以西结见异象
1 当三十年四月初五日，以西结[a]在迦巴鲁河边被掳的人中，天就开了，得见神的异象。 2 正是约雅斤王被掳去第五年四月初五日， 3 在迦勒底人之地迦巴鲁河边，耶和华的话特特临到布西的儿子祭司以西结，耶和华的灵[b]降在他身上。
见四活物
4 我观看，见狂风从北方刮来，随着有一朵包括闪烁火的大云，周围有光辉，从其中的火内发出好像光耀的精金。 5 又从其中显出四个活物的形象来，他们的形状是这样：有人的形象， 6 各有四个脸面、四个翅膀。 7 他们的腿是直的，脚掌好像牛犊之蹄，都灿烂如光明的铜。 8 在四面的翅膀以下有人的手。这四个活物的脸和翅膀乃是这样： 9 翅膀彼此相接，行走并不转身，俱各直往前行。 10 至于脸的形象，前面各有人的脸，右面各有狮子的脸，左面各有牛的脸，后面各有鹰的脸。 11 各展开上边的两个翅膀相接，各以下边的两个翅膀遮体。 12 他们俱各直往前行，灵往哪里去，他们就往哪里去，行走并不转身。 13 至于四活物的形象，就如烧着火炭的形状，又如火把的形状。火在四活物中间上去下来，这火有光辉，从火中发出闪电。 14 这活物往来奔走，好像电光一闪。
见四轮
15 我正观看活物的时候，见活物的脸旁各有一轮在地上。 16 轮的形状和颜色[c]好像水苍玉。四轮都是一个样式，形状和做法好像轮中套轮。 17 轮行走的时候，向四方都能直行，并不掉转。 18 至于轮辋，高而可畏，四个轮辋周围满有眼睛。 19 活物行走，轮也在旁边行走；活物从地上升，轮也都上升。 20 灵往哪里去，活物就往哪里去；活物上升，轮也在活物旁边上升，因为活物的灵在轮中。 21 那些行走，这些也行走；那些站住，这些也站住；那些从地上升，轮也在旁边上升，因为活物的灵在轮中。
22 活物的头以上有穹苍的形象，看着像可畏的水晶，铺张在活物的头以上。 23 穹苍以下，活物的翅膀直张，彼此相对，每活物有两个翅膀遮体。 24 活物行走的时候，我听见翅膀的响声，像大水的声音，像全能者的声音，也像军队哄嚷的声音。活物站住的时候，便将翅膀垂下。 25 在他们头以上的穹苍之上有声音；他们站住的时候，便将翅膀垂下。

26 在他们头以上的穹苍之上有宝座的形象，仿佛蓝宝石，在宝座形象以上有仿佛人的形状。 27 我见从他腰以上有仿佛光耀的精金，周围都有火的形状，又见从他腰以下有仿佛火的形状，周围也有光辉。 28 下雨的日子云中虹的形状怎样，周围光辉的形状也是怎样。这就是耶和华荣耀的形象。我一看见就俯伏在地，又听见一位说话的声音。

에스겔의 첫번째 환상
1 [a]내가 서른 살 되던 해 4월 5일에 바빌로니아의 그발 강가에서 포로들과 함께 있 을 때 갑자기 하늘이 열려 나는 하나님이 보여 주시는 환상을 보게 되었다.
2 이것은 여호야긴왕이 포로로 잡혀간 지 5년째가 되던 해였다.
3 그 곳 그발 강가에서 부시의 아들인 제사장 나 에스겔에게 여호와께서 특별히 말씀을 주셨는데 그때 [b]나는 여호와의 손길이 내 위에 있는 것을 느꼈다.
4 나는 환상 중에 북쪽에서 폭풍을 몰고 오는 큰 구름을 보았다. 그 속에서 불이 번쩍번쩍하고 주위에는 찬란한 빛이 비치고 있었으며 그 불 가운데는 벌겋게 달아오른 쇠 같은 것이 보였다.
5 그리고 그 속에 네 생물 같은 형체가 나타나 있었다. 그 모양은 사람 같으면서도
6 각각 네 얼굴과 네 날개를 갖고 있었고
7 다리는 곧고 발은 송아지 발처럼 굽이 갈라졌으며 다리 전체가 반질반질 잘 닦은 구리처럼 빛나고 있었다.
