29 Псалом Давида. Песнь на освящение храма[a].
2 Превозношу Тебя, Господи,
за то, что Ты поднял меня из бездны
и не дал моим врагам возрадоваться надо мной.
3 Господи, мой Боже, я на помощь Тебя призвал,
и Ты меня исцелил.
4 Господи, Ты вывел душу мою из мира мертвых.
Ты сохранил мне жизнь, чтобы я не сошел в пропасть.
5 Пойте Господу, верные Ему,
славьте святое имя Его!
6 Потому что гнев Его длится миг,
а милость Его – всю жизнь.
Всю ночь может длиться плач,
но утром приходит радость.
7 В благополучии я сказал:
«Вовек не поколеблюсь».
8 Милостив Ты был ко мне, Господи,
и утвердил меня, словно гору.
Но лишь сокрыл Ты Свое лицо,
и ужас объял меня.
9 К Тебе я взывал, Господи;
Владыку о милости я умолял:
10 «Что за польза от смерти моей,
если я низойду в бездну?
Будет ли прах Тебя славить?
Будет ли верность Твою возвещать?
11 Услышь, Господи, и помилуй меня!
Будь мне помощником, Господи!»
12 В танец радости Ты обратил мой плач,
снял лохмотья с меня и весельем меня препоясал,
13 чтобы сердце мое[b] Тебе пело и не смолкало.
Господи, мой Боже, буду славить Тебя вовеки!

A psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord,(A) you heavenly beings,(B)
ascribe to the Lord glory(C) and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness.(D)
3 The voice(E) of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory(F) thunders,(G)
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.(H)
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;(I)
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.(J)
6 He makes Lebanon leap(K) like a calf,
Sirion[b](L) like a young wild ox.(M)
7 The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.(N)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.(O)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c](P)
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”(Q)

29 ¡Rindan al Señor, seres celestiales;
rindan al Señor la gloria y el poder!
2 ¡Ríndanle la gloria digna de su nombre!
¡Adoren al Señor en su santuario hermoso!(A)
3 La voz del Señor resuena sobre las aguas.
El Dios de la gloria hace oír su voz.
El Señor está sobre las muchas aguas.
4 La voz del Señor es potente.
La voz del Señor es majestuosa.
5 La voz del Señor desgaja los cedros;
¡el Señor desgaja los cedros del Líbano!
6 ¡Su voz hace que los montes Líbano y Sirión
salten como becerros, como búfalos pequeños!
7 La voz del Señor lanza llamas de fuego.
8 La voz del Señor hace temblar al desierto;
el Señor hace temblar al desierto de Cades.
9 La voz del Señor desgaja las encinas
y deja los árboles sin hojas,
mientras en su templo todos proclaman su gloria.
