2 Плещіть, усі народи, у долоні,
радійте й голосно співайте Богу похвали.
3 Бо наш Господь Всевишній
благоговіння й страх вселяє нам,
Він—Могутній Цар, усього Всесвіту правитель.
4 Він нас підніс над іншими народами,
Він тих людей поклав, покірливих, до наших ніг.
5 Любов’ю сповнений до Якова,
наш Бог обрав нас, дав нам землю в спадок,
щоб Якову було пишатись чим. Села
6 Возноситься Господь на Свій престол
під гомін люду, звуки сурми.
7 Співайте Богу похвали[a],
у піснях восхваліть Царя.
8 Тому що Бог царює над всім світом,
вшановуйте Його прекрасними піснями.
9 Царем панує над народами Господь,
Бог возвеличується на святім престолі.
10 З усіх усюд збираються царі земні
зустрітись з Богом Авраама,
бо всі володарі землі належать Богу.
Він—вищий за усіх!

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
2 For the Lord Most High(C) is awesome,(D)
the great King(E) over all the earth.
3 He subdued(F) nations under us,
peoples under our feet.
4 He chose our inheritance(G) for us,
the pride of Jacob,(H) whom he loved.[b]

47 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
