3 所罗门就在耶路撒冷耶和华向他父大卫显现的摩利亚山上，就是耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上，大卫所指定的地方，预备好了，开工建造耶和华的殿。
殿之度式
2 所罗门做王第四年二月初二日开工建造。 3 所罗门建筑神殿的根基乃是这样：长六十肘，宽二十肘，都按着古时的尺寸。 4 殿前的廊子长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，高一百二十肘，里面贴上精金。 5 大殿的墙都用松木板遮蔽，又贴了精金，上面雕刻棕树和链子， 6 又用宝石装饰殿墙，使殿华美；所用的金子都是巴瓦音的金子。 7 又用金子贴殿和殿的栋梁、门槛、墙壁、门扇，墙上雕刻基路伯。 8 又建造至圣所，长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，宽也是二十肘，贴上精金，共用金子六百他连得。 9 金钉重五十舍客勒。楼房都贴上金子。
造基路伯
10 在至圣所按造像的法子造两个基路伯，用金子包裹。 11 两个基路伯的翅膀共长二十肘。这基路伯的一个翅膀长五肘，挨着殿这边的墙，那一个翅膀也长五肘，与那基路伯翅膀相接。 12 那基路伯的一个翅膀长五肘，挨着殿那边的墙，那一个翅膀也长五肘，与这基路伯的翅膀相接。 13 两个基路伯张开翅膀，共长二十肘，面向外殿而立。 14 又用蓝色、紫色、朱红色线和细麻织幔子，在其上绣出基路伯来。
造柱
15 在殿前造了两根柱子，高三十五肘，每柱顶高五肘。 16 又照圣所内链子的样式做链子，安在柱顶上，又做一百石榴，安在链子上。 17 将两根柱子立在殿前，一根在右边，一根在左边，右边的起名叫雅斤，左边的起名叫波阿斯。

3 所羅門在耶路撒冷，在耶和華向他父親大衛顯現過的摩利亞山上，就是在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾場上，大衛預備的地方，開工建造耶和華的殿。 2 所羅門執政後第四年二月初二開始建造。 3 所羅門建造 神殿宇的根基是這樣：按古時的尺寸，長二十七公尺，寬九公尺。 4 殿前走廊長九公尺，與殿的寬度相等；高九公尺（“高九公尺”原文作“高一百二十”；現參照古譯本修譯）；裡面貼上純金。 5 大殿的牆都蓋上松木，又貼上精金，又在上面刻上棕樹和鍊子。 6 又用寶石裝飾殿牆，十分華美；金子都是巴瓦音的金子。 7 正殿和殿的棟梁、門檻、牆壁和門扇，都貼上金子；牆上刻上基路伯。

3 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

He overlaid the inside with pure gold. 5 (G)The larger [e]room he (H)paneled with cypress which he overlaid with fine gold, and he carved palm trees and chainwork on it. 6 And he decorated the house with precious stones for beauty, and the gold was gold from Parvaim. 7 He also overlaid the house—the beams and doorposts, its walls and doors—with gold; and he carved cherubim on the walls.
8 And he made the (I)Most Holy Place. Its length was according to the width of the house, twenty cubits, and its width twenty cubits. He overlaid it with six hundred talents of fine gold. 9 The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold; and he overlaid the upper (J)area with gold. 10 (K)In the Most Holy Place he made two cherubim, fashioned by carving, and overlaid them with gold. 11 The wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits in overall length: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the room, and the other wing was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub; 12 one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the room, and the other wing also was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub. 13 The wings of these cherubim spanned twenty cubits overall. They stood on their feet, and they faced inward. 14 And he made the (L)veil of blue, purple, crimson, and fine linen, and wove cherubim into it.
15 Also he made in front of the [f]temple (M)two pillars [g]thirty-five cubits [h]high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits. 16 He made wreaths of chainwork, as in the inner sanctuary, and put them on top of the pillars; and he made (N)one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the wreaths of chainwork. 17 Then he (O)set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; he called the name of the one on the right hand [i]Jachin, and the name of the one on the left [j]Boaz.
