29 「唉，亞利伊勒，亞利伊勒，大衛安營的城！任憑你年上加年，節期照常周流， 2 我終必使亞利伊勒困難，她必悲傷哀號，我卻仍以她為亞利伊勒。 3 我必四圍安營攻擊你，屯兵圍困你，築壘攻擊你。 4 你必敗落，從地中說話，你的言語必微細出於塵埃。你的聲音必像那交鬼者的聲音出於地，你的言語低低微微出於塵埃。
5 「你仇敵的群眾卻要像細塵，強暴人的群眾也要像飛糠。這事必頃刻之間，忽然臨到。 6 萬軍之耶和華必用雷轟、地震、大聲、旋風、暴風並吞滅的火焰，向她討罪。 7 那時，攻擊亞利伊勒列國的群眾，就是一切攻擊亞利伊勒和她的保障並使她困難的，必如夢景，如夜間的異象。 8 又必像飢餓的人，夢中吃飯，醒了仍覺腹空；或像口渴的人，夢中喝水，醒了仍覺發昏，心裡想喝。攻擊錫安山列國的群眾，也必如此。」

9 你們等候驚奇吧！你們宴樂昏迷吧！他們醉了，卻非因酒；他們東倒西歪，卻非因濃酒。 10 因為耶和華將沉睡的靈澆灌你們，封閉你們的眼，蒙蓋你們的頭。你們的眼就是先知，你們的頭就是先見。 11 所有的默示，你們看如封住的書卷。人將這書卷交給識字的，說：「請念吧。」他說：「我不能念，因為是封住了。」 12 又將這書卷交給不識字的人，說：「請念吧。」他說：「我不識字。」

13 主說：「因為這百姓親近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我。他們敬畏我，不過是領受人的吩咐。 14 所以，我在這百姓中要行奇妙的事，就是奇妙又奇妙的事。他們智慧人的智慧必然消滅，聰明人的聰明必然隱藏。」
15 禍哉！那些向耶和華深藏謀略的，又在暗中行事，說：「誰看見我們呢？誰知道我們呢？」 16 你們把事顛倒了！豈可看窯匠如泥嗎？被製作的物豈可論製作物的說「他沒有製作我」？或是被創造的物論造物的說「他沒有聰明」？
謙卑者必因耶和華歡喜
17 黎巴嫩變為肥田，肥田看如樹林，不是只有一點點時候嗎？ 18 那時，聾子必聽見這書上的話，瞎子的眼必從迷蒙黑暗中得以看見。 19 謙卑人必因耶和華增添歡喜，人間貧窮的必因以色列的聖者快樂。 20 因為強暴人已歸無有，褻慢人已經滅絕，一切找機會作孽的都被剪除。 21 他們在爭訟的事上定無罪的為有罪，為城門口責備人的設下網羅，用虛無的事屈枉義人。
22 所以，救贖亞伯拉罕的耶和華論雅各家如此說：「雅各必不再羞愧，面容也不致變色。 23 但他看見他的眾子，就是我手的工作，在他那裡，他們必尊我的名為聖，必尊雅各的聖者為聖，必敬畏以色列的神。 24 心中迷糊的必得明白，發怨言的必受訓誨。」

