14 因為基督耶穌親自給我們帶來了和平，以自己的身體拆毀了以色列人和外族人之間充滿敵意的隔牆，使雙方合而為一， 15 並廢除了以誡命和規條為內容的律法制度。祂這樣做是為了在自己裡面把雙方造成一個新人，成就和平， 16 並藉著十字架消滅彼此間的敵意，使雙方藉著一個身體與上帝和好。 17 祂來傳揚這平安的福音給你們這些離上帝很遠的外族人，也給我們這些離上帝很近的以色列人。 18 我們雙方都是靠著祂在同一位聖靈的引導下來到父上帝面前。
19 從此，你們不再是外人或過客，你們與眾聖徒一樣是天國的子民，是上帝家裡的人了。 20 你們已被建立在眾使徒和先知們的基礎上，基督耶穌自己是房角石。 21 整座建築的各部分都靠祂巧妙地連接在一起，逐漸成為主的聖殿。 22 你們也靠著祂被建造在一起，成為上帝藉著聖靈居住的地方。

New International Version
14 For he himself is our peace,(A) who has made the two groups one(B) and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh(C) the law with its commands and regulations.(D) His purpose was to create in himself one(E) new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross,(F) by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace(G) to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.(H) 18 For through him we both have access(I) to the Father(J) by one Spirit.(K)
19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers,(L) but fellow citizens(M) with God’s people and also members of his household,(N) 20 built(O) on the foundation(P) of the apostles and prophets,(Q) with Christ Jesus himself(R) as the chief cornerstone.(S) 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple(T) in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.(U)
