愛之深責之切
2 我已經決定了，下次到你們那裡時不再使大家憂傷。 2 如果我使你們憂傷，那麼除了因我而憂傷的你們，還有誰能使我喜樂呢？ 3 我曾為這事寫信給你們，免得我到你們那裡時，那些本該使我喜樂的人反而使我憂傷。我也深信你們會以我的喜樂為你們的喜樂。

2 1 So I made up my mind that I would not make another painful visit to you.(A) 2 For if I grieve you,(B) who is left to make me glad but you whom I have grieved? 3 I wrote as I did,(C) so that when I came I would not be distressed(D) by those who should have made me rejoice. I had confidence(E) in all of you, that you would all share my joy.
