願我們的父上帝和主耶穌基督賜給你們恩典和平安！

感恩與勸勉

³弟兄姊妹，我們應當為你們常常感謝上帝，這是合宜的，因為你們的信心不斷增長，彼此相愛的心也不斷增加。 ⁴因此，我們在上帝的眾教會中誇獎你們在各種迫害和患難中的堅忍和信心。 ⁵你們這種表現正是上帝公義審判的明證，使你們配進上帝的國，你們正在為這國受苦。

⁶上帝是公義的，祂必以患難來報應那些迫害你們的人。 ⁷當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰， ⁸懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。 ⁹那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。 ¹⁰主降臨的那日，祂要在祂的眾聖徒中得到榮耀，使所有的信徒驚歎不已。你們也會在當中，因為你們相信了我們做的見證。

2 Thessalonians 1

1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

²Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

³We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

⁴So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

⁵Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

⁶Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

⁷And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

⁸In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

⁹Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

¹⁰When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

¹¹Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

¹²That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s Final Judgment and Glory
