15 我一开始讲话，圣灵就降临在他们身上，就像当初降临在我们身上一样。 16 我就想起了主如此说的话，‘约翰用水[a]施洗[b]，但你们将要受圣灵的洗。’ 17 因此，神如果给了他们这相同的恩赐，就像在我们信靠主耶稣基督的时候也给了我们一样，那么，我是谁呢？难道能拦阻神吗？”

15 “As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on(A) them as he had come on us at the beginning.(B) 16 Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with[a] water,(C) but you will be baptized with[b] the Holy Spirit.’(D) 17 So if God gave them the same gift(E) he gave us(F) who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”
