⁷那时我也听见有声音对我说：‘彼得，起来，宰了吃！’

⁸我说：‘主啊，千万不可！因为俗物或不洁净的东西，从来没有入过我的口。’ ⁹那声音第二次从天上传来，说：‘神所洁净的，你不可当做污秽的。’

⁷接着，我听见有声音对我说，‘彼得，起来，宰了吃！’ ⁸我说，‘主啊，这可不行！我从未吃过任何污秽不洁之物！’ ⁹那从天上来的声音又说，‘上帝已经洁净的，你不可再称之为不洁净。’

⁷接著，我聽見有聲音對我說，『彼得，起來，宰了吃！』 ⁸我說，『主啊，這可不行！我從未吃過任何污穢不潔之物！』 ⁹那從天上來的聲音又說，『上帝已經潔淨的，你不可再稱之為不潔淨。』

⁷Then I heard a voice telling me, ‘Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.’

⁸“I replied, ‘Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

⁹“The voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’^(A)
