²于是，十二使徒召集所有的门徒，对他们说：“我们不应该忽略传上帝的道，去管理膳食。 ³弟兄姊妹，请从你们中间选出七位声誉良好、被圣灵充满、有智慧的人来负责膳食， ⁴而我们要专心祈祷和传道。”

²於是，十二使徒召集所有的門徒，對他們說：「我們不應該忽略傳上帝的道，去管理膳食。 ³弟兄姊妹，請從你們中間選出七位聲譽良好、被聖靈充滿、有智慧的人來負責膳食， ⁴而我們要專心祈禱和傳道。」

²Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

³Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

⁴But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
