31 然而，你大施憐憫，沒有完全毀滅他們，也沒有離棄他們，因為你是有恩典和憐憫的上帝。
32 「因此，我們的上帝啊，你是偉大、全能、可畏、守約、施慈愛的上帝，求你不要輕看我們的王、首領、祭司、先知、祖先和你的子民從亞述諸王時代直到今天所受的苦難。 33 在這臨到我們的一切事上，你都是公義的，因為你行事信實，我們行事邪惡。

New International Version
31 But in your great mercy you did not put an end(A) to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful(B) God.
32 “Now therefore, our God, the great God, mighty(C) and awesome,(D) who keeps his covenant of love,(E) do not let all this hardship seem trifling in your eyes—the hardship(F) that has come on us, on our kings and leaders, on our priests and prophets, on our ancestors and all your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until today. 33 In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous;(G) you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly.(H)
