耶和華對以色列的愛
54 不能生育、沒有生養過孩子的啊！
你要歡呼。
沒有生產過的啊！你要發聲歡呼，高聲呼喊。
因為棄婦比有夫之婦有更多兒子。
這是耶和華說的。
2 要擴張你帳幕的地方，
伸展你居所的幔子，不要限制；
要拉長你的繩索，
堅固你的橛子。
3 因為你要向南向北擴展，
你的後裔必佔有列國之地，
又使荒廢了的城鎮有人居住。
4 不要懼怕，因為你必不致蒙羞；
也不要抱愧，因為你必不致受辱，
你必忘記你幼年時的羞愧，
也不再記念你寡居時的恥辱。
5 因為造你的，就是你的丈夫；
萬軍之耶和華是他的名；
救贖你的，就是以色列的聖者；
他被稱為全地的 神。
6 因為耶和華召喚你，
如同召喚被離棄、心靈憂傷的妻子，
就是幼年時所娶卻被棄絕的妻子；
這是你的 神說的。
7 我只是暫時離棄你，
卻以極大的憐憫把你招聚回來。
8 在怒氣漲溢的時候，
我暫時向你掩面，
卻要以永遠的慈愛憐憫你；
這是耶和華你的救贖主說的。
9 這事對我就好像挪亞時代的洪水一般；
我怎樣起誓不再使挪亞時代的洪水漫過大地，
我也照樣起誓不向你發怒，
也不斥責你。
10 雖然大山可以挪開，小山可以遷移，
但我的慈愛必不從你身上挪開，
我和平的約也必不遷移；
這是憐憫你的耶和華說的。
耶路撒冷將來的景況
11 受困苦、被風飄蕩、不得安慰的啊！
你看，我要用彩色的石頭安置你的基石，
以藍寶石奠定你的根基。
12 又用紅寶石做你的城樓，
用紅玉做你的城門，
用各種寶石做你四周的圍牆。
13 你所有的兒女都必受耶和華的教導，
你的兒女必大享平安。
14 你必因公義得以堅立；
你必遠離欺壓，你必無所懼怕；
你也必遠離驚嚇，因為驚嚇必不會臨近你。
15 看哪！必有人起來攻擊你，但那不是出於我；
攻擊你的，必因你仆倒。
16 看哪！那吹炭火、
打造出合用武器的鐵匠，是我創造的；
那殘害人、行毀滅的，也是我創造的。
17 為攻擊你而製成的武器，都沒有效用；
在審判的時候興起來與你爭辯的舌頭，你都必定它為有罪。
這是耶和華眾僕人的產業，
他們的義是從我而得；這是耶和華說的。

54 “(A)Shout for joy, infertile one, you who have not given birth to any child;
Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor;
For the sons of the (B)desolate one will be (C)more numerous
Than the sons of the married woman,” says the Lord.
2 “(D)Enlarge the place of your tent;
[a]Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them;
Lengthen your (E)ropes
And strengthen your (F)pegs.
3 For you will (G)spread out to the right and to the left.
And your [b]descendants will (H)possess nations
And will (I)resettle the desolate cities.
4 “Fear not, for you will (J)not be put to shame;
And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced;
But you will forget the (K)shame of your youth,
And no longer remember the (L)disgrace of your widowhood.
5 For your (M)husband is your Maker,
Whose name is the Lord of armies;
And your (N)Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the (O)God of all the earth.
6 For the Lord has called you,
Like a wife (P)forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,”
Says your God.
7 “[c]For a (Q)brief moment I abandoned you,
But with great compassion I will (R)gather you.
8 In an [d](S)outburst of anger
I hid My face from you for a moment,
But with everlasting (T)favor I will (U)have compassion on you,”
Says the Lord your (V)Redeemer.
9 “For [e]this is like the days of Noah to Me,
When I swore that the waters of Noah
Would (W)not [f]flood the earth again;
So I have sworn that I will (X)not be angry with you
Nor rebuke you.
10 For the (Y)mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
But My [g]favor will not be removed from you,
Nor will My (Z)covenant of peace be shaken,”
Says (AA)the Lord who has compassion on you.