29 亚利伊勒、亚利伊勒（“亚利伊勒”意即“祭坛的炉”，代表耶路撒冷），
大卫曾在此安营的城啊，有祸了！
虽然你一年又一年按时举行节期，
2 我却要使亚利伊勒受困苦，
成了一座充满悲伤哀号的城，
我要以它为亚利伊勒。
3 我必四面安营攻击你，
筑起攻城的台来围困你，
堆起高垒攻击你。
4 你必降低，
从地中说话；
你说的话必细微，
如同出于尘土；
你的声音必像交鬼者的声音，从地里出来；
你的言语必像耳语般低微，如同出于尘土。
5 但你敌人的数量必多如灰尘，
那些强暴者的数量也多如被吹散的糠秕，
这必在顷刻之间，突然发生。
6 万军之耶和华必用雷轰、地震、大声、
旋风、暴风和吞灭人的火焰来惩罚他们。
7 那时，所有攻击亚利伊勒的列国众军，
就是所有攻击亚利伊勒和它的堡垒，
以及迫害它的，
必如梦景，如夜间的异象。
8 又像饥饿的人在梦中吃饭，
醒了以后，仍然觉得饥饿；
又像口渴的人在梦中喝水，
醒了以后，仍然觉得口渴，
心里还是想喝。
那攻打锡安山的列国众军，
也必这样。
责人民无知与伪善
9 你们留连吧，
自我蒙蔽，继续盲目吧！
你们醉了，却与酒无关，
你们东倒西歪，也不是因为浓酒的缘故。
10 因为耶和华把沉睡的灵，倾倒在你们身上；
他紧闭你们的眼，就是先知；
蒙盖你们的头，就是先见。
11 对你们来说，整个异象就像密封的书卷的话，人把这书卷交给识字的，说：“请念吧！”他必回答：“我不能念，因为它是密封的。” 12 人又把这书卷交给不识字的人，说：“请念吧！”他必回答：“我不识字。”
13 主说：
“因为这子民只用言语来亲近我，
用嘴唇尊崇我，
他们的心却远离我。
他们对我的敬畏，只是遵从传统的吩咐。
14 因此，看哪！我要再向这子民施行奇事，
就是奇妙又奇妙的事；
他们智慧人的智慧必要消没，
他们聪明人的聪明必被隐藏。”
15 那些向耶和华深藏谋略的人，有祸了！
他们在暗中行事，说：
“谁看见我们？谁知道我们？”
16 你们颠倒事理了！
窑匠怎能被看作泥土呢？
被造的怎能对造它的说：“他没有造我”？
制成品怎可对制成它的说：“他不聪明”？
谦卑者将来的快乐
17 不是还有一点点的时候，
黎巴嫩就要变为肥田，
肥田就要被看为树林吗？
18 到那日，聋子必听见这书卷上的话；
瞎子的眼，必在迷蒙黑暗中也能看见。
19 困苦的必因耶和华增添喜乐；
贫穷的人必因以色列的圣者而快乐。
20 因为强暴人归于无有，好讥笑人的必被灭绝；
所有意图行恶的，必被剪除。
21 他们只用一句话就定了人的罪，
又设下网罗来陷害城门口那执行裁判的，
用毫无根据的事屈枉义人。
22 因此，曾经救赎亚伯拉罕的耶和华，论到雅各家时，这样说：
“雅各今后必不再羞愧，他的面容也不再变为苍白，
23 因为他看见了他的子孙在他中间，
就是我手所作的。
他们必尊我的名为圣，
必尊雅各的圣者为圣，
也必敬畏以色列的 神。
24 那些心中迷惑的，必明白真理，
那些发怨言的，必接受教训。”

大卫安营的城啊！
你有祸了！
尽管你年复一年地守节期，
2 我还是要叫你受苦。
你必悲伤哀号，
在我面前成为一座祭坛。
3 我必把你团团围住，
屯兵围困你，
修筑高台攻打你。
4 你必一败涂地，
躺在尘土中说话，
你细微的声音从土中传来，
好像地下幽灵的声音。
你耳语般的低声从土中传来。
5 但你的众仇敌必像纤细的尘埃一样消散，
众多的残暴之徒必如被风刮去的糠秕。
突然，刹那之间，
6 万军之耶和华必带着雷轰、地震、巨响、旋风、暴风和烈火来临。
7 攻打、围困耶路撒冷及其堡垒的各国军队必如梦幻，
如夜间的异象一样消失。
8 他们好像饥饿的人梦中吃饭，
醒来仍然饥饿；
像口渴的人梦中喝水，
醒来仍然渴得发昏。
攻打锡安山的各国军队结局都必如此。”
9 你们驻足惊奇吧！
你们自我蒙蔽，继续瞎眼吧！
你们醉了，但不是因为酒；
你们东倒西歪，但不是因为烈酒。
10 因为耶和华把沉睡的灵倾倒在你们身上，
祂封住你们的眼睛，
盖住你们的头。
你们的眼睛就是先知，
你们的头就是先见。
11 对你们而言，所有的启示都好像封了印的书卷。你们把书卷交给识字的人读，他会说：“我不能读，这书卷是封着的。” 12 你们把书卷交给不识字的人读，他会说：“我不识字。”
13 主说：“这些人嘴上亲近我，
尊崇我，心却远离我。
他们敬拜我不过是遵行人定的规条。
14 所以，我要再次行奇妙无比的事，使他们震惊。
他们智者的智慧必泯灭，
明哲的聪明必消失。”
15 那些向耶和华深藏计谋的人有祸了！
他们暗中行事，
自以为无人看见也无人知道。
16 他们太愚蠢了！
窑匠怎能跟泥土相提并论？
被造的怎能对造它的说：
“你没有造我”？
陶器怎能对陶匠说：
“你什么也不懂”？
17 再过不久，黎巴嫩将变成沃野，
沃野上庄稼茂密如林。
18 那时，聋子必听见那书卷上的话，
黑暗中的瞎子必能看见。
19 卑微的人必因耶和华而欢喜，
贫穷的人必因以色列的圣者而快乐。
20 残暴之徒必消失，
嘲讽者必绝迹，
所有心怀不轨者必被铲除。
21 他们诬陷人，
暗算审判官，
冤枉无辜。
22 因此，关于雅各家，
救赎亚伯拉罕的耶和华说：
“雅各的子孙必不再羞愧，
脸上再无惧色。
23 因为他们看见我赐给他们的子孙时，
必尊我的名为圣，
必尊雅各的圣者为圣，
必敬畏以色列的上帝。
24 心里迷惘的必明白真理，
发怨言的必欣然受教。”

