聖子的本質
1 過去，神在不同的時代，用不同的方式，藉著先知們對祖先說話， 2 但在末後的這些日子裡[a]，神藉著他的[b]兒子向我們說話。神預定了他為萬有的繼承人，也藉著他造了宇宙[c]。 3 他是神榮耀的光輝，是神本體的真像，以自己大能的話語托住萬有。他成就了潔淨罪孽的事[d]，就坐在高天至尊者的右邊。 4 他遠比天使更美好，就像他所繼承的名比天使的名更尊貴。
聖子高過天使
5 從前神到底對哪一位天使說過「你是我的兒子，我今天生了你」[e]，又說「我將成為他的父親，他成為我的兒子」[f]呢？ 6 不過當神再次帶領長子[g]進入世界的時候卻說：「神所有的天使都當敬拜他。」[h] 7 關於天使，他確實說：
「神使他的天使為風，
使他的僕役為烈火。」[i]
8 但是關於兒子，他卻說：
10 他又說：
「主啊，你在起初立定了大地的根基，
諸天也是你手所造的。
11 天地[l]將要毀滅，你卻繼續存留；
天地都要像衣服那樣漸漸破舊。
12 你將要把天地像外衣那樣捲起來，
天地也要像衣服那樣[m]被更換；
你卻永不改變，
你的歲月沒有窮盡。」[n]
13 從前神到底對哪一位天使說過
：「你坐在我的右邊，
等我把你的敵人放在你的腳下做腳凳」[o]呢？
14 難道所有的天使不都是服事的靈、奉差派服事那些將要繼承救恩的人嗎？

上帝通过他儿子讲的话
1 过去，上帝曾多次用多种不同的方式，通过先知对我们的祖先讲话。 2 在这些最后的日子里，他又通过他的儿子向我们讲话，指定了这个儿子做为一切的继承人，并且通过这个儿子创造了世界。 3 他是上帝荣耀的闪光，他的本性与上帝的一样，他用强有力的话语维系万物。当他清除了人类的罪孽之后，在天堂便坐到上帝的右侧， 4 就像他继承的名字比天使的名字更伟大一样，他高于所有的天使。
5 上帝不曾对任何一个天使说过：
“你是我的儿子，
今天，我成了你的父亲。” (A)
他也不曾对任何一个天使说过：
“我将是他的父亲，
他将是我的儿子。” (B)
6 当上帝让他的长子来到这个世界上时，他说：
“愿上帝所有的天使都崇拜他。” (C)
7 关于天使，上帝说道：
8 但是关于圣子，他说道：
“上帝啊，你的宝座，将永存。
你将用正义的裁判统治你的王国。
9 你始终酷爱正义，
憎恨邪恶，
因此上帝、你的上帝赐给你的喜悦，
远远超过了赐给你的同伴的。” (E)
10 他还说道：
“主啊，在创世之初，
你奠定了大地的基石。
诸天是你亲手创造的。
11 即使天地消失了，
你依然存在：
天地会像衣服一样将变得陈旧，
12 你会像卷起一件衣服一样把天地卷起来，
像换一件衣服一样更换它们。
然而你却依然如故。
你的岁月永不终止。” (F)
13 对哪个天使他曾说过以下的话呢？
“坐在我的右边，
直到我把你的敌人变成你的脚凳。” (G)
14 天使岂不都是执行神圣职务的圣灵吗？他们不就是被派来帮助那些将要继承拯救的人们的吗？

God’s Final Word: His Son
1 In the past God spoke(A) to our ancestors through the prophets(B) at many times and in various ways,(C) 2 but in these last days(D) he has spoken to us by his Son,(E) whom he appointed heir(F) of all things, and through whom(G) also he made the universe.(H) 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory(I) and the exact representation of his being,(J) sustaining all things(K) by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins,(L) he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.(M) 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.(N)
The Son Superior to Angels
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say,
Or again,
6 And again, when God brings his firstborn(Q) into the world,(R) he says,
7 In speaking of the angels he says,
8 But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;(U)
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions(V)
by anointing you with the oil(W) of joy.”[e](X)
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.(Y)
11 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.(Z)
12 You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,(AA)
and your years will never end.”[f](AB)
13 To which of the angels did God ever say,
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits(AF) sent to serve those who will inherit(AG) salvation?(AH)

Dios ha hablado por su Hijo
1 Dios, habiendo hablado muchas veces y de muchas maneras en otro tiempo a los padres por los profetas, 2 en estos postreros días nos ha hablado por el Hijo, a quien constituyó heredero de todo, y por quien asimismo hizo el universo; 3 el cual, siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la imagen misma de su sustancia, y quien sustenta todas las cosas con la palabra de su poder, habiendo efectuado la purificación de nuestros pecados por medio de sí mismo, se sentó a la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas, 4 hecho tanto superior a los ángeles, cuanto heredó más excelente nombre que ellos.

5 Porque ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás:
Mi Hijo eres tú,
Yo te he engendrado hoy,(A)
y otra vez:
Yo seré a él Padre,
Y él me será a mí hijo?(B)
6 Y otra vez, cuando introduce al Primogénito en el mundo, dice:
Adórenle todos los ángeles de Dios.(C)
7 Ciertamente de los ángeles dice:
El que hace a sus ángeles espíritus,
Y a sus ministros llama de fuego.(D)
8 Mas del Hijo dice:
Tu trono, oh Dios, por el siglo del siglo;
Cetro de equidad es el cetro de tu reino.
9 Has amado la justicia, y aborrecido la maldad,
Por lo cual te ungió Dios, el Dios tuyo,
Con óleo de alegría más que a tus compañeros.(E)
10 Y:
Tú, oh Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra,
Y los cielos son obra de tus manos.
11 Ellos perecerán, mas tú permaneces;
Y todos ellos se envejecerán como una vestidura,
12 Y como un vestido los envolverás, y serán mudados;
Pero tú eres el mismo,
Y tus años no acabarán.(F)
13 Pues, ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás:
Siéntate a mi diestra,
Hasta que ponga a tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?(G)
14 ¿No son todos espíritus ministradores, enviados para servicio a favor de los que serán herederos de la salvación?
