2 以利亞對以利沙說：「你留在這裡吧，耶和華吩咐我去伯特利。」以利沙說：「我憑永活的耶和華和你的性命起誓，我決不離開你。」於是二人前往伯特利。 3 伯特利的眾先知出來見以利沙，問他：「你知道耶和華今天要接走你師傅嗎？」他說：「我知道，請不要作聲。」
4 以利亞對以利沙說：「你留在這裡吧，耶和華差遣我去耶利哥。」以利沙說：「我憑永活的耶和華和你的性命起誓，我決不離開你。」於是二人前往耶利哥。

2 Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here;(A) the Lord has sent me to Bethel.”
But Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.”(B) So they went down to Bethel.
3 The company(C) of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”
“Yes, I know,” Elisha replied, “so be quiet.”
4 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, Elisha; the Lord has sent me to Jericho.(D)”
And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho.
