聖殿門口的瘸腿者得醫治
3 下午三點鐘禱告的時候，彼得和約翰上聖殿去。 2 一個從母腹裏就是瘸腿的人正被人抬來，他們天天把他放在聖殿的一個叫美門的門口，求進聖殿的人施捨。 3 他看見彼得、約翰將要進聖殿，就求他們施捨。 4 彼得和約翰定睛看他，彼得說：「看着我們！」 5 那人就注目看他們，指望從他們得着甚麼。 6 彼得卻說：「金銀我都沒有，但我把我有的給你：奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名起來[a]行走！」 7 於是彼得拉着他的右手，扶他起來；他的腳和踝骨立刻健壯了， 8 就跳起來，站着，又開始行走。他跟他們進了聖殿，邊走邊跳，讚美 神。 9 百姓都看見他又行走，又讚美 神， 10 認得他是那素常坐在聖殿的美門口求人施捨的，就因他所遇到的事滿心驚訝詫異。

11 那人正在稱為所羅門的廊下，拉住彼得和約翰，大家都覺得很驚訝，一齊跑到他們那裏。 12 彼得看見，就對百姓說：「以色列人哪，為甚麼因這事而驚訝呢？為甚麼定睛看我們，以為我們憑自己的能力和虔誠使這人行走呢？ 13 亞伯拉罕的 神、以撒的 神、雅各的 神，就是我們列祖的 神，已經榮耀了他的僕人耶穌，這耶穌就是你們交付官府的那位，彼拉多決定要釋放他時，你們卻在彼拉多面前棄絕了他。 14 你們棄絕了那聖潔公義者，反而要求釋放一個兇手給你們。 15 你們殺了那生命的創始者， 神卻叫他從死人中復活；我們都是這事的見證人。 16 因信他的名，他的名使你們所看見所認識的這人健壯了；正是他所賜的信心使這人在你們眾人面前完全好了。
17 「如今，弟兄們，我知道你們做這事是出於無知，你們的官長也是如此。 18 但 神藉着眾先知的口預先宣告過基督將要受害的事，就這樣應驗了。 19 所以，你們當悔改歸正，使你們的罪得以塗去， 20 這樣，那安舒的日子就必從主面前來到；主也必差遣所預定給你們的基督耶穌來臨。 21 他必須留在天上，直到萬物復興的時候，就是 神自古藉着聖先知的口所說的。 22 摩西曾說：『主—你們[b]的 神要從你們弟兄中給你們興起一位先知像我，凡他向你們所說的一切，你們都要聽從。 23 凡不聽從那先知的，必將從民中滅絕。』 24 從撒母耳以來和後繼的眾先知，凡說預言的，也都曾宣告這些日子。 25 你們是先知的子孫，也是 神與你們[c]祖宗所立之約的子孫，就是對亞伯拉罕說：『地上萬族都將因你的後裔得福。』 26 神既興起他的僕人，就先差他到你們這裏來，賜福給你們，使各人回轉，離開你們的邪惡。」

