安葬雅各
50 約瑟伏在父親身上痛哭，親吻他， 2 然後吩咐醫生用香料保存父親的遺體。醫生遵命而行， 3 按照常例花了四十天處理屍體。埃及人為他哀悼七十天。
4 哀悼的日子完了，約瑟對法老宮中的人說：「如果你們恩待我， 5 請告訴法老，我父親死前要我起誓把他葬在迦南他自己預備好的墳地。請准許我到迦南去安葬我父親，我辦完喪事就回來。」 6 法老說：「去按照你的誓言埋葬你父親吧。」 7 於是，約瑟啟程去埋葬他的父親，隨行的有法老所有的臣僕和埃及所有的達官貴人， 8 以及約瑟全家、他的眾弟兄和雅各的家眷，只有他們的孩子和牛羊仍然留在歌珊。 9 隨行的還有大隊車輛和兵馬，人數眾多。 10 他們來到約旦河附近的亞達麥場，在那裡痛哭哀悼。約瑟為父親守喪七天。 11 迦南人看見他們在亞達麥場痛哭，就說：「埃及人在痛哭哀悼。」因此，約旦河附近的那個地方叫亞伯·麥西[a]。 12 以色列的兒子們遵照父親的遺言， 13 把父親的遺體帶回迦南，安葬在幔利附近、麥比拉田間的洞裡。洞和田地都是亞伯拉罕向赫人以弗崙買來作墳地的。 14 葬禮之後，約瑟就跟眾弟兄和一切隨行的人返回埃及。

15 約瑟的哥哥們見父親死了，就說：「約瑟會不會懷恨在心，因我們以前惡待他而報復我們呢？」 16 於是，他們派人去對約瑟說：「你父親臨終時交待這樣的話給你， 17 『從前你哥哥們惡待你，求你饒恕他們的罪惡和過犯。』我們是你父親的上帝的僕人，求你饒恕我們的罪惡。」約瑟聽見這些話，就哭了。 18 約瑟的哥哥們來見他，俯伏在他面前，說：「我們是你的奴僕。」 19 約瑟對他們說：「你們不要害怕，我豈能代替上帝？ 20 從前你們是要加害於我，但上帝有祂的美意，祂藉此保全許多人的性命，正如今日的光景。 21 因此，你們不要害怕，我會照顧你們和你們的兒女。」約瑟好言好語地寬慰他們。
約瑟去世
22 約瑟和他父親全家住在埃及。約瑟享年一百一十歲。 23 他看到了以法蓮的孫子，也曾把瑪拿西的兒子瑪吉的孩子抱在膝上。 24 一天，約瑟對他的弟兄們說：「我快要死了，但上帝必看顧你們，帶你們離開這裡，回到祂起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的地方。」 25 約瑟要以色列的子孫發誓把他的骸骨帶回迦南，又說：「上帝必看顧你們。」 26 約瑟享年一百一十歲。他們把他的遺體用香料保存好，放在棺材裡，停放在埃及。

50 Юсуф припал к отцу, заплакал над ним и поцеловал его. 2 Он приказал своим слугам-врачам набальзамировать тело отца, и врачи набальзамировали Исраила. 3 У них ушло на это сорок дней, потому что таков полный срок бальзамирования. И египтяне оплакивали его семьдесят дней.
4 Когда прошли дни плача, Юсуф сказал придворным фараона:
– Если я нашёл расположение в ваших глазах, то попросите за меня фараона; скажите ему: 5 «Мой отец велел мне дать клятву и сказал: „Я умираю; похорони меня в могиле, которую я выкопал себе в земле Ханаана“. Позволь же мне пойти и похоронить моего отца; после этого я вернусь».
6 Фараон сказал:
– Иди и похорони отца так, как ты поклялся ему.
7 И Юсуф пошёл хоронить своего отца, и с ним пошли все придворные фараона, старейшины двора, и все старейшины Египта, 8 и весь дом Юсуфа, и его братья, и весь дом его отца. Только их дети и стада крупного и мелкого скота остались в Гошене. 9 Их сопровождали колесницы и всадники; это была великая процессия.
