11 你们要效法我，正如我效法基督一样。
敬拜的礼仪
2 我赞赏你们，因为你们凡事都想到我，并坚守我传给你们的各种教导。
3 我希望你们知道，基督是男人的头，丈夫是妻子的头，上帝是基督的头。 4 男人在祷告和讲道时，若蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头。 5 但妇女在祷告和讲道时，若不蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头，因为她就像剃光了头发一样。 6 因此，如果妇女不愿意把头蒙起来，就该把头发剪掉。如果她觉得剪发或剃头是羞耻的，就应该蒙头。 7 然而，男人不该蒙头，因为男人是上帝的形象和荣耀，而女人是男人的荣耀。 8 因为男人并非出自女人，而女人却是出自男人。 9 并且男人不是为女人而造的，女人却是为男人而造的。
10 因此为了天使的缘故，女人在头上应该有服权柄的记号。 11 不过在主里面，女人不可没有男人，男人不可没有女人。 12 因为女人是从男人而来，男人又是女人生的，但万物都是来自上帝。
13 你们自行斟酌吧，女人向上帝祷告时不蒙头合适吗？ 14 按着人的天性，难道你们不知道男人留长发是他的羞辱， 15 女人留长发是她的荣耀吗？因为头发是用来给女人盖头的。 16 如果有谁想反驳这些话，我只能说，这是我们和上帝的众教会向来遵守的规矩。
守圣餐的规矩
17 现在我有话要吩咐你们，不是称赞你们，因为你们聚会不但无益，反而有害。 18 首先，我听说你们在聚会的时候拉帮结派，我相信这些话有几分真实。 19 你们中间必然会有分裂的事，好显出谁是经得起考验的。
20 你们聚会的时候，不是在吃主的晚餐。 21 因为你们进餐的时候，各人只顾吃自己的，结果有些人挨饿，有些人醉酒。 22 难道你们不可以在家里吃喝吗？还是你们轻看上帝的教会，存心羞辱那些贫穷的弟兄姊妹呢？我该说什么呢？称赞你们吗？不可能！
23 我把从主领受的传给了你们，就是：主耶稣被出卖的那天晚上，祂拿起一个饼来， 24 向上帝祝谢后掰开，说，“这是我的身体，是为你们掰开的，你们要这样做，为的是纪念我。” 25 晚餐后，祂又照样拿起杯来，说，“这杯是用我的血立的新约。你们每逢喝的时候，要这样做，为的是纪念我。” 26 所以，每当你们吃这饼、喝这杯的时候，就是宣告主的死，一直到主再来。
27 因此，无论是谁，若以不正确的心态吃主的饼、喝主的杯，就是得罪主的身体和主的血。 28 所以，人要先自我省察，才可以吃这饼喝这杯。 29 因为守圣餐的时候，若有人随便吃喝，忘记了这是主的身体，他就是自招审判。 30 正因如此，你们当中有许多人身体软弱，疾病缠身，死亡的也不少。 31 如果我们先自我省察，就不会遭受审判了。 32 主审判我们，是对我们的管教，免得我们和世人一同被定罪。
33 因此，我的弟兄姊妹，当你们吃圣餐时，要彼此等候。 34 如果有人饥饿，可以在家中先吃，免得你们聚会的时候自招审判。至于其余的事，等我到了以后再安排。

服从权威
2 我称赞你们，因为你们总是记得我，并且坚持我传给你们的教导。 3 但是，我要你们知道，基督是男人的头（权威），男人 [a]是女人的头，上帝是基督的头。 4 在公共场所蒙头祈祷或宣讲上帝的信息的男人，就给他的头带来了羞辱。 5 女人在公开场合祈祷或宣讲上帝的信息时，不蒙头就羞辱了她的头，她不蒙头就像一个被剃光头的女人一样。 6 女子不蒙头，就如同剃了光头。既然对女人来说剪掉头发或剃光头是可耻的，她就应该把头蒙起来。 7 男人不应该蒙头，因为他是上帝的形象和荣耀。然而女人是男人的荣耀。 8 因为男人不是从女人造的，女人是从男人造的。 9 男人不是为女人造的，而女人却是为男人造的。 10 因此，女人应该把头遮起来，表示她服从上帝赐给她的权威。为了天使她也应该这么做。
11 在主里，男女是互相依存、缺一不可的。 12 因为正如女人来自男人，男人则由女人所生，而一切又都源于上帝。 13 你们自己判别一下，女人在大庭广众之下不蒙头祈祷合适吗？ 14 自然本身教导你们，男人留长发不光彩。 15 但是，女人留长发却很荣耀，因为长发供给了她一个天然的遮盖。 16 有人可能还要对此而争论。但是，我们和上帝的教会不会接受那些人所做的。
主的晚餐
17 我下面要说的，是不称赞你们的话。因为你们的聚会对你们有损无益。 18 首先，我听说你们聚会时，有派别之争。我部分地相信这种说法。 19 （你们中间出现分歧是难免的，这样可以看清谁是谁非。） 20 你们聚会时，不是在真正地吃主的晚餐 [b]， 21 因为，你们只顾个吃个的，而不等别人。结果，有人吃不饱，有人却酒醉饭饱。 22 难道你们没有地方吃喝吗？还是你们要鄙视上帝的教会，并让穷人难堪呢？要我对你们说什么呢？让我称赞你们吗？在此方面，我不称赞你们。
