祭司的职务
24 下面是亚伦子孙的班次。亚伦的儿子是拿答、亚比户、以利亚撒、以他玛。 2 拿答和亚比户比父亲先死，而且没有留下儿子，因此以利亚撒和以他玛做了祭司。 3 在以利亚撒的子孙撒督和以他玛的子孙亚希米勒的协助下，大卫将亚伦的子孙分成班次，让他们各司其职。 4 以利亚撒的子孙中做首领的比以他玛的子孙中做首领的多，他们被分成班次，以利亚撒的子孙中有十六个族长，以他玛的子孙中有八个族长。 5 因为以利亚撒的子孙中和以他玛的子孙中都有人在圣所做首领事奉上帝，他们便用抽签的方法公平地分班，分别在以利亚撒和以他玛家族中抽签。 6 利未人拿坦业的儿子示玛雅是书记。他在君王、首领、撒督祭司、亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒、众祭司和利未人的族长面前把抽出的名字记录下来。
7 第一签抽出来的是耶何雅立，第二签是耶大雅， 8 第三签是哈琳，第四签是梭琳， 9 第五签是玛基雅，第六签是米雅民， 10 第七签是哈歌斯，第八签是亚比雅， 11 第九签是耶书亚，第十签是示迦尼， 12 第十一签是以利亚实，第十二签是雅金， 13 第十三签是胡巴，第十四签是耶是比押， 14 第十五签是璧迦，第十六签是音麦， 15 第十七签是希悉，第十八签是哈辟悉， 16 第十九签是毗他希雅，第二十签是以西结， 17 第二十一签是雅斤，第二十二签是迦末， 18 第二十三签是第来雅，第二十四签是玛西亚。 19 他们照这班次，按以色列的上帝耶和华借他们的祖先亚伦所定的条例，在耶和华的殿里司职。
20 其他的利未人还有暗兰的后代书巴业，书巴业的后裔耶希底亚， 21 利哈比雅的长子伊示雅， 22 以斯哈的后代示罗摩，示罗摩的后代雅哈， 23 希伯仑的长子耶利雅、次子亚玛利亚、三子雅哈悉、四子耶加缅， 24 乌薛的后代米迦，米迦的后代沙密， 25 米迦的弟兄伊示雅，伊示雅的后代撒迦利雅， 26 米拉利的儿子抹利、姆示、雅西雅，雅西雅的儿子比挪， 27 米拉利的后代雅西雅的儿子比挪、朔含、撒刻、伊比利， 28 抹利的儿子以利亚撒——以利亚撒没有儿子， 29 基士的后代耶拉篾， 30 姆示的儿子末力、以得、耶利摩。这些按宗族都是利未人的后代。 31 他们也在大卫王、撒督、亚希米勒、众祭司和利未人的族长面前抽签，不分长幼，正如他们的亲族亚伦的后代所做的一样。

24 También los hijos de Aarón tuvieron sus repartimientos. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 Mas Nadab, y Abiú murieron antes que su padre, y no tuvieron hijos; Eleazar e Itamar tuvieron el sacerdocio.
3 Y David los repartió, siendo Sadoc de los hijos de Eleazar, y Ahimelec de los hijos de Itamar, por sus turnos en su ministerio.
4 Y los hijos de Eleazar fueron hallados más, cuando fueron contados, que los hijos de Itamar; y los repartieron así: De los hijos de Eleazar había dieciséis cabezas de casas paternas; y de los hijos de Itamar por las casas de sus padres, ocho.
5 Los repartieron, pues, por suerte los unos con los otros; porque de los hijos de Eleazar y de los hijos de Itamar hubo príncipes del santuario, y príncipes de Dios.
6 Y Semaías escriba, hijo de Natanael, de los levitas, los escribió delante del rey y de los príncipes, y delante de Sadoc el sacerdote, y de Ahimelec hijo de Abiatar, y de las cabezas de los padres de los sacerdotes y levitas; y adscribían una casa paternal a Eleazar, y a Itamar otra.
7 Y la primera suerte salió por Joiarib, la segunda por Jedaías;
8 la tercera por Harim, la cuarta por Seorim;
9 la quinta por Malquías, la sexta por Mijamín;
10 la séptima por Cos, la octava por Abías;
11 la novena por Jesúa, la décima por Secanías;
12 la undécima por Eliasib, la duodécima por Jaquim;
13 la decimotercera por Hupa, la decimocuarta por Jesebeab;
14 la decimoquinta por Bilga, la decimosexta por Imer;
15 la decimoséptima por Hezir, la decimoctava por Afses;
16 la decimanovena por Petaías, la vigésima por Hezequiel;
17 la vigesimaprimera por Jaquín, la vigesimasegunda por Gamul;
18 la vigesimatercera por Delaía, la vigesimacuarta por Maazías.
19 Estos fueron ordenados en su ministerio, para que entraran en la Casa del SEÑOR, conforme a su derecho, en el ministerio de Aarón su padre, de la manera que le había mandado el SEÑOR Dios de Israel.

