36 当他们沿路前行的时候，来到一个有水的地方。太监说：“看哪，有水！有什么能阻止我受洗呢？” 37 腓利说：“如果你全心相信就可以受洗。”太监回答说：“我相信耶稣基督是神的儿子。”[a] 38 于是他吩咐停下马车，腓利和太监，两个人下到水里，腓利就给他施洗[b]。

36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”(A) [37] [a] 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.
