8 大衛又從屬於哈大底謝的提巴和均二城中，奪取了大量的銅；後來所羅門用這些銅來製造銅海、銅柱和一切銅器。
9 哈馬王陀烏聽見大衛擊敗了瑣巴王哈大底謝的全軍， 10 就差派自己的兒子哈多蘭去見大衛王，給他問安，祝賀他，因為他與哈大底謝交戰，擊敗了哈大底謝。原來陀烏與哈大底謝常有爭戰。哈多蘭送來了各樣金、銀、銅製的器皿。

9 哈马王陀乌听说大卫打败琐巴王哈大底谢全军， 10 就派儿子哈多兰带着许多金银铜器去朝见大卫王，向他请安，祝贺他打败了哈大底谢。因为陀乌常常和哈大底谢交战。

New International Version
8 From Tebah[a] and Kun, towns that belonged to Hadadezer, David took a great quantity of bronze, which Solomon used to make the bronze Sea,(A) the pillars and various bronze articles.
9 When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer king of Zobah, 10 he sent his son Hadoram to King David to greet him and congratulate him on his victory in battle over Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Hadoram brought all kinds of articles of gold, of silver and of bronze.
