26 “உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குத் தருகின்ற தேசத்தில் நீங்கள் விரைவில் நுழையப் போகிறீர்கள். நீங்கள் அந்த நிலத்தில் குடிகொண்டு சுதந்திரமாய் வாழப் போகிறீர்கள். 2 கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு வழங்கிய நிலத்தில் விளைந்தவற்றை நீங்கள் அறுவடை செய்யும்போது, உங்களின் விளைச்சலின் முதல் பலனை கூடைகளில் எடுத்து வைத்துவிட வேண்டும். பின் நீங்கள் அறுவடை செய்ததின் முதல் பங்கை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சிறப்பாகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த அவரது ஆலயத்திற்கு கொண்டுசென்று, 3 அங்கே ஆலய சேவையில் இருக்கின்ற ஆசாரியரிடம்: ‘கர்த்தர் நமது முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஒரு தேசத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டார். இன்று தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில், நான் அந்தத் தேசத்திற்கு வந்து விட்டேன் என்று அறிக்கையிடுகிறேன்’ என்று கூறு.
4 “பின் அந்த ஆசாரியன் உன்னிடமிருந்து அந்தக் கூடையை எடுத்து கர்த்தருடைய பலிபீடத்திற்கு முன்பு வைப்பான். 5 பின் அவ்விடத்தில் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் முன்பு நீங்கள்: ‘அலைந்து திரிந்த அரேமியரான எனது முற்பிதாக்கள் எகிப்துக்குச் சென்று அங்கு தங்கினார்கள். செல்லும்போது கொஞ்சம் ஜனங்களே அவன் குடும்பத்தினராய் இருந்தனர். ஆனால் எகிப்தில் அவர்கள் பெரிய ஜனமாக பெருகினார்கள். வலிமை வாய்ந்த ஜனமாக அதிக ஜனங்களை கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தனர். 6 எகிப்தியர்கள் எங்களைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தி, எங்களை அடிமைகளாக்கினார்கள். எங்களை வேதனைப்படுத்தி மிகவும் கடினமான வேலைகளைச் செய்யும்படி கட்டாயப்படுத்தினார்கள். 7 பின் நாங்கள் எங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடம் ஜெபித்தோம். அவர்களைப்பற்றி முறையீடு செய்தோம். கர்த்தர் நாங்கள் கூறியவற்றைக் கேட்டார். எங்களது இன்னல்களையும், கடின உழைப்பையும், நாங்கள் அடைந்த வருத்தங்களையும் கர்த்தர் பார்த்தார். 8 பின் கர்த்தர் எகிப்திலிருந்து எங்களைத் தனது மிகுந்த ஆற்றலாலும், பலத்தினாலும் மீட்டுக்கொண்டு வந்தார். அவர் மிகுந்த அற்புதங்களையும், அதிசயங்களையும் பயன்படுத்தினார். வியக்கத்தக்க நிகழ்ச்சிகளைச் செய்தார். 9 அதனால் எங்களை இந்த தேசத்திற்கு மீட்டுக் கொண்டு வந்தார். பாலும், தேனும் ஓடக் கூடிய இந்த வளமான தேசத்தை எங்களுக்குத் தந்தார். 10 இப்போதும் இதோ கர்த்தாவே நீர் எங்களுக்குத் தந்த தேசத்திலிருந்து நாங்கள் பெற்ற முதல் அறுவடையின் பலனைக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளோம்’ என்று சொல்ல வேண்டும்.
“பின் நீங்கள் அந்த அறுவடையின் பலனை உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் முன்பு வைத்து தாழ்ந்து பணிந்து அவரை ஆராதிக்க வேண்டும். 11 பின் நீங்கள் சேர்ந்து உண்டு மகிழ்ந்து உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கும், உங்கள் குடும்பத்திற்கும் கொடுத்த எல்லா நன்மைகளினிமித்தமும் நீங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கவேண்டும். நீங்கள் அந்த நன்மைகளில் எல்லாம் லேவியர்களுக்கும் மற்றும் உங்களைச் சார்ந்து வாழ்கின்ற அந்நியர்களுக்கும் பங்களிக்க வேண்டும்.