Người Què Được Chữa Lành Tại Cổng Đền Thờ
3 Phê-rơ và Giăng đi lên đền thờ vào giờ cầu nguyện lúc ba giờ chiều. 2 Một anh què từ lúc sơ sinh hằng ngày được khiêng đến đền thờ, đặt tại Cổng Đẹp để xin khách vào đền bố thí. 3 Thấy Phê-rơ và Giăng bước vào đền thờ, anh xin họ cho ít tiền. 4 Phê-rơ và Giăng đều chăm chú nhìn anh. Phê-rơ bảo: “Anh hãy nhìn chúng tôi đây!” 5 Anh què ngước nhìn hai người, mong được họ cho chút gì.
6 Phê-rơ nói: “Bạc, vàng tôi không có, nhưng điều tôi có, xin tặng cho anh: Nhân danh Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-su ở Na-xa-rét, anh hãy bước đi!” 7 Phê-rơ nắm tay phải anh đỡ đứng dậy. Lập tức, bàn chân và xương mắt cá anh trở nên vững vàng, 8 anh què nhảy lên, đứng dậy, bước vào đền thờ với hai sứ đồ, vừa đi, vừa nhảy và ca ngợi Đức Chúa Trời. 9 Tất cả dân chúng đều thấy anh bước đi và ca ngợi Đức Chúa Trời. 10 Họ nhận ra anh chính là người thường ngồi ăn xin tại Cổng Đẹp của đền thờ nên họ vô cùng kinh ngạc sửng sốt khi thấy việc này xảy ra.
11 Anh đang nắm tay Phê-rơ và Giăng, tất cả dân chúng đều lấy làm lạ, chạy đến, tại chỗ gọi là hành lang Sa-lô-môn. 12 Thấy thế, Phê-rơ bảo họ: “Đồng bào Y-sơ-ra-ên! Tại sao quý vị ngạc nhiên? Tại sao quý vị nhìn sững chúng tôi dường như chúng tôi cậy quyền năng hoặc đức độ của mình mà khiến người què này đi được. 13 Đức Chúa Trời của Áp-ra-ham, Y-sác và Gia-cốp, Đức Chúa Trời của tổ phụ chúng ta đã tôn vinh đầy tớ Ngài là Đức Giê-su. Đồng bào đã nộp Ngài cho người ta xử tử, quý vị đã khước từ Ngài trước mặt Phi-lát khi ông ta quyết định phóng thích Ngài. 14 Nhưng quý vị đã khước từ Đấng Thánh và công chính và xin Phi-lát ân xá tha cho một kẻ sát nhân. 15 Quý vị đã giết Chúa Sự Sống, mà Đức Chúa Trời đã làm cho sống lại từ kẻ chết; chúng tôi là nhân chứng về việc đó. 16 Bởi đức tin trong danh Giê-su, người què mà quý vị thấy và biết đã được lành mạnh. Chính danh Giê-su và đức tin trong Ngài đã làm cho người què được chữa lành trước mặt tất cả quý vị.
17 Bây giờ, thưa anh em, tôi biết anh em đã hành động cách vô ý thức, cũng như các nhà lãnh đạo của mình. 18 Nhưng Đức Chúa Trời làm ứng nghiệm điều Ngài đã báo trước qua môi miệng tất cả các nhà tiên tri rằng Chúa Cứu Thế của Ngài phải chịu đau thương. 19 Vậy anh em hãy ăn năn, quay về Đức Chúa Trời, ngõ hầu tội lỗi của anh em được tẩy sạch, để thời kỳ tươi mới được đến từ Chúa, 20 và để Đức Chúa Trời sai Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-su mà Ngài đã chọn sẵn từ trước, đến với anh em. 21 Chúa Cứu Thế còn phải ở lại trên trời cho đến thời kỳ Đức Chúa Trời khôi phục vạn vật, như Ngài đã hứa từ lâu qua các tiên tri thánh của Ngài. 22 Vì Môi-se đã nói: ‘Chúa là Đức Chúa Trời của anh em sẽ dấy lên giữa dân chúng một tiên tri như tôi; anh em phải nghe theo mọi lời Ngài dạy bảo. 23 Nếu ai không nghe theo lời Ngài sẽ bị khai trừ ra khỏi dân chúng.’
24 Thật thế, tất cả các tiên tri từ Sa-mu-ên trở xuống, ai đã lên tiếng nói tiên tri, đều báo trước những ngày này. 25 Anh em là con cháu của các tiên tri và của giao ước Đức Chúa Trời đã lập với các tổ phụ. Ngài đã bảo Áp-ra-ham:

A Lame Man Healed
3 Now Peter and John went up together (A)to the temple at the hour of prayer, (B)the ninth hour. 2 And (C)a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, (D)to [a]ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: (E)In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, (F)leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 (G)And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who (H)sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

11 Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch (I)which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. 12 So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 (J)The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, (K)glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you (L)delivered up and (M)denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go. 14 But you denied (N)the Holy One (O)and the Just, and (P)asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 and killed the [b]Prince of life, (Q)whom God raised from the dead, (R)of which we are witnesses. 16 (S)And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that (T)you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18 But (U)those things which God foretold (V)by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 (W)Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send [c]Jesus Christ, who was [d]preached to you before, 21 (X)whom heaven must receive until the times of (Y)restoration of all things, (Z)which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [e]the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, (AA)‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24 Yes, and (AB)all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also [f]foretold these days. 25 (AC)You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, (AD)‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26 To you (AE)first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, (AF)in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”

Peter Heals a Lame Beggar
3 One day Peter and John(A) were going up to the temple(B) at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.(C) 2 Now a man who was lame from birth(D) was being carried to the temple gate(E) called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg(F) from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,(G) walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping,(H) and praising God. 9 When all the people(I) saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful,(J) and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Peter Speaks to the Onlookers
11 While the man held on to Peter and John,(K) all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade.(L) 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,(M) the God of our fathers,(N) has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over(O) to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate,(P) though he had decided to let him go.(Q) 14 You disowned the Holy(R) and Righteous One(S) and asked that a murderer be released to you.(T) 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead.(U) We are witnesses(V) of this. 16 By faith in the name of Jesus,(W) this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
17 “Now, fellow Israelites,(X) I know that you acted in ignorance,(Y) as did your leaders.(Z) 18 But this is how God fulfilled(AA) what he had foretold(AB) through all the prophets,(AC) saying that his Messiah would suffer.(AD) 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,(AE) that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah,(AF) who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him(AG) until the time comes for God to restore everything,(AH) as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.(AI) 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.(AJ) 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’[a](AK)
24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets(AL) who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs(AM) of the prophets and of the covenant(AN) God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b](AO) 26 When God raised up(AP) his servant, he sent him first(AQ) to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
