3 他又问∶“那么，你们受到的是什么样的洗礼呢？”
他们回答∶“是约翰的洗礼。”
4 保罗说∶“约翰告诉人们受洗是表示要改过自新。他告诉那些人们信仰在他之后来的那位，也就是耶稣。”
5 他们听到这话，就以主耶稣的名义接受了洗礼。

3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”
“John’s baptism,” they replied.
4 Paul said, “John’s baptism(A) was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”(B) 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.(C)
