劃時代的啟示
1 在古代，上帝曾藉著先知以各種方式多次向我們的祖先說話； 2 在這世界的末期，祂又藉著自己的兒子親自向我們說話。上帝早已立祂承受萬物，並藉著祂創造了宇宙萬物。 3 祂正是上帝榮耀的光輝，是上帝本體的真像。祂用自己充滿能力的話語維繫萬物。祂洗淨了世人的罪之後，便坐在天上至高上帝的右邊。 4 祂既承受了比天使更高的名分，就遠超越天使。
5 上帝從未對任何一個天使說：
「你是我的兒子，我今日成為你父親。」
或說：
「我要作你的父親，你要作我的兒子。」
6 上帝差遣祂的長子到世上來時，說：
「上帝的天使都要敬拜祂。」
7 上帝提到天使的時候，也只是說：
「上帝使祂的天使成為風，使祂的僕役成為火焰。」
8 但論到祂的兒子，祂卻說：
「上帝啊，你的寶座永遠長存，
你以公義的杖執掌王權。
9 你喜愛公義，憎惡邪惡。
所以上帝，你的上帝，
用喜樂之油膏你，使你超過同伴。」
10 此外又說：
「主啊，太初你奠立大地的根基，
親手創造諸天。
11 天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。
天地都會像衣服漸漸破舊，
12 你要像捲外衣一樣把天地捲起來。
天地將如衣服一樣被更換，
但你永遠不變，
你的年日永無窮盡。」
13 上帝從未對任何一個天使說：
「你坐在我的右邊，
等我使你的仇敵成為你的腳凳。」
14 天使豈不都是服役的靈嗎？他們奉差遣，豈不是去為那些將要承受救恩的人服務嗎？

தேவன் தன் குமாரன் மூலமாகப் பேசியிருக்கிறார்
1 கடந்த காலத்தில் தேவன், தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் மூலம் நமது மக்களிடம் பேசியிருக்கிறார். அவர், பல வேறுபட்ட வழிகளிலும் பல சமயங்களிலும் பேசினார். 2 இப்போது இந்த இறுதி நாட்களில் மீண்டும் தேவன் நம்மோடு பேசியிருக்கிறார். அவர் தன் குமாரன் மூலம் நம்மோடு பேசி இருக்கிறார். அவர் தன் குமாரன் மூலமாக இந்த முழு உலகையும் படைத்தார். எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் உரிமையாளராக தேவன் தன் குமாரனைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறார். 3 அந்தக் குமாரன் தேவனுடைய மகிமையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். தேவனுடைய தன்மையை முழுவதுமாக வெளிக்காட்டும் உருவமாக அவர் இருக்கிறார். அவர் தனது வலிமைமிக்க கட்டளைகளினால் ஒவ்வொன்றையும் ஒருங்கிணைத்து வைத்திருக்கிறார். குமாரனானவர் மக்களைப் பாவங்களிலிருந்து பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தினார். பிறகு அவர் தேவனுடைய வலது பக்கத்தில் பரலோகத்தில் அமர்ந்தார். 4 அவர் தேவதூதர்களைவிட மிகச் சிறந்த பெயரை தேவனிடமிருந்து பெற்றார். அவர் தேவதூதர்களை விட மிகவும் சிறப்புக்குரியவரானார்.
5 கீழ்க்கண்டவற்றை தேவன் ஒருபோதும் தேவதூதர்களிடம் சொன்னதில்லை,
“நீர் எனது குமாரன்,
இன்று நான் உமக்குப் பிதா ஆனேன்.”(A)
அதோடு எந்த தேவதூதனிடமும் தேவன் இவ்வாறு சொன்னதில்லை,
“நான் அவரது பிதாவாக இருப்பேன்.
அவர் எனது குமாரனாக இருப்பார்.”(B)
6 மேலும் தனது முதற்பேறான குமாரனை பூமிக்கு அனுப்புகிறபோது,
“தேவதூதர்கள் எல்லோரும் அந்தக் குமாரனைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளக்கடவர்கள்”[a]
என்று கூறினார்.
7 தேவன் தேவதூதர்களைப் பற்றிக் கூறும்போது,
“தேவன் தன் தேவதூதர்களைக் காற்றைப் போன்றும் தன் ஊழியர்களை நெருப்பு
ஜூவாலைகளைப் போன்றும் செய்கிறார்”(C)
எனக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.
8 ஆனால் தேவன் தம் குமாரனைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லும்போது,
“தேவனே! உமது சிம்மாசனம் என்றென்றைக்கும் உள்ளது.
சரியான தீர்ப்புகளால் உமது இராஜ்யத்தை நீர் ஆள்வீர்.
9 நீர் நீதியை விரும்புகிறீர். அநீதியை வெறுக்கின்றீர்.
ஆகையால் தேவனே, உமது தேவன் உம்மோடு இருப்பவர்களுக்குக்
கொடுத்ததைக் காட்டிலும் பெருமகிழ்ச்சியை உமக்குத் தந்திருக்கிறார்.”(D)
10 மேலும் தேவன்,
“கர்த்தாவே, ஆரம்பத்தில் நீர் பூமியைப் படைத்தீர்.
மேலும் உமது கைகள் ஆகாயத்தைப் படைத்தன.
11 இவை மறைந்து போகலாம். ஆனால் நீரோ நிலைத்திருப்பீர்.
ஆடைகளைப் போன்று அனைத்தும் பழசாகிப் போகும்.
12 நீர் அவற்றை ஒரு சால்வையைப் போல மடித்துவிடுவீர்.
அவை ஓர் ஆடையைப் போன்று மாறும்.
ஆனால் நீரோ மாறவேமாட்டீர்.
உமது ஜீவன் ஒருபோதும் அழியாது”(E)
என்றும் கூறுகிறார்.
13 தேவன் எந்த தேவ தூதனிடமும்,
“உமது பகைவர்களை உம்முடைய அதிகாரத்துக்குக் கீழ்க்கொண்டு வரும்வரை
எனது வலது பக்கத்தில் உட்காரும்”(F)
என்று என்றைக்கும் சொன்னதில்லை.
14 தேவதூதர்கள் எல்லாரும், தேவனுக்கு சேவை செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிற ஆவிகள் ஆவார்கள். இரட்சிப்பைப் பெறப் போகிறவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யும் பொருட்டு அவர்கள் அனுப்பப்படுகிறார்கள்.

