18 以利亚说：“使以色列遭殃的不是我，而是你和你的父家，因为你们离弃耶和华的诫命[a]，去随从巴力。 19 现在你要派人去召集以色列众人，以及耶洗别所供养的四百五十个巴力的先知和四百个亚舍拉的先知，叫他们都上迦密山到我这里来。”
20 亚哈就派人到以色列众人那里，召集先知上迦密山。

18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you(A) and your father’s family have. You have abandoned(B) the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon(C) the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel.(D) And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”(E)
20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.(F)
