5 实际上，我们不是传扬自己，而是传扬主耶稣基督[a]，并且为了耶稣的缘故，我们自己做了你们的奴仆； 6 因为那吩咐“要有光从黑暗里照耀出来”的神，已经照耀了我们的心，为要发出神荣耀的知识之光——这光就在耶稣基督的脸上。

7 不过我们有这宝物在瓦器里，为要显明这极大的能力是出于神，不是出于我们。

5 For what we preach is not ourselves,(A) but Jesus Christ as Lord,(B) and ourselves as your servants(C) for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a](D) made his light shine in our hearts(E) to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.(F)
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay(G) to show that this all-surpassing power is from God(H) and not from us.
