131 परमेश्वरा, मी गर्विष्ठ नाही.
मी कुणीतरी मोठा आहे असे मी वागत नाही.
मी खूप भव्य असे काही करायचा प्रयत्न करत नाही.
मी माझ्या आवाक्या बाहेरच्या गोष्टींची चिंता कधीच करत नाही.
2 मी अगदी अविचल आहे.
माझा आत्मा शांत आहे.
माझा आत्मा आईच्या कुशीत समाधान पावलेल्या
बाळासारखा अविचल आणि शांत आहे.
3 इस्राएल, परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेव.
त्याच्यावर आता आणि सदैव विश्वास ठेवत राहा.

King James Version
131 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3 Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.

131 Lord, my heart is not [a]haughty,
Nor my eyes [b]lofty.
(A)Neither do I [c]concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too [d]profound for me.
2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
(B)Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 (C)O Israel, hope in the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
