लकवे के रोगी को स्वास्थ्यदान
(मत्ति 9:2-8; लूकॉस 5:17-26)
2 कुछ दिन बाद मसीह येशु के कफ़रनहूम नगर लौटने पर वहाँ यह समाचार फैल गया कि वह लौट आए हैं. 2 वहाँ इतनी विशाल भीड़ इकट्ठा हो गई कि कहीं कोई स्थान शेष न रहा—यहाँ तक कि द्वार के सामने भी नहीं और मसीह येशु पवित्रशास्त्र से शिक्षा दे रहे थे. 3 कुछ लोग एक लकवे के रोगी को उनके पास लाए, जिसे चार व्यक्तियों ने उठाया हुआ था. 4 भीड़ के कारण वे मसीह येशु के पास पहुँचने में असमर्थ थे, इसलिए उन्होंने जहाँ मसीह येशु थे, वहाँ की कच्ची छत को हटा कर वहाँ से उस रोगी को बिछौने सहित नीचे उतार दिया. 5 उनके इस विश्वास को देख मसीह येशु ने लकवे के रोगी से कहा, “पुत्र, तुम्हारे पाप क्षमा हो चुके हैं.”
6 वहाँ मौज़ूद कुछ शास्त्री अपने मन में यह विचार करने लगे, 7 “यह व्यक्ति ऐसा क्यों कह रहा है? यह तो परमेश्वर-निन्दा कर रहा है! परमेश्वर के अतिरिक्त कौन पापों को क्षमा कर सकता है?” 8 मसीह येशु को अपनी आत्मा में उसी क्षण यह मालूम हो गया कि वे इस प्रकार सोच विचार कर रहे हैं. मसीह येशु ने उन्हें ही सम्बोधित करते हुए प्रश्न किया, “आप अपने मन में इस प्रकार सोच विचार क्यों कर रहे हैं? 9 लकवे के रोगी से क्या कहना सरल है, ‘तुम्हारे पाप क्षमा हुए’ या यह, ‘उठो! अपना बिछौना उठाकर चले जाओ’? 10 किन्तु मेरे ऐसा कहने का मतलब यह है कि तुम्हें यह मालूम हो जाए कि पृथ्वी पर मनुष्य के पुत्र को पाप-क्षमा का अधिकार है.” तब मसीह येशु ने लकवे के रोगी को आज्ञा दी, 11 “मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ: उठो! अपना बिछौना समेटो और अपने घर चले जाओ.” 12 वह उठा और तत्काल अपना बिछौना समेट कर उन सब के देखते-देखते वहाँ से चला गया. इस पर वे सभी चकित रह गए तथा परमेश्वर की वन्दना करते हुए कहने लगे, “ऐसा हमने कभी नहीं देखा.”
अपराधियों के साथ मसीह येशु की संगति
(मत्ति 9:9-13; लूकॉ 5:29-32)
13 तब मसीह येशु दोबारा सागर तट पर चले गए. एक विशाल भीड़ उनके पास आ गयी और वह उन्हें शिक्षा देने लगे.
14 मार्ग में मसीह येशु ने हलफ़ेयॉस के पुत्र लेवी को कर-चौकी पर बैठा देखा. उन्होंने उन्हें आज्ञा दी, “मेरा अनुगमन करो.” वह उठे और उनके साथ हो लिए.
15 जब मसीह येशु लेवी के घर पर भोजन के लिए बैठे थे, अनेक चुँगी लेने वाले तथा अपराधी व्यक्ति मसीह येशु तथा उनके शिष्यों के साथ भोजन कर रहे थे. एक बड़ी संख्या में लोग उनके पीछे हो लिए थे. 16 मसीह येशु को अपराधी व्यक्तियों के साथ भोजन करते देख व्यवस्था के शिक्षकों ने, जो वास्तव में फ़रीसी थे, उनके शिष्यों से प्रश्न किया, “यह चुँगी लेने वाले तथा अपराधी व्यक्तियों के साथ क्यों खाता-पीता है?”
17 यह सुन मसीह येशु ने उन्हें ही सम्बोधित कर कहा, “वैद्य की ज़रूरत रोगी को होती है, स्वस्थ व्यक्ति को नहीं. मैं धर्मियों का नहीं परन्तु पापियों का उद्धार करने आया हूँ.”