Woe to David’s City
29 Woe(A) to you, Ariel, Ariel,(B)
the city(C) where David settled!
Add year to year
and let your cycle of festivals(D) go on.
2 Yet I will besiege Ariel;(E)
she will mourn and lament,(F)
she will be to me like an altar hearth.[a](G)
3 I will encamp against you on all sides;
I will encircle(H) you with towers
and set up my siege works(I) against you.
4 Brought low, you will speak from the ground;
your speech will mumble(J) out of the dust.(K)
Your voice will come ghostlike(L) from the earth;
out of the dust your speech will whisper.(M)
5 But your many enemies will become like fine dust,(N)
the ruthless(O) hordes like blown chaff.(P)
Suddenly,(Q) in an instant,
6 the Lord Almighty will come(R)
with thunder(S) and earthquake(T) and great noise,
with windstorm and tempest(U) and flames of a devouring fire.(V)
7 Then the hordes of all the nations(W) that fight against Ariel,(X)
that attack her and her fortress and besiege her,
will be as it is with a dream,(Y)
with a vision in the night—
8 as when a hungry person dreams of eating,
but awakens(Z) hungry still;
as when a thirsty person dreams of drinking,
but awakens faint and thirsty still.(AA)
So will it be with the hordes of all the nations
that fight against Mount Zion.(AB)
9 Be stunned and amazed,(AC)
blind yourselves and be sightless;(AD)
be drunk,(AE) but not from wine,(AF)
stagger,(AG) but not from beer.
10 The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep:(AH)
He has sealed your eyes(AI) (the prophets);(AJ)
he has covered your heads (the seers).(AK)
11 For you this whole vision(AL) is nothing but words sealed(AM) in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” 12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”
13 The Lord says:
“These people(AN) come near to me with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,(AO)
but their hearts are far from me.(AP)
Their worship of me
is based on merely human rules they have been taught.[b](AQ)
14 Therefore once more I will astound these people
with wonder upon wonder;(AR)
the wisdom of the wise(AS) will perish,
the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.(AT)”
15 Woe to those who go to great depths
to hide(AU) their plans from the Lord,
who do their work in darkness and think,
“Who sees us?(AV) Who will know?”(AW)
16 You turn things upside down,
as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!(AX)
Shall what is formed say to the one who formed(AY) it,
“You did not make me”?
Can the pot say to the potter,(AZ)
“You know nothing”?(BA)
17 In a very short time,(BB) will not Lebanon(BC) be turned into a fertile field(BD)
and the fertile field seem like a forest?(BE)
18 In that day(BF) the deaf(BG) will hear the words of the scroll,
and out of gloom and darkness(BH)
the eyes of the blind will see.(BI)
19 Once more the humble(BJ) will rejoice in the Lord;
the needy(BK) will rejoice in the Holy One(BL) of Israel.
20 The ruthless(BM) will vanish,(BN)
the mockers(BO) will disappear,
and all who have an eye for evil(BP) will be cut down—
21 those who with a word make someone out to be guilty,
who ensnare the defender in court(BQ)
and with false testimony(BR) deprive the innocent of justice.(BS)
22 Therefore this is what the Lord, who redeemed(BT) Abraham,(BU) says to the descendants of Jacob:
“No longer will Jacob be ashamed;(BV)
no longer will their faces grow pale.(BW)
23 When they see among them their children,(BX)
the work of my hands,(BY)
they will keep my name holy;(BZ)
they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One(CA) of Jacob,
and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
24 Those who are wayward(CB) in spirit will gain understanding;(CC)
those who complain will accept instruction.”(CD)
