1 保罗、赛拉斯、提摩太，
致那在神我们的父和主耶稣基督里的帖撒罗尼迦人的教会：
2 愿恩典与平安从神我们的父和主耶稣基督临到你们！
主的报偿
3 弟兄们，我们应该为你们常常感谢神，这样做是合宜的，因为你们的信仰格外增长，你们大家每一个人彼此的爱也在增加。 4 所以，我们自己在神的各教会中以你们夸耀，因为你们在一切的逼迫和患难中保持着你们的忍耐和信仰。 5 这正是神公义审判的证据，好使你们算是配得上神的国；你们也正是为此而受苦害的。 6 神既然真是公义的，当主耶稣与他有大能的天使们一起从天上显现的时候，他就要以患难回报那些加患难给你们的人， 7 也要使你们这些受患难的人与我们一同得到安息[a]。 8 神要在烈火中报应那些不认识神的人，以及那些不顺从我们主耶稣[b]福音的人； 9 他们将受到刑罚，就是永远的灭亡，从主面前被隔绝，离开他权能的荣耀。 10 在那日，主来临的时候，要藉着他的圣徒得着荣耀，又藉着所有的信徒令人惊奇——因为你们相信了我们对你们所做的见证。 11 为此，我们也常常为你们祷告：愿我们的神把你们看为配得他的召唤，并且以他的大能成全你们一切美好的心愿和一切信仰的行为， 12 好使我们主耶稣[c]的名，照着我们的神和主耶稣基督的恩典，因你们得着荣耀，你们也因他得着荣耀。

1 我保羅同西拉和提摩太寫信給帖撒羅尼迦屬於我們父上帝和主耶穌基督的教會。
2 願我們的父上帝和主耶穌基督賜給你們恩典和平安！
感恩與勸勉
3 弟兄姊妹，我們應當為你們常常感謝上帝，這是合宜的，因為你們的信心不斷增長，彼此相愛的心也不斷增加。 4 因此，我們在上帝的眾教會中誇獎你們在各種迫害和患難中的堅忍和信心。 5 你們這種表現正是上帝公義審判的明證，使你們配進上帝的國，你們正在為這國受苦。
6 上帝是公義的，祂必以患難來報應那些迫害你們的人。 7 當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰， 8 懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。 9 那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。 10 主降臨的那日，祂要在祂的眾聖徒中得到榮耀，使所有的信徒驚歎不已。你們也會在當中，因為你們相信了我們做的見證。
11 因此，我們常常為你們禱告，願我們的上帝看你們配得祂的呼召，用大能成全你們一切美好的心願和憑信心所做的工作。 12 這樣，按照我們的上帝和主耶穌基督所賜的恩典，主耶穌基督的名便在你們身上得到榮耀，你們也在祂身上得到榮耀。
2 Thessalonians 1
King James Version
1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
