イエス、悪霊を追い出す
5 やがて一行は湖を渡り、向こう岸のゲラサ人の地に着きました。 2 イエスが小舟をおりる間もなく、悪霊に取りつかれた男が墓場から走って来て、イエスを迎えました。
3-4 この男は墓場に寝起きしていましたが、たいへんな強力で、手かせ足かせをはめられても、たちまち引きちぎって逃げてしまうのでした。そんなわけで、だれもこの男を取り押さえることができません。 5 昼も夜も大声でわめき、とがった石で体をかきむしりながら、墓場や山の中をさまよい歩いていました。
6 この男は、イエスがまだ遠く湖上におられる時からその姿を認め、走り寄って来てイエスの前まで来ると、いきなり地にひれ伏しました。
7-8 その時です。イエスは男に取りついている悪霊に、「悪霊よ、出て行きなさい」とお命じになりました。すると悪霊は、ぞっとするような声で、「おれを、どうしようというんだ。頼むから、苦しめないでくれ！ いと高き神の子、イエスよ」とわめきたてました。 9 イエスが「おまえの名前は？」と聞くと、「レギオン（ローマの軍隊の一軍団）だ。おれたちは大ぜいでこの男に取りついているのだ」と、悪霊は答えました。 10 それから、自分たちを遠方へ追い払わないでほしいと、しきりに頼み続けました。
11 その時、湖畔に沿った丘の上で、豚の大群がえさをあさっていました。 12 悪霊どもは、「おれたちをあの豚の中へやってくれ」と願いました。 13 イエスがお許しになると、悪霊はすぐさまその男から出て、豚の中に入りました。とたんに、二千匹もの群れがいっせいにがけを駆け降り、湖に飛び込んでおぼれ死んでしまいました。
14 豚飼いたちは近くの町や村に逃げて行き、この出来事をふれ回りました。人々は自分の目で確かめようと、ぞろぞろと出かけて来ました。 15 たちまちイエスの回りは黒山の人だかりとなり、しかも、うわさの男は、服を着て、すっかり正気に戻って座っているではありませんか。人々は恐ろしくなりました。 16 初めからこの出来事を目撃していた人たちが、みんなに一部始終を説明しました。 17 それを聞くと、人々はイエスに、かかわりあいになりたくないから、どこかへ行ってほしいと願い始めたのです。 18 イエスはまた舟に乗り込みました。悪霊につかれていた男が、「ぜひお伴を」と願いましたが、 19 お許しにならず、「家族や、友人のところへお帰りなさい。神がどんなにすばらしいことをしてくださったか、また、どんなにあわれんでくださったかを話してあげなさい」と言われました。 20 男はさっそくデカポリス地方を回り、イエスがどんなにすばらしいことをしてくださったかを知らせました。その話を聞いた人々はみな驚きました。
イエス、少女を生き返らせる
21 イエスがもう一度、舟で向こう岸へ渡られると、大ぜいの群衆が詰めかけました。
22 そこへ、その地方の会堂管理人で、ヤイロという名の人が来て、イエスの前にひれ伏しました。 23 娘を助けてほしいというのです。「先生。私の娘が死にかけています。まだ、ほんの子どもなのに……。どうぞ、娘の上に手を置き、治してやってください。」
24 そこで、イエスはヤイロといっしょに出かけました。群衆は押し合いへし合い、イエスについて行きます。 25 その中に、出血の止まらない病気で十二年間も苦しみ続けてきた女がいました。 26 多くの医者にかかり、さんざん苦しい目に会い、治療代で財産をすっかり使い果たしてしまいましたが、病気はよくなるどころか、悪化する一方でした。 27 イエスがこれまでに行ったすばらしい奇跡を耳にした彼女は、人ごみにまぎれて近づき、背後からイエスの着物にさわりました。 28 「せめて、この方の着物にでも手を触れさせていただけば、きっと治る」と考えたのです。 29 さわったとたん、出血が止まり、彼女は病気が治ったと感じました。
30 イエスはすぐ、自分から病気を治す力が出て行ったのに気づき、群衆のほうをふり向いて、「今、わたしにさわったのはだれですか」とお尋ねになりました。 31 「こんなに大ぜいの人がひしめき合っているのです。それなのに、だれがさわったのかと聞かれるのですか。」弟子たちはけげんな顔で答えました。
32 それでもなおイエスは、あたりを見回しておられます。 33 恐ろしくなった女は、自分の身に起こったことを知り、震えながら進み出てイエスの足もとにひれ伏し、ありのままを正直に話しました。 34 イエスは言われました。「娘さん。あなたの信仰があなたを治したのです。もう大丈夫です。いつまでも元気でいるのですよ。」
35 こう話しておられる時、ヤイロの家から使いの者が来て、娘は死んでしまったので、来ていただいても手遅れだと伝えました。 36 しかしイエスは、ヤイロに言われました。「恐れてはいけません。ただわたしを信じなさい。」
37 イエスは群衆をその場にとどまらせ、ペテロとヤコブとヨハネのほかは、だれもついて来ることをお許しになりませんでした。 38 ヤイロの家に着くと、だれもかれも取り乱し、大声で泣いたり、わめいたり、たいへんな騒ぎになっています。これを見たイエスは、 39 中に入り、「なぜ、そんなに取り乱しているのですか。子どもは死んだのではありません。ただ眠っているだけです」と言われました。
