4 所以，我們既然得了這服事的工作，正如我們蒙了憐憫，我們就不喪膽； 2 相反，把那些可恥的隱祕之事棄絕了；不以詭詐行事，也不歪曲神的話語[a]；反而藉著顯明真理，在神面前把自己推薦給每個人的良心。

4 Therefore, since through God’s mercy(A) we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.(B) 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways;(C) we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God.(D) On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience(E) in the sight of God.