23 我给你们的教导是我从主那里领受来的。主耶稣在被出卖的那天晚上，拿起一块饼， 24 谢恩后，他掰开饼，说∶“这是我的身体，是为你们牺牲的，吃了它，为的是纪念我。” 25 用过晚餐后，他又端起一杯酒 [c]说∶“这杯酒代表上帝对他子民的新契约，当我为你们牺牲热血时，新契约便开始了。每当你们喝它时，就是在纪念我。” 26 因此直到主的再来，每当你们吃这饼，喝这杯酒时，就是在宣告主的死。
27 因此不论是谁用不适当的方式吃主的饼，喝主的酒，他都对主的身体和血在犯罪。 28 人应该首先省察自己，然后再吃这饼，喝这杯酒。 29 如果有人没有认识到主身体的意义，就吃这饼喝这酒，他就会给自己招来审判。 30 这就是为什么你们当中许多人体弱多病，还有很多人死去的原因。 31 但是，如果我们省察自己，我们就不会受到审判。 32 当主审判我们时，是主在管教我们，以免我们和世人一同被定罪。
33 因此，兄弟们，你们聚在一起吃饭时，要彼此等候。 34 如果有人的确很饿，应该在家里先吃，免得由于聚会而招致上帝的审判。关于其它问题，等我来时再解决。

2 Los elogio porque se acuerdan de mí en todo y retienen las enseñanzas,[a] tal como se las transmití.
3 Ahora bien, quiero que entiendan que Cristo es cabeza de todo hombre, mientras que el hombre es cabeza de la mujer y Dios es cabeza de Cristo. 4 Todo hombre que ora o profetiza con la cabeza cubierta[b] deshonra al que es su cabeza. 5 En cambio, toda mujer que ora o profetiza con la cabeza descubierta deshonra al que es su cabeza; es como si estuviera rasurada. 6 Si la mujer no se cubre la cabeza, que se corte también el cabello; pero si es vergonzoso para la mujer tener el pelo corto o la cabeza rasurada, que se la cubra. 7 El hombre no debe cubrirse la cabeza, ya que él es imagen y gloria de Dios, mientras que la mujer es gloria del hombre. 8 De hecho, el hombre no procede de la mujer, sino la mujer del hombre; 9 ni tampoco fue creado el hombre a causa de la mujer, sino la mujer a causa del hombre. 10 Por esta razón y a causa de los ángeles, la mujer debe llevar sobre la cabeza señal de autoridad.
11 Sin embargo, en el Señor, ni la mujer existe aparte del hombre ni el hombre aparte de la mujer. 12 Porque así como la mujer procede del hombre, también el hombre nace de la mujer; pero todo proviene de Dios. 13 Juzguen ustedes mismos: ¿Es apropiado que la mujer ore a Dios sin cubrirse la cabeza? 14 ¿No enseña el mismo orden natural de las cosas que es una vergüenza para el hombre dejarse crecer el cabello, 15 mientras que es una gloria para la mujer llevar cabello largo? Es que a ella se le ha dado su cabellera como velo. 16 Si alguien insiste en discutir este asunto, tenga en cuenta que nosotros no tenemos otra costumbre ni tampoco las iglesias de Dios.