उपवास के प्रश्न का हल
(मत्ति 9:14-17; लूकॉ 5:33-39)
18 योहन के शिष्य तथा फ़रीसी उपवास कर रहे थे. कुछ ने आ कर मसीह येशु से प्रश्न किया, “ऐसा क्यों है कि योहन तथा फ़रीसियों के शिष्य तो उपवास करते हैं किन्तु आपके शिष्य नहीं?”
19 मसीह येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “क्या कभी वर के रहते हुए उसके साथी उपवास करते हैं? जब तक वर उनके साथ है, वे उपवास कर ही नहीं सकते. 20 किन्तु वह समय आएगा, जब वर उनके मध्य से हटा लिया जाएगा, वे उस समय उपवास करेंगे.
21 “किसी पुराने वस्त्र पर नये वस्त्र का जोड़ नहीं लगाया जाता क्योंकि ऐसा करने पर नये वस्त्र का जोड़ सिकुड़ कर उस पुराने वस्त्र की पहले से अधिक दुर्दशा कर देता है. 22 कोई भी नये दाख़रस को पुरानी मश्कों में नहीं रखता अन्यथा ख़मीर हो कर दाख़रस मश्कों को फाड़ देती है. इससे दाख़रस भी नाश हो जाता है और मश्कें भी—नया दाख़रस नए मटके में ही डाला जाता है.”
शिष्यों का शब्बाथ पर बालें तोड़ना
(मत्ति 12:1-8; लूकॉ 6:1-5)
23 एक शब्बाथ पर मसीह येशु अन्न के खेतों में से हो कर जा रहे थे. चलते हुए उनके शिष्य बालें तोड़ने लगे. 24 इस पर फ़रीसियों ने मसीह येशु से कहा, “देखो! वे लोग वह काम क्यों कर रहे हैं, जो शब्बाथ पर व्यवस्था के अनुसार नहीं है?”
25 मसीह येशु ने उन्हें उत्तर दिया, “क्या आपने कभी पढ़ा नहीं? क्या किया था दाविद ने जब वह तथा उनके साथी भूखे और भोजन की कमी में थे? 26 महायाजक अबियाथार के समय में उन्होंने परमेश्वर के भवन में प्रवेश किया तथा समर्पित पवित्र रोटी खाई जिसे खाना याजक के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी के लिए व्यवस्था के अनुसार नहीं था. यही रोटी उन्होंने अपने साथियों को भी दी.”
27 तब उन्होंने आगे कहा, “शब्बाथ की स्थापना मनुष्य के लिए की गई है न कि मनुष्य की शब्बाथ के लिए. 28 यह भी सुनो: मनुष्य का पुत्र शब्बाथ का भी स्वामी है.”

Guarigione di un paralitico
2 Ed entrò di nuovo a Cafarnao dopo alcuni giorni. Si seppe che era in casa 2 e si radunarono tante persone, da non esserci più posto neanche davanti alla porta, ed egli annunziava loro la parola.
3 Si recarono da lui con un paralitico portato da quattro persone. 4 Non potendo però portarglielo innanzi, a causa della folla, scoperchiarono il tetto nel punto dov'egli si trovava e, fatta un'apertura, calarono il lettuccio su cui giaceva il paralitico. 5 Gesù, vista la loro fede, disse al paralitico: «Figliolo, ti sono rimessi i tuoi peccati».
6 Seduti là erano alcuni scribi che pensavano in cuor loro: 7 «Perché costui parla così? Bestemmia! Chi può rimettere i peccati se non Dio solo?».
8 Ma Gesù, avendo subito conosciuto nel suo spirito che così pensavano tra sé, disse loro: «Perché pensate così nei vostri cuori? 9 Che cosa è più facile: dire al paralitico: Ti sono rimessi i peccati, o dire: Alzati, prendi il tuo lettuccio e cammina? 10 Ora, perché sappiate che il Figlio dell'uomo ha il potere sulla terra di rimettere i peccati, 11 ti ordino - disse al paralitico - alzati, prendi il tuo lettuccio e và a casa tua». 12 Quegli si alzò, prese il suo lettuccio e se ne andò in presenza di tutti e tutti si meravigliarono e lodavano Dio dicendo: «Non abbiamo mai visto nulla di simile!».