12 “ஒவ்வொரு மூன்றாவது ஆண்டும் பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கைச் செலுத்தும் ஆண்டாக இருக்கவேண்டும். இந்த வருடத்தில் நீங்கள் உங்கள் அறுவடைப் பலனில் பத்திலொரு பங்கை லேவியருக்கும், உங்கள் நாட்டில் வாழும் அயல்நாட்டு குடிகளுக்கும், விதவைகளுக்கும், அநாதைகளுக்கும் கொடுக்க வேண்டும். பின் ஒவ்வொரு நகரத்திலும் அந்த ஜனங்கள் தாராளமாக, திருப்தியாக உண்டு மகிழ்வார்கள். 13 நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடம், ‘கர்த்தாவே, நான் எனது வீட்டிலிருந்து எனது அறுவடைப் பலனின் பரிசுத்த பங்கு ஒன்றை வெளியே எடுத்துவந்து லேவியருக்கும், அயல் நாட்டு குடிகளுக்கும், அநாதைகளுக்கும், விதவைகளுக்கும் கொடுத்துள்ளேன். நீர் எனக்குத் தந்த எல்லா கட்டளைகளையும் நான் பின்பற்றியுள்ளேன். நான் உமது எந்த கட்டளைக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிய மறுத்ததில்லை. அவற்றை மறந்ததுமில்லை. 14 நான் துக்கமாயிருந்தபோது அதில் எதையும் உண்ணவில்லை. நான் சுத்தமில்லாதவனாக இருந்தபோது அவற்றை சேகரிக்கவில்லை. நான் மரித்தவர்களுக்காக அதிலிருந்து எந்த உணவையும் செலுத்தவில்லை. நான் உமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து இருந்தேன். என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே நீர் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே நான் எல்லா செயல்களையும் செய்துள்ளேன். 15 தேவனே பரலோகத்தில் உமது பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என்னைப் பாரும். உமது இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களை ஆசீர்வதியும். நீர் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசத்தை ஆசீர்வதிப்பீராக. எங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களிடம் ஆணையிட்டபடி எல்லா வளங்களும் கொண்ட பாலும், தேனும் ஓடக் கூடிய நீர் தந்த இந்த தேசத்தை ஆசீர்வதியும்’ என்று கூறுவீர்களாக.
தேவனின் கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள்
16 “இந்த எல்லாச் சட்டங்களுக்கும், விதிகளுக்கும் நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிய, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் இன்று உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகின்றார். நீங்கள் உங்கள் ஆத்ம திருப்தியுடனும், முழு மனதோடும், அவற்றைப் பின்பற்றுவதில் எச்சரிக்கையாய் இருங்கள்! 17 இன்று நீங்கள் கர்த்தரே உங்கள் தேவன் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறீர்கள்! தேவன் விரும்பிய நெறிப்படியே நீங்கள் வாழ்வதாக வாக்களித்துள்ளீர்கள்! அவரது போதனைகளுக்கும், நியாயங்களுக்கும், கட்டளைகளுக்கும், நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிவதாக உறுதி செய்துள்ளீர்கள். நீங்கள் செய்யும்படி கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லிய ஒவ்வொன்றையும் செய்வதாகச் சொன்னீர்கள். 18 இன்று உங்களெல்லோரையும் கர்த்தருடைய சிறப்புக்குரிய சொந்த ஜனங்களாக கர்த்தர் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்! அவர் இப்படிச் செய்ய உங்களிடம் வாக்களித்துள்ளார். அவரது கட்டளைகளுக்கு நீங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும் என்றும் கர்த்தர் சொன்னார். 19 கர்த்தர் தாம் படைத்த மற்றெல்லா ஜனங்களையும்விட, புகழும், பெருமையும், மதிப்பும் கொண்ட சிறந்தவர்களாக உங்களை ஆக்கியுள்ளார். கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு வாக்களித்தபடியே, நீங்களும் அவருக்குச் சொந்தமான விசேஷ ஜனங்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.”

Firstfruits and Tithes
26 When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it, 2 take some of the firstfruits(A) of all that you produce from the soil of the land the Lord your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name(B) 3 and say to the priest in office at the time, “I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the land the Lord swore to our ancestors to give us.” 4 The priest shall take the basket from your hands and set it down in front of the altar of the Lord your God. 5 Then you shall declare before the Lord your God: “My father was a wandering(C) Aramean,(D) and he went down into Egypt with a few people(E) and lived there and became a great nation,(F) powerful and numerous. 6 But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer,(G) subjecting us to harsh labor.(H) 7 Then we cried out to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, and the Lord heard our voice(I) and saw(J) our misery,(K) toil and oppression.(L) 8 So the Lord brought us out of Egypt(M) with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm,(N) with great terror and with signs and wonders.(O) 9 He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey;(P) 10 and now I bring the firstfruits of the soil that you, Lord, have given me.(Q)” Place the basket before the Lord your God and bow down before him. 11 Then you and the Levites(R) and the foreigners residing among you shall rejoice(S) in all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household.