10 Они пришли к гумну Атада, что рядом с рекой Иорданом, и там стали громко и горько плакать. Там Юсуф семь дней оплакивал отца. 11 Когда хананеи, обитатели той земли, увидели плач у гумна Атада, они сказали: «У египтян великий плач и горе». Вот почему то место рядом с Иорданом называется Авель-Мицраим («плач египтян»).
12 Так сыновья Якуба исполнили его наказ: 13 они отнесли его в землю Ханаана и похоронили в пещере на поле Махпела, рядом с Мамре; эту пещеру Ибрахим купил у хетта Эфрона вместе с полем, чтобы было у него место для погребения. 14 Похоронив отца, Юсуф возвратился в Египет, вместе с братьями и всеми, кто ходил с ним хоронить отца.
Юсуф прощает братьев
15 Когда отец умер, братья Юсуфа подумали: «Что, если Юсуф таит на нас злобу и теперь отплатит нам за всё зло, которое мы ему причинили?» 16 И они послали к Юсуфу сказать:
– Перед смертью отец оставил такие наставления: 17 «Вот, что вы должны сказать вашему брату Юсуфу: „Я прошу тебя простить твоим братьям их вину и грехи, которые они совершили, поступив с тобой так скверно“». И теперь, пожалуйста, прости грехи рабов Бога отца твоего.
Получив это послание, Юсуф заплакал.
18 Его братья пришли, пали перед ним на землю и сказали:
– Мы твои рабы.
19 Юсуф ответил:
– Не бойтесь. Разве я Всевышний? 20 Вы замыслили против меня зло, но Всевышний обратил его ко благу, чтобы совершить то, что происходит теперь: спасение многих жизней. 21 Поэтому не бойтесь: я прокормлю и вас, и ваших детей.
Он успокоил их и говорил с ними ласково.
Смерть Юсуфа
22 Юсуф жил в Египте вместе со всей семьёй своего отца, и прожил сто десять лет. 23 Он застал ещё третье поколение потомков Ефраима; и детей Махира, сына Манассы, тоже положили при рождении на колени Юсуфа.[a]
24 Юсуф сказал братьям:
– Я умираю, но Всевышний непременно придёт к вам на помощь и выведет вас из этой земли в землю, которую Он с клятвой обещал Ибрахиму, Исхаку и Якубу.
25 Юсуф велел сыновьям Исраила дать клятву и сказал:
– Всевышний непременно придёт к вам на помощь, и тогда вы должны вынести мои кости отсюда.
26 Юсуф умер в возрасте ста десяти лет, и его набальзамировали и положили в гроб[b] в Египте.

50 Entonces se echó José sobre el rostro de su padre, lloró sobre él y lo besó. 2 Después mandó José a los médicos que estaban a su servicio que embalsamaran a su padre, y los médicos embalsamaron a Israel. 3 Cumplieron así cuarenta días, que eran los días requeridos para embalsamar.
Y los egipcios lo lloraron setenta días. 4 Pasados los días de su luto, habló José a los de la casa del faraón, diciendo:
—Si he hallado gracia a vuestros ojos, os ruego que habléis ahora a oídos del faraón, y le digáis: 5 “Mi padre me hizo jurar, diciendo: ‘Yo voy a morir; en el sepulcro que cavé para mí en la tierra de Canaán, allí me sepultarás’. Permite, pues, que yo vaya ahora a sepultar a mi padre, y después volveré.”
6 El faraón dijo:
—Ve y sepulta a tu padre, como él te hizo jurar.
7 Entonces José subió para sepultar a su padre; y subieron con él todos los siervos del faraón, los ancianos de su casa y todos los ancianos de la tierra de Egipto, 8 toda la casa de José, sus hermanos y la casa de su padre; solamente dejaron en la tierra de Gosén sus niños, sus ovejas y sus vacas. 9 Subieron también con él carros y gente de a caballo, y se hizo un escuadrón muy grande. 10 Llegaron hasta la era de Atad, al otro lado del Jordán, y lloraron e hicieron grande y muy triste lamentación. Allí José hizo duelo por su padre durante siete días.