28 Y de Mahli, Eleazar, el cual no tuvo hijos.
29 Cis, hijo de Cis, Jerameel.
30 Los hijos de Musi: Mahli, Edar y Jerimot. Estos fueron los hijos de los levitas conforme a las casas de sus padres.
31 Estos también echaron suertes, contra sus hermanos los hijos de Aarón, delante del rey David, y de Sadoc y de Ahimelec, y de los principales de los padres de los sacerdotes y levitas; los principales de los padres contra sus hermanos menores.

The Divisions of Priests
24 These were the divisions(A) of the descendants of Aaron:(B)
The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(C) 2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did,(D) and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as the priests. 3 With the help of Zadok(E) a descendant of Eleazar and Ahimelek a descendant of Ithamar, David separated them into divisions for their appointed order of ministering. 4 A larger number of leaders were found among Eleazar’s descendants than among Ithamar’s, and they were divided accordingly: sixteen heads of families from Eleazar’s descendants and eight heads of families from Ithamar’s descendants. 5 They divided them impartially by casting lots,(F) for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of God among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.
6 The scribe Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and of the officials: Zadok the priest, Ahimelek(G) son of Abiathar and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites—one family being taken from Eleazar and then one from Ithamar.
7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib,
the second to Jedaiah,(H)
8 the third to Harim,(I)
the fourth to Seorim,
9 the fifth to Malkijah,
the sixth to Mijamin,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz,
the eighth to Abijah,(J)
11 the ninth to Jeshua,
the tenth to Shekaniah,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib,
the twelfth to Jakim,
13 the thirteenth to Huppah,
the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 the fifteenth to Bilgah,
the sixteenth to Immer,(K)
15 the seventeenth to Hezir,(L)
the eighteenth to Happizzez,
16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah,
the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 the twenty-first to Jakin,
the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 the twenty-third to Delaiah
and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 This was their appointed order of ministering when they entered the temple of the Lord, according to the regulations prescribed for them by their ancestor Aaron, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
The Rest of the Levites
20 As for the rest of the descendants of Levi:(M)
from the sons of Amram: Shubael;
from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
21 As for Rehabiah,(N) from his sons:
Ishiah was the first.
22 From the Izharites: Shelomoth;
from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 The sons of Hebron:(O) Jeriah the first,[a] Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third and Jekameam the fourth.
24 The son of Uzziel: Micah;
from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
25 The brother of Micah: Ishiah;
from the sons of Ishiah: Zechariah.
26 The sons of Merari:(P) Mahli and Mushi.
The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 The sons of Merari:
from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zakkur and Ibri.
28 From Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 From Kish: the son of Kish:
Jerahmeel.
30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder and Jerimoth.
These were the Levites, according to their families. 31 They also cast lots,(Q) just as their relatives the descendants of Aaron did, in the presence of King David and of Zadok, Ahimelek, and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites. The families of the oldest brother were treated the same as those of the youngest.

24 And as for the sons of Aaron, these were their divisions. The sons of Aaron were Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 2 And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no sons,[a] so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests. 3 And David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their appointments for their service. 4 And more sons of Eleazar were found as heads of the men than the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them to the sons of Eleazar to be sixteen heads over the house of the fathers, and to the sons of Ithamar over the house of the fathers were eight heads. 5 They divided them by lot all alike,[b] for they were commanders of the sanctuary and commanders of God from among the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar. 6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethanel, the scribe, from the Levites, recorded them before the king, the princes, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the families[c] of the priests and Levites, one father’s house drawn by Lot for Eleazar and one drawn by lot for Ithamar. 7 And the first lot went out to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah, 8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim, 9 the fifth to Malkijah, the sixth to Mijamin, 10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah, 11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shekaniah, 12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim, 13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab, 14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, 15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Ha-Pizzez, 16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Ezekiel, 17 the twenty-first to Jakin, the twenty-second to Gamul, 18 the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah. 19 These were their appointments for their service to come into the house of Yahweh according to their custom by the hand of Aaron their father, as Yahweh the God of Israel had commanded him.
20 And as for the remainder of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah. 21 Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief. 22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons Shelomoth, Jahath. 23 Of the sons of Jeriah, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth. 24 The sons of Uzziel, Micah; the sons of Micah, Shamur. 25 The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah. 26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah, his son.[d] 27 The sons of Merari: of Jaaziah, his son,[e] Shoham, Zakkur, and Ibri. 28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons. 29 Of Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel. 30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to the house of their fathers. 31 And lots were also cast for these, just as their brothers, the sons of Aaron, before David the king, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the families[f] for the priests and for the Levites the fathers, on the principle of the chief and younger brother alike.[g]