God’s Final Word: His Son
1 In the past God spoke(A) to our ancestors through the prophets(B) at many times and in various ways,(C) 2 but in these last days(D) he has spoken to us by his Son,(E) whom he appointed heir(F) of all things, and through whom(G) also he made the universe.(H) 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory(I) and the exact representation of his being,(J) sustaining all things(K) by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins,(L) he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.(M) 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.(N)
The Son Superior to Angels
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say,
Or again,
6 And again, when God brings his firstborn(Q) into the world,(R) he says,
7 In speaking of the angels he says,
8 But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;(U)
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions(V)
by anointing you with the oil(W) of joy.”[e](X)
10 He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.(Y)
11 They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.(Z)
12 You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,(AA)
and your years will never end.”[f](AB)
13 To which of the angels did God ever say,
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits(AF) sent to serve those who will inherit(AG) salvation?(AH)

1 Long ago, at various times and in diverse ways, God spoke to our fathers by the Prophets. In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son,
2 Whom He has made heir of all things. Through Whom He also made the world.
3 He, being the brightness of the Glory and the engraved form of His person and bearing up all things by His mighty Word, has purged our sins through Himself. And He sits at the right hand of the Majesty in the Highest Places.
4 And He is made so much more excellent than the angels, inasmuch as He has obtained a more excellent Name than they.
5 For to which of the angels has He said at any time, “You are My Son. This day I begat You.”? And again, “I will be His Father, and He shall be My Son.”?
6 And again, when He brings in His first begotten Son into the world, He says, “And let all the angels of God worship Him.”
7 And of the angels, He says, “He makes the spirits His messengers, and His ministers a flame of fire.”
8 But to the Son, He says, “O God, Your throne is forever and ever. The scepter of Your Kingdom is a scepter of righteousness.
9 “You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Therefore God - even Your God - has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your associates.”10 And, “You, Lord, established the Earth in the beginning. And the heavens are the works of Your hands.
11 “They shall perish, but You remain. And they all shall grow old, as does a garment.
12 “And as a cloak, You shall fold them up. And they shall be changed. But You are the same. And Your years shall not fail.”
13 Also, to which of the angels has He said at any time, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for the sakes of those who shall be heirs of salvation?
