聖靈的恩賜

12 弟兄姊妹，談到聖靈的恩賜，我不希望你們無知。 ²你們知道，自己在信主前曾受到迷惑和引誘去拜不會說話的偶像。 ³因此我希望你們知道，一個被上帝的靈感動的人絕不會說「耶穌該受咒詛」；若不是受了聖靈的感動，沒有人會說「耶穌是主」。

⁴恩賜各有不同，但聖靈是同一位。 ⁵事奉各有不同，但主是同一位。 ⁶工作各有不同，但上帝是同一位，祂在眾人當中成就萬事。 ⁷聖靈給各人不同的恩賜為要使眾人得益處。 ⁸這人從聖靈領受智言，那人從聖靈領受知識； ⁹聖靈賜這人信心，賜那人醫病的恩賜； ¹⁰聖靈使這人能行神蹟，使那人能作先知講道；使這人能辨別諸靈，使那人能說方言^[a]，又使另一人能翻譯方言。 ¹¹這一切都是同一位聖靈所賜的，是祂按自己的旨意分別賜給各人的。

同屬一個身體

¹²這如同一個身體有許多肢體，肢體雖多，仍同屬一個身體。基督的身體也是這樣。 ¹³不論是猶太人或希臘人，是奴隸或自由人，我們都領受了同一位聖靈的洗禮，歸入了同一個身體，同飲一位聖靈。

¹⁴人的身體並非只有一個肢體，乃是由許多肢體組成的。 ¹⁵如果腳說：「我不是手，所以我不屬於身體。」難道腳就因此不屬於身體嗎？ ¹⁶如果耳朵說：「我不是眼睛，所以我不屬於身體。」難道耳朵就因此不屬於身體嗎？ ¹⁷如果整個身體是一隻眼睛，哪裡有聽覺呢？如果整個身體是一隻耳朵，哪裡有嗅覺呢？

¹⁸但事實上，上帝按自己的旨意將各個肢體安置在身體上了。 ¹⁹如果全身只有一個肢體，還會是身體嗎？ ²⁰如今肢體雖多，但身體只有一個。 ²¹眼睛不能對手說：「我不需要你。」頭也不能對腳說：「我不需要你。」

²²相反，看起來不太重要的肢體事實上是不可或缺的。 ²³我們認為身體上不體面的肢體，越要加以美化；不雅觀的肢體，越要精心呵護。 ²⁴我們身上體面的肢體用不著美化。上帝把身體的各肢體安排在一起，使那些不體面的肢體更體面， ²⁵這樣身體各肢體才可以彼此相顧，不會分門別類。 ²⁶如果身體某個肢體感到痛苦，全身也一同受苦。如果某個肢體得到榮耀，全身也一同喜樂。

²⁷你們正是基督身體的不同肢體。 ²⁸上帝在教會中設立的第一是使徒，第二是先知，第三是教師，其次是行神蹟的，然後是有醫病恩賜的，幫助別人的，管理事務的，說各種方言的。 ²⁹豈是都作使徒嗎？都作先知嗎？都作教師嗎？都行神蹟嗎？ ³⁰都有醫病的恩賜嗎？都懂得說方言嗎？都會翻譯方言嗎？ ³¹你們應該熱心追求更大的恩賜。

現在，我要將一條奇妙無比的道路指示你們！

12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

²Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

³Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

⁴Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

⁵And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

⁶And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

⁷But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

⁸For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

⁹To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

¹⁰To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

¹¹But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

¹²For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

¹³For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

¹⁴For the body is not one member, but many.

¹⁵If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

¹⁶And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

¹⁷If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

¹⁸But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

¹⁹And if they were all one member, where were the body?

²⁰But now are they many members, yet but one body.

²¹And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

²²Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

²³And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

²⁴For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

²⁵That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

²⁶And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

²⁷Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

²⁸And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

²⁹Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

³⁰Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

³¹But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Spiritual Gifts: Unity in Diversity

12 Now ^(A)concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: ²You know ^(B)that^[a] you were Gentiles, carried away to these ^(C)dumb^[b] idols, however you were led. ³Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus ^[c]accursed, and ^(D)no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

Unity and Diversity in One Body^(S)

¹²For ^(T)as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, ^(U)so also is Christ. ¹³For ^(V)by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—^(W)whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and ^(X)have all been made to drink ^[g]into one Spirit. ¹⁴For in fact the body is not one member but many.

¹⁵If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? ¹⁶And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? ¹⁷If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, ²⁵that there should be no ^[h]schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. ²⁶And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

²⁷Now ^(AA)you are the body of Christ, and ^(AB)members individually. ²⁸And ^(AC)God has appointed these in the church: first ^(AD)apostles, second ^(AE)prophets, third teachers, after that ^(AF)miracles, then ^(AG)gifts of healings, ^(AH)helps, ^(AI)administrations, varieties of tongues. ²⁹Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? ³⁰Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? ³¹But ^(AJ)earnestly desire the ^[i]best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.