11 Al ver los habitantes de la tierra, los cananeos, el llanto en la era de Atad, dijeron: «Llanto grande es éste de los egipcios.» Por eso, a aquel lugar que está al otro lado del Jordán se le llamó Abel-mizraim.
12 Sus hijos, pues, hicieron con él según les había mandado, 13 pues sus hijos lo llevaron a la tierra de Canaán y lo sepultaron en la cueva del campo de Macpela, la que había comprado Abraham de manos de Efrón, el heteo, junto con el mismo campo, para heredad de sepultura, al oriente de Mamre. 14 Después que lo hubo sepultado, regresó José a Egipto, él, sus hermanos y todos los que subieron con él a sepultar a su padre.
Muerte de José
15 Al ver los hermanos de José que su padre había muerto, dijeron:
—Quizá nos aborrecerá José, y nos dará el pago de todo el mal que le hicimos.
16 Entonces enviaron a decir a José: «Tu padre mandó antes de su muerte, diciendo: 17 “Así diréis a José: ‘Te ruego que perdones ahora la maldad de tus hermanos y su pecado, porque te trataron mal’”; por eso, ahora te rogamos que perdones la maldad de los siervos del Dios de tu padre.» Y José lloró mientras hablaban.
18 Llegaron también sus hermanos, se postraron delante de él y dijeron:
—Aquí nos tienes. Somos tus esclavos.
19 Pero José les respondió:
—No temáis, pues ¿acaso estoy yo en lugar de Dios? 20 Vosotros pensasteis hacerme mal, pero Dios lo encaminó a bien, para hacer lo que vemos hoy, para mantener con vida a mucha gente. 21 Ahora, pues, no tengáis miedo; yo os sustentaré a vosotros y a vuestros hijos.
Así los consoló, pues les habló al corazón.
22 Habitó José en Egipto, él y la casa de su padre; y vivió José ciento diez años. 23 Vio José los hijos de Efraín hasta la tercera generación; y también los hijos de Maquir hijo de Manasés fueron criados sobre las rodillas de José.
24 Un día, José dijo a sus hermanos:
—Yo voy a morir, pero Dios ciertamente os visitará y os hará subir de esta tierra a la tierra que juró a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob.
25 E hizo jurar José a los hijos de Israel, diciendo:
—Dios ciertamente os visitará, y haréis llevar de aquí mis huesos.
26 Murió José a la edad de ciento diez años; lo embalsamaron, y lo pusieron en un ataúd en Egipto.
Genesis 50
King James Version
50 And Joseph fell upon his father's face, and wept upon him, and kissed him.
2 And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel.
3 And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed: and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days.
4 And when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spake unto the house of Pharaoh, saying, If now I have found grace in your eyes, speak, I pray you, in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,
5 My father made me swear, saying, Lo, I die: in my grave which I have digged for me in the land of Canaan, there shalt thou bury me. Now therefore let me go up, I pray thee, and bury my father, and I will come again.
6 And Pharaoh said, Go up, and bury thy father, according as he made thee swear.
7 And Joseph went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,
8 And all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father's house: only their little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left in the land of Goshen.
9 And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company.
10 And they came to the threshingfloor of Atad, which is beyond Jordan, and there they mourned with a great and very sore lamentation: and he made a mourning for his father seven days.
11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abelmizraim, which is beyond Jordan.
12 And his sons did unto him according as he commanded them:
13 For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.
14 And Joseph returned into Egypt, he, and his brethren, and all that went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.
15 And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.
16 And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Thy father did command before he died, saying,
17 So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
18 And his brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.
19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
21 Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.
22 And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father's house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years.
23 And Joseph saw Ephraim's children of the third generation: the children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were brought up upon Joseph's knees.
24 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
25 And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.
26 So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.