40 それを聞いた人々は、イエスをあざ笑いました。しかし、イエスはみなを家の外に出すと、娘の両親と三人の弟子だけを連れて、娘のいる部屋に入られました。
41 そして娘の手を取り、「さあ、起きなさい」と声をかけました。 42 するとどうでしょう。少女はすぐに起き上がり、歩き始めたではありませんか〔娘はこの時、十二歳でした〕。両親は、ただあっけにとられています。 43 イエスは、このことを決して口外しないようにときびしくお命じになってから、少女に何か食べさせるように言われました。

耶稣让一个人摆脱邪灵
5 耶稣和门徒们渡过湖，来到格拉森人居住的地区。 2 耶稣一下船，就有一个被邪灵附体的人从坟地里来见他。 3 这个人住在坟地里，没人能捆住他，连锁链也捆不住他。 4 他曾屡次被人用镣铐锁住手脚，但是他挣断了锁链，砸开了脚镣。谁也制服不了他。 5 他昼夜在坟地和山野中嚎叫，用石头砸自己的身体。
6 他远远地看见了耶稣，就飞奔过来，跪倒在耶稣面前，
9 耶稣问他∶“你叫什么名字？”
那人回答说∶“我的名字叫军团 [a]，因为有很多邪灵附在我体内。” 10 在他体内的邪灵们一遍又一遍地乞求耶稣不要把他们驱逐出这个地区。
11 这时候，有一大群猪正在山坡上吃食。 12 邪灵们乞求耶稣道∶“把我们派到猪群里去吧，这样我们就可以钻到它们身上。” 13 耶稣准许了他们，邪灵们离开那个人，钻到猪身上去了。于是，猪群狂奔下山崖，掉进湖里淹死了，那群猪大约有两千多头。
14 养猪的人跑了，他们把这事告诉了城镇和乡村的人们。人们都出来，想看看究竟发生了什么事。 15 他们来到耶稣那里，看到那个曾被许多邪灵附体的人正坐在那里。他已经穿上了衣服，神智已恢复了正常，他们都很害怕。 16 一些目击者把这个被鬼附身的人所遇到的事和关于猪群的事告诉给其它人， 17 人们都央求耶稣离开此地。
18 耶稣上船要离开时，那个曾被鬼附体的人央求着要与他一同走。 19 但是耶稣没有应许，对他说∶“回去和你的家人及朋友们在一起吧！告诉他们主为你做的一切和主对你所施的怜悯。”
20 于是，那个人走了。他在低加波利 [b]向人们讲述主为他做的大事，人们都为此感到惊讶。
耶稣救活已死的女孩，还治好了病妇
21 耶稣上船渡回到湖对岸，又有很多人聚集在那里。耶稣站在湖边。 22 有个名叫睚鲁的犹太会堂管事来到那里，他一见到耶稣，就跪在他的脚边， 23 再三地恳求他说∶“我的小女儿快要死了。求你来把手按在她身上，让她痊愈，复活过来。”
24 耶稣就跟他去了。一大群人跟着他，簇拥在他周围。
25 人群中有个患血漏十二年的女子， 26 她看过不少医生，受了不少罪，为治病花光了所有的钱。可是病情不但没有好转，反而更加恶化了。 27 她听说耶稣的事迹，就挤进人群，来到耶稣身后，摸了一下耶稣的长袍。 28 她想∶“我只要摸一下他的衣服，我的病就会好了。” 29 果然她的血漏止住了，她感觉到自己体内的病治好了。 30 耶稣立刻感觉到有能量从他身上散发了。他停下脚步，转身问道∶“谁摸了我？”
31 耶稣的门徒对他说∶“许多人都在拥挤着你，但你却问‘谁摸了我？’”
32 但是，耶稣仍旧在人群中搜寻摸了他衣服的人。 33 那个吓得发抖的女子明白发生在自己身上的事，便战战兢兢地走上前俯伏在耶稣面前，就把事情经过一五一十地告诉了耶稣。 34 耶稣对她说∶“亲爱的女子，你的信仰治愈了你。平平安安地走吧，你不会再遭罪了。”
35 正当耶稣说话时，一些男人从会堂管事睚鲁家里赶来报信，他们说∶“你女儿已经死了，何必还麻烦老师呢？”
36 耶稣无意听到这话，就对管事说∶“不要害怕，尽管相信就是了。”
37 耶稣只让彼得、雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰跟着他。 38 他们来到会堂管事的家里，看见里面乱轰轰的，人们正在嚎啕大哭。 39 耶稣走进去，对他们说∶“你们为什么又叫又哭？这孩子没有死，她只是睡着了。” 40 但是人们却嘲笑耶稣。耶稣让其他人出去，只带着孩子的父母和他的三个门徒来到孩子的房间。 41 他握住孩子的手，对她说∶“大利大，古米！”（意思是“小姑娘，我要你站起来！”） 42 女孩马上站起来，下床四处走起来，（她当时十二岁。）人们顿时惊得目瞪口呆。 43 耶稣严厉地命令她父母，不让他们把此事告给人们， 然后，耶稣吩咐他们拿些东西给女孩吃。

5 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.
18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.
19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.
22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,
23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
