83 Песен. Псалом на Асаф.
2 (A)[a] Боже, недей мълча,
не бъди безмълвен и тих,
3 защото Твоите врагове негодуват
и онези, които Те мразят, надигат глава.
4 Подготвят коварен заговор против Твоя народ
и се обединяват против тези, които са под Твоя закрила.
5 (B)Казаха си: „Хайде да ги изтребим като народ,
за да не се споменава вече името Израил.“
6 Съветваха се заедно в сърцата си
и сключиха съюз против Тебе:
7 (C)жителите на Едом и измаилтяните,
моавците и агаритците;
8 (D)жителите на Гевал и Амон, както и на Амалик,
филистимците и жителите на Тир.
9 Към тях се присъединиха и асирийците.
Те станаха подкрепа за потомците на Лот.
10 (E)Постъпи с тях, както с мадиамците,
както със Сисара и с Явин при потока Кисон.
11 (F)Те бяха унищожени при Ен-Дор
и Ти натори с тях земята.
12 (G)Постъпи с тях и с техните князе, както с Орев и Зев;
и с всички техни първенци – както със Зевей и Салман.
13 Защото те казаха: „Да завладеем Божиите земи!“
14 (H)Боже мой, разпръсни ги като плява,
като слама от вятър.
15 (I)Както огън изгаря гората
и както пламък обгаря планината,
16 така и Ти ги преследвай със Своята буря,
смути ги със Своя вихър;
17 посрами лицата им
и те ще търсят Твоето име, Господи!
18 Нека да се засрамят и завинаги да се смутят,
да се посрамят и да загинат.
19 (J)И нека да разберат, че единствено Твоето име е Господ,
че Ти си Всевишният над цялата земя.

83 O Perëndi, mos rri në heshtje! Mos mbyll gojën, mos rri i qetë, o Perëndi!
2 Sepse, ja, armiqtë e tu po ziejnë dhe ata që të urrejnë ngrenë kokën.
3 Thurrin gracka kundër popullit tënd dhe bëjnë komplote kundër atyre që ti mbron.
4 Ata thonë: "Ejani t’i shkatërrojmë si komb, emri i Izraelit të mos kujtohet më".
5 Sepse kanë komplotuar së bashku me një mendje dhe kanë lidhur një besëlidhje kundër teje.
6 Çadrat e Edomit dhe Ismaelitët, Moabi dhe Hagarenët,
7 Gebali, Amoni dhe Amaleku, Filistia me banorët e Tiros;
8 dhe Asiria është bashkuar me ta për të ndihmuar bijtë e Lotit. (Sela)
9 Vepro me ta ashtu si bëre me Madianin, me Siseran dhe me Jabinin pranë përroit të Kishonit,
10 të cilët u shkatërruan në Endor dhe u bënë si pleh për tokën.
11 Bëj që krerët e tyre të jenë si Orebi dhe Zeebi, dhe tërë princat e tyre si Zebahu dhe Tsalmuna,
12 sepse ata thanë: "Të shtiem në dorë kullotat e Perëndisë".
13 O Perëndia im, bëji njëlloj si pluhuri i vorbullës, si kashta në mëshirë të erës.
14 Ashtu si zjarri djeg pyllin dhe flaka gllabëron malet,
15 kështu ndiqi me furtunën tënde dhe trëmbi me uraganin tënd.
16 Mbulo fytyrat e tyre me turp, me qëllim që të kërkojnë emrin tënd, o Zot.
17 U turpërofshin dhe u tmerrofshin përjetë, u ngatërrofshin dhe vdekshin;
18 dhe ta dijnë se ti vetëm, që quhesh Zoti, je Shumë i Larti mbi gjithë dheun.

83 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

83 Do(A) not keep silent, O God!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God!
2 For behold, (B)Your enemies make a [a]tumult;
And those who hate You have [b]lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together (C)against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and (D)let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
5 For they have consulted together with one [c]consent;
They [d]form a confederacy against You:
6 (E)The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot. Selah
9 Deal with them as with (F)Midian,
As with (G)Sisera,
As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
10 Who perished at En Dor,
(H)Who became as refuse on the earth.

12 Who said, “Let us take for ourselves
The pastures of God for a possession.”

(L)Like the chaff before the wind!

15 So pursue them with Your tempest,
And frighten them with Your storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame,