Chiamata di Levi
13 Uscì di nuovo lungo il mare; tutta la folla veniva a lui ed egli li ammaestrava. 14 Nel passare, vide Levi, il figlio di Alfeo, seduto al banco delle imposte, e gli disse: «Seguimi».
Egli, alzatosi, lo seguì.
Pasto con i peccatori
15 Mentre Gesù stava a mensa in casa di lui, molti pubblicani e peccatori si misero a mensa insieme con Gesù e i suoi discepoli; erano molti infatti quelli che lo seguivano. 16 Allora gli scribi della setta dei farisei, vedendolo mangiare con i peccatori e i pubblicani, dicevano ai suoi discepoli: «Come mai egli mangia e beve in compagnia dei pubblicani e dei peccatori?». 17 Avendo udito questo, Gesù disse loro: «Non sono i sani che hanno bisogno del medico, ma i malati; non sono venuto per chiamare i giusti, ma i peccatori».
Discussione sul digiuno
18 Ora i discepoli di Giovanni e i farisei stavano facendo un digiuno. Si recarono allora da Gesù e gli dissero: «Perché i discepoli di Giovanni e i discepoli dei farisei digiunano, mentre i tuoi discepoli non digiunano?». 19 Gesù disse loro: «Possono forse digiunare gli invitati a nozze quando lo sposo è con loro? Finché hanno lo sposo con loro, non possono digiunare. 20 Ma verranno i giorni in cui sarà loro tolto lo sposo e allora digiuneranno. 21 Nessuno cuce una toppa di panno grezzo su un vestito vecchio; altrimenti il rattoppo nuovo squarcia il vecchio e si forma uno strappo peggiore. 22 E nessuno versa vino nuovo in otri vecchi, altrimenti il vino spaccherà gli otri e si perdono vino e otri, ma vino nuovo in otri nuovi».
Le spighe strappate
23 In giorno di sabato Gesù passava per i campi di grano, e i discepoli, camminando, cominciarono a strappare le spighe. 24 I farisei gli dissero: «Vedi, perché essi fanno di sabato quel che non è permesso?». 25 Ma egli rispose loro: «Non avete mai letto che cosa fece Davide quando si trovò nel bisogno ed ebbe fame, lui e i suoi compagni? 26 Come entrò nella casa di Dio, sotto il sommo sacerdote Abiatàr, e mangiò i pani dell'offerta, che soltanto ai sacerdoti è lecito mangiare, e ne diede anche ai suoi compagni?». 27 E diceva loro: «Il sabato è stato fatto per l'uomo e non l'uomo per il sabato! 28 Perciò il Figlio dell'uomo è signore anche del sabato».

Vindecarea slăbănogului
2 După câteva zile, Isus S-a întors(A) în Capernaum. S-a auzit că este în casă 2 şi s-au adunat îndată aşa de mulţi că nu putea să-i mai încapă locul dinaintea uşii. El le vestea Cuvântul. 3 Au venit la El nişte oameni care I-au adus un slăbănog, purtat de patru inşi. 4 Fiindcă nu puteau să ajungă până la El din pricina norodului, au desfăcut acoperişul casei unde era Isus şi, după ce l-au spart, au pogorât pe acolo patul în care zăcea slăbănogul. 5 Când le-a văzut Isus credinţa, a zis slăbănogului: „Fiule, păcatele îţi sunt iertate!” 6 Unii din cărturari, care erau de faţă, se gândeau în inimile lor: 7 „Cum vorbeşte Omul acesta astfel? Huleşte! Cine(B) poate să ierte păcatele decât numai Dumnezeu?” 8 Îndată, Isus a cunoscut(C), prin duhul Său, că ei gândeau astfel în ei şi le-a zis: „Pentru ce aveţi astfel de gânduri în inimile voastre? 9 Ce(D) este mai lesne, a zice slăbănogului: ‘Păcatele îţi sunt iertate’ ori a zice: ‘Scoală-te, ridică-ţi patul şi umblă’? 10 Dar, ca să ştiţi că Fiul omului are putere pe pământ să ierte păcatele, 11 Ţie îţi poruncesc”, a zis El slăbănogului, „scoală-te, ridică-ţi patul şi du-te acasă.” 12 Şi îndată, slăbănogul s-a sculat, şi-a ridicat patul şi a ieşit afară în faţa tuturor; aşa că toţi au rămas uimiţi şi slăveau pe Dumnezeu şi ziceau: „Niciodată n-am văzut aşa ceva!”
