用面粉解毒
38 以利沙回到吉甲，那里正闹饥荒。一群先知坐在他面前，他吩咐仆人把一口大锅放在火上给他们煮汤。 39 有个先知到田间摘野菜，看见一棵野瓜藤，便摘了一兜野瓜回来，切碎了放进锅里，却不知道那是什么瓜。 40 汤煮好后倒出来给众人喝，他们刚喝了一点，就叫道：“上帝的仆人啊，汤里有毒！”他们都不敢喝了。 41 以利沙说：“拿点面粉来。”他把面粉撒在锅里，说：“倒出来给众人喝吧。”于是，汤里没有毒了。
用二十个饼喂饱百人
42 从巴力·沙利沙来了一个人，他带了二十个用初熟大麦做的饼和一些麦穗送给上帝的仆人。上帝的仆人说：“分给众人吃吧。” 43 仆人说：“这些怎么够一百人吃呢？”以利沙说：“你只管分给众人吃。因为耶和华说，‘众人都能吃饱，并且还会剩下。’” 44 于是，仆人将食物摆在众人面前，他们都吃饱了，果然还有剩余，正如耶和华所言。
以利沙医治乃缦
5 乃缦是亚兰王的元帅，甚得亚兰王器重，因为耶和华借他使亚兰人打了许多胜仗。他是英勇的战士，只是患了麻风病。 2 亚兰人袭击以色列时，曾掳回一个以色列少女，这少女做了乃缦妻子的婢女。 3 有一天，她对主母说：“要是我主人去见撒玛利亚的那位先知就好了！他一定能治好我主人的麻风病。” 4 乃缦把这以色列少女的话告诉亚兰王。 5 亚兰王说：“你去吧。我会写信给以色列王的。”于是，乃缦带了三百四十公斤银子、七十公斤金子和十套衣服，启程前往以色列。 6 他带给以色列王的信上写着：“谨以此信介绍我的臣仆乃缦到你那里，你要医好他的麻风病。” 7 以色列王读完信后，就撕裂衣服说：“难道我是上帝吗？我能操纵人的生死吗？这人竟叫我医好一个人的麻风病！他只是想找借口攻打我。”
8 上帝的仆人以利沙听说以色列王撕裂了衣服，便派人去对王说：“你为什么撕裂衣服呢？让那人到我这里来，我要让他知道以色列有先知。”

Death in the Pot
38 Elisha returned to Gilgal(A) and there was a famine(B) in that region. While the company of the prophets was meeting with him, he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot and cook some stew for these prophets.”
39 One of them went out into the fields to gather herbs and found a wild vine and picked as many of its gourds as his garment could hold. When he returned, he cut them up into the pot of stew, though no one knew what they were. 40 The stew was poured out for the men, but as they began to eat it, they cried out, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.
41 Elisha said, “Get some flour.” He put it into the pot and said, “Serve it to the people to eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.(C)
Feeding of a Hundred
42 A man came from Baal Shalishah,(D) bringing the man of God twenty loaves(E) of barley bread(F) baked from the first ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain. “Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said.
43 “How can I set this before a hundred men?” his servant asked.
But Elisha answered, “Give it to the people to eat.(G) For this is what the Lord says: ‘They will eat and have some left over.(H)’” 44 Then he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the Lord.
Naaman Healed of Leprosy
5 Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram.(I) He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy.[a](J)
2 Now bands of raiders(K) from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from Israel, and she served Naaman’s wife. 3 She said to her mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet(L) who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”
4 Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said. 5 “By all means, go,” the king of Aram replied. “I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents[b] of silver, six thousand shekels[c] of gold and ten sets of clothing.(M) 6 The letter that he took to the king of Israel read: “With this letter I am sending my servant Naaman to you so that you may cure him of his leprosy.”
7 As soon as the king of Israel read the letter,(N) he tore his robes and said, “Am I God?(O) Can I kill and bring back to life?(P) Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel(Q) with me!”
8 When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message: “Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet(R) in Israel.”

38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets.
39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.
41 But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.
42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.
43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the Lord, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.
44 So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the Lord.
5 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.
3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
4 And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
5 And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.
6 And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.
7 And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.
8 And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
