मन्दिर का आरोहण गीत।
1 मैं ऊपर पर्वतों को देखता हूँ।
किन्तु सचमुच मेरी सहायता कहाँ से आएगी
2 मुझको तो सहारा यहोवा से मिलेगा जो स्वर्ग
और धरती का बनाने वाला है।
3 परमेश्वर तुझको गिरने नहीं देगा।
तेरा बचानेवाला कभी भी नहीं सोएगा।
4 इस्राएल का रक्षक कभी भी ऊँघता नहीं है।
यहोवा कभी सोता नहीं है।
5 यहोवा तेरा रक्षक है।
यहोवा अपनी महाशक्ति से तुझको बचाता है।
6 दिन के समय सूरज तुझे हानि नहीं पहुँचा सकता।
रात में चाँद तेरी हानि नहीं कर सकता।
7 यहोवा तुझे हर संकट से बचाएगा।
यहोवा तेरी आत्मा की रक्षा करेगा।
8 आते और जाते हुए यहोवा तेरी रक्षा करेगा।
यहोवा तेरी सदा सर्वदा रक्षा करेगा!

A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven(A) and earth.(B)
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches(C) over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