Chemarea lui Levi
13 Isus(E) a ieşit iarăşi la mare. Toată mulţimea venea la El; şi El învăţa pe toţi. 14 Când(F) trecea pe acolo, a văzut pe Levi, fiul lui Alfeu, şezând la vamă. Şi i-a zis: „Vino după Mine!” Levi s-a sculat şi a mers după El.
Isus stă la masă cu vameşii şi păcătoşii
15 Pe(G) când şedea Isus la masă în casa lui Levi, mulţi vameşi şi păcătoşi au şezut şi ei la masă cu El şi cu ucenicii Lui; căci erau mulţi care mergeau de obicei după El. 16 Cărturarii şi fariseii, când L-au văzut mâncând cu vameşii şi cu păcătoşii, au zis ucenicilor Lui: „De ce mănâncă El şi bea cu vameşii şi cu păcătoşii?” 17 Isus, când a auzit acest lucru, le-a zis: „Nu(H) cei sănătoşi au trebuinţă de doctor, ci cei bolnavi. Eu am venit să chem la pocăinţă nu pe cei neprihăniţi, ci pe cei păcătoşi.”
Despre post
18 Ucenicii(I) lui Ioan şi fariseii obişnuiau să postească. Ei au venit şi au zis lui Isus: „Pentru ce ucenicii lui Ioan şi ai fariseilor postesc, iar ucenicii Tăi nu postesc?” 19 Isus le-a răspuns: „Oare pot posti nuntaşii câtă vreme este mirele cu ei? Câtă vreme au pe mire cu ei, nu pot posti. 20 Vor veni zile când va fi luat mirele de la ei, şi atunci vor posti în ziua aceea. 21 Nimeni nu coase un petic de postav nou la o haină veche; altfel, peticul de postav nou rupe o parte din cel vechi, şi mai rea ruptură se face. 22 Şi nimeni nu pune vin nou în burdufuri vechi, altfel, vinul cel nou sparge burdufurile şi vinul se varsă, iar burdufurile se prăpădesc; ci vinul nou este pus în burdufuri noi.”
Spicele de grâu şi Sabatul
23 S-a întâmplat că, într-o zi de Sabat, Isus trecea(J) prin lanurile de grâu. Ucenicii Lui, pe când mergeau, au început să smulgă(K) spice de grâu. 24 Fariseii I-au zis: „Vezi, de ce fac ei ce nu este îngăduit să facă în ziua Sabatului?” 25 Isus le-a răspuns: „Oare n-aţi citit niciodată ce(L) a făcut David când a fost în nevoie şi când a flămânzit el şi cei ce erau împreună cu el? 26 Cum a intrat în Casa lui Dumnezeu, în zilele marelui preot Abiatar, şi a mâncat pâinile pentru punerea înaintea Domnului, pe care(M) nu este îngăduit să le mănânce decât preoţii? Şi cum a dat din ele chiar şi celor ce erau cu el?” 27 Apoi le-a zis: „Sabatul a fost făcut pentru om, iar nu omul, pentru Sabat; 28 aşa că Fiul omului este Domn(N) chiar şi al Sabatului”.

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man(A)
2 A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. 2 They gathered in such large numbers(B) that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. 3 Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man,(C) carried by four of them. 4 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”(D)
6 Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, 7 “Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”(E)
8 Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? 9 Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? 10 But I want you to know that the Son of Man(F) has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, 11 “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 12 He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God,(G) saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”(H)
Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners(I)
13 Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him,(J) and he began to teach them. 14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,”(K) Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.
15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees(L) saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”(M)
17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”(N)
Jesus Questioned About Fasting(O)
18 Now John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting.(P) Some people came and asked Jesus, “How is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting, but yours are not?”
19 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? They cannot, so long as they have him with them. 20 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them,(Q) and on that day they will fast.
21 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. 22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”
Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath(R)(S)
23 One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and as his disciples walked along, they began to pick some heads of grain.(T) 24 The Pharisees said to him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”(U)
25 He answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need? 26 In the days of Abiathar the high priest,(V) he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat.(W) And he also gave some to his companions.”(X)
27 Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man,(Y) not man for the Sabbath.(Z) 28 So the Son of Man(AA) is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