8 또 그 생물들은 각각 네 개의 얼굴과 네 개의 날개 외에도 네 개의 손을 가지고 있었는데 그 손은 사면의 날개 아래에 하나씩 달려 있었다.
9 그리고 그들의 네 날개는 다 하나로 연결되어 있었으며 그들이 움직일 때는 돌지 않고 곧장 앞으로 나아갔다.
10 각 생물들은 모양이 다른 네 개의 얼굴을 가지고 있었으며 모두 앞은 사람의 얼굴이었고 우측은 사자의 얼굴, 좌측은 소의 얼굴, 뒤는 독수리의 얼굴이었다.
11 그리고 그 생물의 두 날개는 위로 펴져서 그 끝이 서로 연결되어 있었고 나머지 두 날개는 몸을 가리고 있었다.
12 각 생물들은 [c]사방으로 향하고 있어서 전체가 움직일 때는 돌지 않고 가고 싶은 대로 곧장 갔다.
13 그리고 그 생물들 사이에는 타오르는 숯불 같기도 하고 횃불 같기도 한 것이 이리저리 계속 움직이고 있었는데 그 불은 아주 밝고 그 속에서는 번개가 치며
14 그 생물들은 번개처럼 이리저리 빠르게 움직이고 있었다.
15 내가 그 생물들을 보니 생물들 곁에 네 개의 바퀴가 지면에 닿아 있었는데 그것은 각 생물 곁에 하나씩 있었다.
16 그 바퀴들은 보석처럼 빛나고 있었고 그 모양과 구조는 다 똑같았으며 바퀴 안에 바퀴가 들어 있는 것 같았다.
17 그것이 움직일 때에는 아무 방향이라도 원하는 대로 돌지 않고 곧장 갔으며
18 바퀴 둘레는 높고 무섭게 생겼고 돌아가면서 눈이 가득하였다.
19 그 생물들이 움직일 때 곁에 있는 바퀴도 움직이고 그 생물들이 땅에서 들릴 때 바퀴도 따라서 들렸다.
20 그 생물들은 어디든지 자기들이 원하는 곳으로 갔으며 그 생물들이 움직일 때에는 바퀴도 따라서 들렸다. [d]이것은 생물들이 그 바퀴를 조종하기 때문이었다.
21 그래서 그 생물들이 움직이거나 멈추거나 들릴 때마다 바퀴도 꼭 그대로 되었다.
22 그 생물들의 머리 위에는 수정처럼 반짝거리는 둥근 반구 같은 것이 펼쳐져 있었으며 그것은 아주 무섭게 보였다.
23 그 반구 아래에는 생물들이 두 날개를 서로를 향해 펴고 다른 두 날개로 그들의 몸을 가리고 있었다.
24 그 생물들이 움직일 때 내가 날개에서 나는 소리를 들으니 [e]폭포 소리와도 같고 전능하신 분의 음성과도 같으며 큰 군대의 함성과도 같았다. 그 생물들이 설 때에는 날개를 아래로 내렸다.
25 그러나 생물들이 멈출 때마다 그 생물들의 머리 위에 있는 반구 모양의 형체 위에서 계속 소리가 났다.
26 그 반구 위에는 청옥으로 만든 보좌 같은 것이 있고 보좌 위에는 사람 같은 형체가 있었으며
27 허리 상반신은 벌겋게 달아오른 쇠 같아서 전체가 불덩어리처럼 보였고 허리 하반신도 불 같아서 사방으로 찬란한 광채가 나고 있었다.
28 그리고 그 주위에는 비 오는 날 구름 속의 무지개처럼 빛나는 광채가 있었는데 이것은 여호와께서 나타나신 것을 보여 주는 영광의 광채였다. 나는 그것을 보고 엎드려 나에게 말씀하시는 분의 음성을 듣게 되었다.

