⁹ତା'ପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ଯାଅ ଏବଂ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଅ, ‘ଯଦିଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶୁଣୁଛ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିଛି ବୁଝୁ ନାହଁ। ଯଦିଓ ଦେଖୁଛ, କିଛି ଶିଖୁ ନାହଁ।’

⁹He said, “Go^(A) and tell this people:

“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding;
be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’^(B)

⁹And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand;
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
