15 我要使大山小岡變為荒場,使其上的花草都枯乾;我要使江河變為洲島,使水池都乾涸。 16 我要引瞎子行不認識的道,領他們走不知道的路,在他們面前使黑暗變為光明,使彎曲變為平直。這些事我都要行,並不離棄他們。 17 倚靠雕刻的偶像,對鑄造的偶像說『你是我們的神』,這等人要退後,全然蒙羞。

15 我要使大山小丘一片荒凉,
上面的草木都枯萎。
我要使河川变成岛屿,
池塘干涸。
16 我要带领瞎子走他们不认识的路,
引导他们走陌生的道。
我要把他们面前的黑暗变为光明,
坎坷之地变得平坦。
我必行这些事,我必不离弃他们。
17 但那些信靠雕刻的偶像、
供奉金属铸像的必遭唾弃,
羞愧难当。

Het Boek
15 Hij zal bergen en heuvels met de grond gelijk maken en het groen op de hellingen verschroeien. Hij zal de rivieren en waterplassen laten opdrogen. 16 Hij zal het blinde Israël langs een pad laten lopen dat het nog nooit heeft gezien. Hij zal de duisternis voor haar verlichten en de weg voor haar effenen. Hij zal haar niet in de steek laten. 17 Maar zij die op afgoden vertrouwen en hén goden noemen, zullen bedrogen uitkomen, zij zullen terugdeinzen.

New International Version
15 I will lay waste(A) the mountains(B) and hills
and dry up all their vegetation;
I will turn rivers into islands
and dry up(C) the pools.
16 I will lead(D) the blind(E) by ways they have not known,
along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light(F) before them
and make the rough places smooth.(G)
These are the things I will do;
I will not forsake(H) them.
17 But those who trust in idols,
who say to images, ‘You are our gods,’(I)
will be turned back in utter shame.(J)