1 第三十年四月五日，我正在迦巴魯河畔被擄的人當中，忽然天開了，我看見了上帝的異象。 2 那是約雅斤王被擄第五年的四月五日， 3 就在迦勒底人境內的迦巴魯河畔，耶和華的話特別傳給了布西的兒子以西結祭司，耶和華的能力[a]降在他身上。
4 在異象中，我看見一陣狂風從北方颳來，隨後有一大朵雲閃耀著火光，四周環繞著燦爛的光芒，火的中心像發光的金屬。 5 火中有四個像人形的活物， 6 每個活物有四張不同的面孔和四個翅膀。 7 他們的腿是直的，腳如同牛犢的蹄，都亮如磨光的銅。 8 四面的翅膀下都有人的手，四個活物都有臉和翅膀， 9 翅膀彼此相連。他們移動時不必轉身，各朝前面移動。 10 四個活物的面孔是這樣的：正面是人的臉，右面是獅子的臉，左面是牛的臉，後面是鷹的臉。 11 他們的翅膀向上展開，每個活物的一對翅膀與其他活物的翅膀相連，另外一對翅膀遮蔽身體。 12 耶和華的靈往哪裡去，他們也往哪裡去，移動時不用轉身。 13 四個活物的形像如燃燒的火炭，又像火把。活物之間有火上下移動，發出耀眼的閃電。 14 這些活物像閃電一樣往來飛馳。
15 當我觀看這些活物的時候，發現每個活物旁邊的地上都有一個輪子。 16 四個輪子的形狀和結構都一樣，好像輪套輪，如同閃耀的綠寶石。 17 他們可以向四面移動，移動時輪子不必轉向。 18 輪圈高而可畏，周圍佈滿了眼睛。 19 活物行走，輪子也在旁邊行走；活物上升，輪子也上升。 20 靈往哪裡去，活物也往哪裡去，輪子也跟著往哪裡去，因為活物的靈在輪子裡。 21 活物行走，輪子也行走；活物站立不動，輪子也站立不動；活物上升，輪子也跟著上升，因為活物的靈在輪子裡。
22 活物的頭上好像鋪展著茫茫的穹蒼，如同頂著耀眼的水晶。 23 穹蒼下四個活物伸展翅膀，彼此相對，各用兩個翅膀遮蔽身體。 24 他們移動時，翅膀發出的響聲如洪濤之聲，既像全能者的聲音，又像軍隊的呐喊。活物站住的時候，便將翅膀垂下。 25 他們站立垂下翅膀時，有聲音從他們頭頂的穹蒼之上傳來。
26 在他們頭頂的穹蒼之上彷彿有藍寶石的寶座，有一位形狀像人的高高坐在寶座上。 27 我看到祂的腰部以上好像燒紅發亮的金屬，好像有火四面環繞。腰部以下如同火焰。祂周圍有耀眼的光輝， 28 彷彿雨天雲中的彩虹。
這是耶和華榮耀的形像。我一看見，便俯伏在地，隨後聽見有說話的聲音。

Ezekiel’s Inaugural Vision
1 In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles(A) by the Kebar River,(B) the heavens were opened(C) and I saw visions(D) of God.
2 On the fifth of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin(E)— 3 the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel(F) the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians.[a] There the hand of the Lord was on him.(G)
4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm(H) coming out of the north(I)—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal,(J) 5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures.(K) In appearance their form was human,(L) 6 but each of them had four faces(M) and four wings. 7 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.(N) 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands.(O) All four of them had faces and wings, 9 and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.(P)
10 Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.(Q) 11 Such were their faces. They each had two wings(R) spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body. 12 Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.(S) 13 The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals(T) of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning(U) flashed out of it. 14 The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.(V)
15 As I looked at the living creatures,(W) I saw a wheel(X) on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. 16 This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz,(Y) and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. 17 As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction(Z) as the creatures went. 18 Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes(AA) all around.
19 When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. 20 Wherever the spirit would go, they would go,(AB) and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 21 When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.(AC)
22 Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault,(AD) sparkling like crystal, and awesome. 23 Under the vault their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body. 24 When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing(AE) waters, like the voice(AF) of the Almighty,[b] like the tumult of an army.(AG) When they stood still, they lowered their wings.
25 Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne(AH) of lapis lazuli,(AI) and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.(AJ) 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.(AK) 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow(AL) in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.(AM)
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory(AN) of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown,(AO) and I heard the voice of one speaking.
