⁸这世代的那些统治者没有一个知道这智慧，因为他们如果知道，就不会把荣耀的主钉上十字架了。 ⁹然而正如经上所记：

“神为爱他的人所预备的，
是眼睛没有见过，耳朵没有听过，
人心也没有想过的。”^[a]

¹⁰但是神却藉着^[b]圣灵向我们启示了，因为圣灵洞察一切，甚至洞察神深奥的事。

New International Version

⁸None of the rulers of this age^(A) understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.^(B) ⁹However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”^[a]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—^(C)

¹⁰these are the things God has revealed^(D) to us by his Spirit.^(E)

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
