10 大卫求问 神说：“我可以上去攻打非利士人吗？你将他们交在我手里吗？”耶和华对他说：“你可以上去，我必将他们交在你手里。” 11 非利士人上到巴力‧毗拉心，大卫在那里击败他们。大卫说：“ 神藉我的手冲破敌人，如水冲破一样。”因此那地方称为巴力‧毗拉心。 12 非利士人把神像抛弃在那里，大卫吩咐人用火焚烧了。

New International Version
10 so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands.”
11 So David and his men went up to Baal Perazim,(A) and there he defeated them. He said, “As waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand.” So that place was called Baal Perazim.[a] 12 The Philistines had abandoned their gods there, and David gave orders to burn(B) them in the fire.(C)
