得勝的羊羔配展開書卷
5 我看見那位坐在寶座上的，右手拿著書卷，這書卷的兩面都寫滿了字，用七個印封著。 2 我又看見一位大力的天使，大聲宣告說：“誰配展開那書卷，拆開它的封印呢？” 3 在天上、地上、地底下，沒有一個能夠展開書卷觀看的。 4 因為沒有人配展開觀看書卷，我就大哭。 5 長老中有一位對我說：“不要哭！看哪，那從猶大支派出來的獅子，大衛的根，他已經得勝了，他能夠展開那書卷，拆開它的七印。”
6 我又看見在寶座和四個活物中間，並且在眾長老中間，有羊羔站著，像是被殺過的。他有七角七眼，就是 神的七靈，奉差遣到全地去的。 7 羊羔走過去，從坐在寶座上那位的右手中取了書卷。 8 他拿了書卷之後，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羊羔面前，各拿著琴和盛滿了香的金爐，這香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。 9 他們唱著新歌，說：
“你配取書卷，配拆開封印，
因為你曾被殺，曾用你的血，
從各支派、各方言、各民族、各邦國，
把人買了來歸給 神，
10 使他們成為我們 神的國度和祭司，
他們要在地上執掌王權。”
11 我又觀看，聽見了千千萬萬天使的聲音，他們都在寶座、活物和長老的四周， 12 大聲說：
“被殺的羊羔是配得
權能、豐富、智慧、力量、
尊貴、榮耀、頌讚的！”
13 我又聽見在天上、地上、地底下和海裡的一切被造之物，以及天地間的萬有，都說：
“願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、能力，
都歸給坐在寶座上的那一位和羊羔，
直到永永遠遠！”
14 四個活物就說：“阿們！”眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

The Scroll with Seven Seals and the Lamb
5 And I saw in the right hand of the one who is seated on the throne a scroll, written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. 2 And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it. 4 And I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 And one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.
6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as though slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the scroll[a] from the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne. 8 And when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one of whom had a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they were singing a new song, saying,
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slaughtered,
and bought people for God by your blood
from every tribe and language and people and nation,
10 and made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”
11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and of the living creatures and of the elders, and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands times thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
13 And I heard every creature that is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea and everything in them saying,
“To the one who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power[b]
forever and ever[c].”
14 And the four living creatures were saying, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
