Isaskars ättlingar
7 Isaskars söner hette:Tola, Pua, Jasib och Simron.
2 Tolas söner, huvudmän för sina familjer:Ussi, Refaja, Jeriel, Jamai, Jibsam och Samuel. På kung Davids tid fanns det totalt 22.600 krigsmän från dessa familjer.
3 Ussis son hette Jisraja.Jisrajas söner var alla huvudmän i sina familjer:Mikael, Obadja, Joel och Jissia.
4 Enligt mönstringen under kung David uppgick deras stridsdugliga män till 36.000, för det var vanligt bland dem med flera hustrur och många barn.
5 Det totala antalet stridsdugliga män från alla familjer i Isaskars stam uppgick till 87.000 enligt deras släkt-register.
Benjamins ättlingar
6 Benjamins söner hette:Bela, Beker och Jediael.
7 Belas söner hette:Esbon, Ussi, Ussiel, Jerimot och Iri. Dessa fem modiga stridsmän var huvudmän för sina släkter, och tillsammans hade de 22.034 stridsdugliga män i sitt släktregister.
8 Bekers söner hette:Semira, Joas, Elieser, Eljoenai, Omri, Jerimot, Abia, Anatot och Alemet.
9 Enligt släktregistret hade de tillsammans 22.200 stridsdugliga män.
10 Jediaels son hette Bilhan.Bilhans söner hette:Jeus, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaana, Setan, Tarsis och Ahisahar.
11 De var huvudmän för släkterna i Jediael och hade 17.200 stridsdugliga män.
12 Suppiterna och huppiterna härstammade från Ir och husiterna från Aher.
Naftalis ättlingar
13 Naftalis söner, ättlingar till Jakobs bihustru Bilha hette:Jahasiel, Gani, Jeser och Sallum.
Manasses ättlingar
14 Manasses ättlingar var:Asriel, genom hans arameiska bihustru, som födde Makir, Gileads far.
15 Makir tog sig en hustru bland huppiterna och suppiterna. Han hade en syster som hette Maaka. En annan ättling var Selofhad, som bara hade döttrar.
16 Makirs hustru, som också hette Maaka, födde honom en son som fick namnet Peres. Hans brors namn var Seres, och denne fick sönerna Ulam och Rekem.
17 Ulams son hette Bedan.Dessa var alltså söner till Gilead, sonsöner till Makir och sonsons söner till Manasse.
18 Hammoleket, hans syster, födde Is-Hod, Abieser och Mahela.
19 Semidas söner hette:Ajan, Sekem, Likhi och Aniam.
Efraims ättlingar
20-21 Efraims ättlingar i rakt nedstigande led från sonen Sutela hette:Bered, Tahat, Eleada, Tahat, Sabad, och Sutela.Efraims söner Eser och Elead försökte ta boskapshjordar i Gat men blev dödade av ortsbefolkningen.
22 Deras far Efraim sörjde dem en lång tid, och hans närmaste försökte trösta honom.
23 Han låg igen med sin hustru och hon födde honom sonen Beria. Det betyder olyckstid, och han kallade honom så på grund av den sorg som hade drabbat honom.
24 Efraims dotter Seera byggde Nedre och Övre Bet-Horon och Ussen-Seera.
25-27 Berias ättlingar i rakt nedstigande led var:Refa, Resef, Tela, Tahan, Laedan, Ammihud, Elisama, Nun och Josua.
28 Deras område innefattade Betel med kringliggande byar, Naaran österut, Geser och dess byar västerut och Sikem och dess byar ända bort till Aja och dess städer.
29 Längs gränsen till Manasse låg städerna Bet-Sean, Taanak, Megiddo och Dor med kringliggande byar.
Asers ättlingar
30 Asers söner hette:Jimna, Jisva, Jisvi och Beria. Sera var deras syster.
31 Berias söner hette:Heber och Malkiel, Birsaits far.
32 Hebers söner hette:Jaflet, Somer och Hotam. Sua var deras syster.
33 Jaflets söner hette:Pasak, Bimhal och Asvat.
34 Semers söner hette:Ahi, Rohaga, Jaba och Aram.
35 Hans bror Helems söner hette:Sofa, Jimna, Seles och Amal.
36-37 Sofas söner hette:Sua, Harnefet, Sual, Beli, Jimra, Beser, Hod, Samma, Silsa, Jeter och Beera.