12 When you have finished setting aside a tenth(T) of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe,(U) you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied. 13 Then say to the Lord your God: “I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them.(V) 14 I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean,(W) nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything you commanded me. 15 Look down from heaven,(X) your holy dwelling place, and bless(Y) your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
Follow the Lord’s Commands
16 The Lord your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.(Z) 17 You have declared this day that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in obedience to him, that you will keep his decrees, commands and laws—that you will listen to him.(AA) 18 And the Lord has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession(AB) as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands. 19 He has declared that he will set you in praise,(AC) fame and honor high above all the nations(AD) he has made and that you will be a people holy(AE) to the Lord your God, as he promised.

26 Y SERA que, cuando hubieres entrado en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad, y la poseyeres, y habitares en ella;
2 Entonces tomarás de las primicias de todos los frutos de la tierra, que sacares de tu tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, y lo pondrás en un canastillo, é irás al lugar que Jehová tu Dios escogiere para hacer habitar allí su nombre.
3 Y llegarás al sacerdote que fuere en aquellos días, y le dirás: Reconozco hoy á Jehová tu Dios que he entrado en la tierra que juró Jehová á nuestros padres que nos había de dar.
4 Y el sacerdote tomará el canastillo de tu mano, y pondrálo delante del altar de Jehová tu Dios.
5 Entonces hablarás y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Un Siro á punto de perecer fué mi padre, el cual descendió á Egipto y peregrinó allá con pocos hombres, y allí creció en gente grande, fuerte y numerosa:
6 Y los Egipcios nos maltrataron, y nos afligieron, y pusieron sobre nosotros dura servidumbre.
7 Y clamamos á Jehová Dios de nuestros padres; y oyó Jehová nuestra voz, y vió nuestra aflicción, y nuestro trabajo, y nuestra opresión:
8 Y sacónos Jehová de Egipto con mano fuerte, y con brazo extendido, y con grande espanto, y con señales y con milagros:
9 Y trájonos á este lugar, y diónos esta tierra, tierra que fluye leche y miel.
10 Y ahora, he aquí, he traído las primicias del fruto de la tierra que me diste, oh Jehová. Y lo dejarás delante de Jehová tu Dios, é inclinarte has delante de Jehová tu Dios.
11 Y te alegrarás con todo el bien que Jehová tu Dios te hubiere dado á ti y á tu casa, tú y el Levita, y el extranjero que está en medio de ti.
12 Cuando hubieres acabado de diezmar todo el diezmo de tus frutos en el año tercero, el año del diezmo, darás también al Levita, al extranjero, al huérfano y á la viuda; y comerán en tus villas, y se saciarán.
13 Y dirás delante de Jehová tu Dios: Yo he sacado lo consagrado de mi casa, y también lo he dado al Levita, y al extranjero, y al huérfano, y á la viuda, conforme á todos tus mandamientos que me ordenaste: no he traspasado tus mandamientos, ni me he olvidado de ellos:
14 No he comido de ello en mi luto, ni he sacado de ello en inmundicia, ni de ello he dado para mortuorio: he obedecido á la voz de Jehová mi Dios, he hecho conforme á todo lo que me has mandado.
15 Mira desde la morada de tu santidad, desde el cielo, y bendice á tu pueblo Israel, y á la tierra que nos has dado, como juraste á nuestros padres, tierra que fluye leche y miel.
16 Jehová tu Dios te manda hoy que cumplas estos estatutos y derechos; cuida, pues, de ponerlos por obra con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma.
17 A Jehová has ensalzado hoy para que te sea por Dios, y para andar en sus caminos, y para guardar sus estatutos y sus mandamientos y sus derechos, y para oir su voz:
18 Y Jehová te ha ensalzado hoy para que le seas su peculiar pueblo, como él te lo he dicho, y para que guardes todos sus mandamientos;
19 Y para ponerte alto sobre todas las gentes que hizo, para loor, y fama, y gloria; y para que seas pueblo santo á Jehová tu Dios, como él ha dicho.
