8 И когато отвори седмия печат, настана мълчание на небето около за половин час.
2 И видях, че на седемте ангела, които стоеха пред Бога, се дадоха седем тръби.
3 И друг ангел дойде, та застана пред олтара, държейки златна кадилница; и нему се даде много темян, за да го прибави при молитвите на всичките светии над златния олтар, който бе пред престола.
4 И кадилният дим се издигна пред Бога от ръката на ангела заедно с молитвите на светиите.
5 И ангелът взе кадилницата, напълни я с огън от олтара и хвърли огъня на земята; и настанаха гръмове и гласове, светкавици и тръс.
6 И седемте ангела, които държеха седемте тръби, се приготвиха да затръбят.
7 Като затръби първият ангел, настана град и огън, размесени с кръв, които бидоха хвърлени на земята; и третата част на земята изгоря, също и третата част от дърветата изгоря, изгоря и всяка зелена трева.
8 И като затръби вторият ангел, нещо като голяма планина, пламнала в огън, се хвърли в морето; и третата част от морето стана кръв,
9 та измря третата част от одушевените същества, които бяха в морето; и третата част от корабите биде унищожена.
10 И като затръби третият ангел, падна от небето голяма звезда, която гореше като светило, и падна върху третата част от реките и върху водните извори.
11 А името на звездата е Пелин, и третата част от водите стана пелин, и много човеци измряха от водите, защото се вгорчиха.
12 И като затръби четвъртият ангел, третата част от слънцето, и третата част от луната, и третата част от звездите биде поразена, тъй щото да потъмнее третата част от тях, и третата част от деня да не свети, тъй щото и третата част от нощта.
13 И видях, и чух един орел, който летеше всред небето, и казваше с висок глас: Горко, горко, горко на земните жители поради останалите тръбни гласове от тримата ангели, които още има да затръбят.

8 Quando lʼAgnello ruppe il settimo sigillo, in cielo si fece silenzio per circa mezzʼora. 2 E vidi i sette angeli che stanno alla presenza di Dio: a loro furono consegnate sette trombe.
3 Poi un altro angelo avanzò e si fermò davanti allʼaltare con un incensiere dʼoro; e gli furono dati molti profumi da offrire, insieme con le preghiere del popolo di Dio, sullʼaltare dʼoro davanti al trono. 4 E il profumo dellʼincenso, insieme con le preghiere dei santi, salì dalla mano dellʼangelo fino alla presenza di Dio.
5 Allora lʼAngelo prese lʼincensiere, lo riempì coi carboni accesi dellʼaltare e lo scagliò sulla terra. Ecco che ci furono tuoni, grida, lampi, e un terremoto!
6 Allora i sette angeli, che avevano le sette trombe, si prepararono a suonarle.
7 Il primo suonò. Grandine e fuoco, misti a sangue, si riversarono sulla terra; un terzo della terra fu bruciato, come pure un terzo degli alberi e tutta lʼerba verde.
8-9 Il secondo angelo suonò. E una massa ardente, simile a una grande montagna infuocata, fu gettata nel mare, distruggendo un terzo di tutte le navi; la terza parte del mare diventò sangue e un terzo dei pesci morì.
10 Quando il terzo angelo suonò, una grande stella ardente come una fiaccola, cadde dal cielo sulla terra e colpì parte dei fiumi e delle sorgenti. 11 La stella si chiamava «Assenzio», perché avvelenò un terzo di tutte le acque della terra, che diventò amaro come lʼassenzio; e molte persone morirono.
12 Il quarto angelo suonò, e fu colpito un terzo del sole, della luna e delle stelle: la loro luce si oscurò, e il giorno e la notte perdettero un terzo della loro luminosità. 13 Allora guardai e vidi unʼaquila solitaria, che volava in mezzo al cielo, gridando a gran voce: «Guai, guai, alla gente della terra, perché capiteranno cose terribili, quando gli altri tre angeli suoneranno le loro trombe!»

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer
8 When he opened the seventh seal,(A) there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels(B) who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.(C)
3 Another angel,(D) who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people,(E) on the golden altar(F) in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God(G) from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar,(H) and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder,(I) rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.(J)
The Trumpets
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets(K) prepared to sound them.
7 The first angel(L) sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire(M) mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third(N) of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.(O)
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain,(P) all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third(Q) of the sea turned into blood,(R) 9 a third(S) of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky(T) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water(U)— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third(V) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.(W)
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third(X) of them turned dark.(Y) A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.(Z)
13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair(AA) call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe(AB) to the inhabitants of the earth,(AC) because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”