38 Jeters söner hette:Jefunne, Pispa och Ara.
39 Ullas söner hette:Ara, Hanniel och Risja.
40 Dessa ättlingar till Aser var huvudmän för sina släkter och var allesammans skickliga krigare och utmärkta ledare. I släktregistret fanns 26.000 stridsdugliga män noterade.

Issachar
7 The sons of Issachar:(A)
Tola, Puah,(B) Jashub and Shimron—four in all.
2 The sons of Tola:
Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Samuel—heads of their families. During the reign of David, the descendants of Tola listed as fighting men in their genealogy numbered 22,600.
3 The son of Uzzi:
Izrahiah.
The sons of Izrahiah:
Michael, Obadiah, Joel and Ishiah. All five of them were chiefs. 4 According to their family genealogy, they had 36,000 men ready for battle, for they had many wives and children.
5 The relatives who were fighting men belonging to all the clans of Issachar, as listed in their genealogy, were 87,000 in all.
Benjamin
6 Three sons of Benjamin:(C)
Bela, Beker and Jediael.
7 The sons of Bela:
Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth and Iri, heads of families—five in all. Their genealogical record listed 22,034 fighting men.
8 The sons of Beker:
Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Beker. 9 Their genealogical record listed the heads of families and 20,200 fighting men.
10 The son of Jediael:
Bilhan.
The sons of Bilhan:
Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish and Ahishahar. 11 All these sons of Jediael were heads of families. There were 17,200 fighting men ready to go out to war.
12 The Shuppites and Huppites were the descendants of Ir, and the Hushites[a] the descendants of Aher.
Naphtali
Manasseh
14 The descendants of Manasseh:(E)
Asriel was his descendant through his Aramean concubine. She gave birth to Makir the father of Gilead.(F) 15 Makir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. His sister’s name was Maakah.
Another descendant was named Zelophehad,(G) who had only daughters.
16 Makir’s wife Maakah gave birth to a son and named him Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 The son of Ulam:
Bedan.
These were the sons of Gilead(H) son of Makir, the son of Manasseh. 18 His sister Hammoleketh gave birth to Ishhod, Abiezer(I) and Mahlah.
19 The sons of Shemida(J) were:
Ahian, Shechem, Likhi and Aniam.
Ephraim
20 The descendants of Ephraim:(K)
Shuthelah, Bered his son,
Tahath his son, Eleadah his son,
Tahath his son, 21 Zabad his son
and Shuthelah his son.
Ezer and Elead were killed by the native-born men of Gath, when they went down to seize their livestock. 22 Their father Ephraim mourned for them many days, and his relatives came to comfort him. 23 Then he made love to his wife again, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. He named him Beriah,[c] because there had been misfortune in his family. 24 His daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth Horon(L) as well as Uzzen Sheerah.
25 Rephah was his son, Resheph his son,[d]
Telah his son, Tahan his son,
26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son,
Elishama his son, 27 Nun his son
and Joshua his son.
28 Their lands and settlements included Bethel and its surrounding villages, Naaran to the east, Gezer(M) and its villages to the west, and Shechem and its villages all the way to Ayyah and its villages. 29 Along the borders of Manasseh were Beth Shan,(N) Taanach, Megiddo and Dor,(O) together with their villages. The descendants of Joseph son of Israel lived in these towns.
Asher
30 The sons of Asher:(P)
Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.
31 The sons of Beriah:
Heber and Malkiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
32 Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer and Hotham and of their sister Shua.
33 The sons of Japhlet:
Pasak, Bimhal and Ashvath.
These were Japhlet’s sons.
34 The sons of Shomer:
Ahi, Rohgah,[e] Hubbah and Aram.
35 The sons of his brother Helem:
Zophah, Imna, Shelesh and Amal.
36 The sons of Zophah:
Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah, 37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran[f] and Beera.
38 The sons of Jether:
Jephunneh, Pispah and Ara.
39 The sons of Ulla:
Arah, Hanniel and Rizia.
40 All these were descendants of Asher—heads of families, choice men, brave warriors and outstanding leaders. The number of men ready for battle, as listed in their genealogy, was 26,000.