La Cena del Señor(A)
17 Al darles las siguientes instrucciones, no puedo elogiarlos, ya que sus reuniones traen más perjuicio que beneficio. 18 En primer lugar, oigo decir que cuando se reúnen como iglesia hay divisiones entre ustedes, y hasta cierto punto lo creo. 19 Sin duda, tiene que haber divisiones entre ustedes, para que se demuestre quiénes cuentan con la aprobación de Dios. 20 De hecho, cuando se reúnen, ya no es para comer la Cena del Señor, 21 porque cada uno se adelanta a comer su propia cena, de manera que unos se quedan con hambre mientras otros se emborrachan. 22 ¿Acaso no tienen casas donde comer y beber? ¿O es que menosprecian a la iglesia de Dios y quieren avergonzar a los que no tienen nada? ¿Qué les diré? ¿Voy a elogiarlos por esto? ¡Claro que no!
23 Yo recibí del Señor lo mismo que les transmití a ustedes: Que el Señor Jesús, la noche en que fue traicionado, tomó pan 24 y, después de dar gracias, lo partió y dijo: «Esto es mi cuerpo, entregado por ustedes; hagan esto en memoria de mí». 25 De la misma manera, tomó la copa después de cenar y dijo: «Esta copa es el nuevo pacto en mi sangre; hagan esto cada vez que beban de ella en memoria de mí». 26 Porque cada vez que comen este pan y beben de esta copa, proclaman la muerte del Señor hasta que él venga.
27 Por lo tanto, cualquiera que coma el pan o beba de la copa del Señor de manera indigna será culpable de pecar contra el cuerpo y la sangre del Señor. 28 Así que cada uno debe examinarse a sí mismo antes de comer el pan y beber de la copa. 29 Porque el que come y bebe sin discernir el cuerpo[c] come y bebe su propia condena. 30 Por eso hay entre ustedes muchos débiles y enfermos, incluso varios han muerto.[d] 31 Si nos examináramos a nosotros mismos, no se nos juzgaría; 32 pero si nos juzga el Señor, nos disciplina para que no seamos condenados con el mundo.
33 Así que, hermanos míos, cuando se reúnan para comer, espérense unos a otros. 34 Si alguno tiene hambre, que coma en su casa, para que las reuniones de ustedes no resulten dignas de condenación.

11 1 And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.
Instructions for Public Worship
2 I am so glad that you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you are following the teachings I passed on to you. 3 But there is one thing I want you to know: The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.[a] 4 A man dishonors his head[b] if he covers his head while praying or prophesying. 5 But a woman dishonors her head[c] if she prays or prophesies without a covering on her head, for this is the same as shaving her head. 6 Yes, if she refuses to wear a head covering, she should cut off all her hair! But since it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or her head shaved, she should wear a covering.[d]
7 A man should not wear anything on his head when worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8 For the first man didn’t come from woman, but the first woman came from man. 9 And man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man. 10 For this reason, and because the angels are watching, a woman should wear a covering on her head to show she is under authority.[e]
11 But among the Lord’s people, women are not independent of men, and men are not independent of women. 12 For although the first woman came from man, every other man was born from a woman, and everything comes from God.
13 Judge for yourselves. Is it right for a woman to pray to God in public without covering her head? 14 Isn’t it obvious that it’s disgraceful for a man to have long hair? 15 And isn’t long hair a woman’s pride and joy? For it has been given to her as a covering. 16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no other custom than this, and neither do God’s other churches.
Order at the Lord’s Supper
17 But in the following instructions, I cannot praise you. For it sounds as if more harm than good is done when you meet together. 18 First, I hear that there are divisions among you when you meet as a church, and to some extent I believe it. 19 But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!
20 When you meet together, you are not really interested in the Lord’s Supper. 21 For some of you hurry to eat your own meal without sharing with others. As a result, some go hungry while others get drunk. 22 What? Don’t you have your own homes for eating and drinking? Or do you really want to disgrace God’s church and shame the poor? What am I supposed to say? Do you want me to praise you? Well, I certainly will not praise you for this!
23 For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread 24 and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you.[f] Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” 26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.
27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning against[g] the body and blood of the Lord. 28 That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking the cup. 29 For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ,[h] you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself. 30 That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died.
31 But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way. 32 Yet when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
33 So, my dear brothers and sisters,[i] when you gather for the Lord’s Supper, wait for each other. 34 If you are really hungry, eat at home so you won’t bring judgment upon yourselves when you meet together. I’ll give you instructions about the other matters after I arrive.