11 “(AB)Afflicted one, storm-tossed, and (AC)not comforted,
Behold, I will set your stones in antimony,
And I will (AD)lay your foundations with [h](AE)sapphires.
12 Moreover, I will make your battlements of [i]rubies,
And your gates of [j]crystal,
And your entire [k]wall of precious stones.
13 (AF)All your sons will be [l]taught by the Lord;
And the well-being of your sons will be (AG)great.
14 In (AH)righteousness you will be established;
You will be far from (AI)oppression, for you will (AJ)not fear;
And from (AK)terror, for it will not come near you.
15 If anyone fiercely attacks you, it will not be from Me.
(AL)Whoever attacks you will fall because of you.
16 Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals
And produces a weapon for its work;
And I have created the destroyer to inflict ruin.
17 (AM)No weapon that is formed against you will succeed;
And you will condemn (AN)every tongue that [m]accuses you in judgment.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their (AO)vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

54 Grita de júbilo, oh estéril, la que no ha dado a luz;
prorrumpe en gritos de júbilo y clama en alta voz, la que no ha estado de parto(A);
porque son más los hijos de la desolada(B)
que los hijos(C) de la casada —dice el Señor.
2 Ensancha el lugar de tu tienda(D),
extiende[a] las cortinas de tus moradas, no escatimes;
alarga tus cuerdas,
y refuerza tus estacas(E).
3 Porque te extenderás hacia la derecha y hacia la izquierda;
tu descendencia[b] poseerá naciones(F),
y poblarán ciudades desoladas(G).
4 No temas, pues no serás avergonzada;
ni te sientas humillada(H), pues no serás agraviada;
sino que te olvidarás de la vergüenza de tu juventud(I),
y del oprobio(J) de tu viudez no te acordarás más.
5 Porque tu esposo es tu Hacedor(K),
el Señor de los ejércitos es su nombre;
y tu Redentor es el Santo de Israel(L),
que se llama Dios de toda la tierra(M).
6 Porque como a mujer abandonada y afligida de espíritu,
te ha llamado el Señor,
y como a esposa de la juventud que es repudiada(N)
—dice tu Dios.
7 Por[c] un breve momento te abandoné(O),
pero con gran compasión te recogeré(P).
8 En un acceso[d] de ira(Q)
escondí mi rostro de ti por un momento,
pero con misericordia eterna tendré compasión de ti(R)
—dice el Señor tu Redentor(S).
9 Porque esto es para mí como en los días[e] de Noé,
cuando juré que las aguas de Noé
nunca más inundarían[f] la tierra(T);
así he jurado que no me enojaré contra ti(U),
ni te reprenderé.
10 Porque los montes serán quitados y las colinas temblarán(V),
pero mi misericordia no se apartará de ti,
y el pacto de mi paz no será quebrantado(W)
—dice el Señor, que tiene compasión de ti(X).
11 Oh afligida[g](Y), azotada por la tempestad, sin consuelo(Z),
he aquí, yo asentaré tus piedras en antimonio(AA),
y tus cimientos en zafiros[h](AB).
12 Haré tus almenas de rubíes,
tus puertas de cristal[i]
y todo tu muro[j] de piedras preciosas.
13 Todos tus hijos serán enseñados por el[k] Señor(AC),
y grande será el bienestar[l] de tus hijos(AD).
14 En justicia serás establecida(AE).
Estarás lejos de la opresión(AF), pues no temerás(AG),
y del terror(AH), pues no se acercará a ti.
15 Si alguno te ataca ferozmente, no será de mi parte.
Cualquiera que te ataque, por causa de ti caerá(AI).
16 He aquí, yo he creado al herrero que sopla las brasas en el fuego
y saca una herramienta para su trabajo;
yo he creado al devastador para destruir.
17 Ningún arma forjada contra ti prosperará(AJ),
y condenarás toda lengua que se alce(AK) contra ti en juicio.
Esta es la herencia de los siervos del Señor,
y su justificación viene de mí(AL) —declara el Señor.
